I’m coming to you today with another one of my new favorite sex toys! I’ve reviewed several of the SquarePegToys® silicone anal toys, but the one I am reviewing today just might be my favorite. (It’s definitely my favorite!) Peepshow Toys is an online adult retailer that stocks only body-safe sex toys, so the high quality, platinum silicone goods that are handcrafted by SquarePegToys® are a perfect fit for Peepshow Toys.

This time around I’m talking about a butt plug called the Charlie Horse Wiggly. I reviewed the Charlie Horse Kidney plug with its chunky/angled appearance, which is designed to apply pressure to one’s prostate region. After that, it was the Charlie Horse Milk It, a re-imagined version of the original Charlie Horse plug with a jagged edge (don’t worry, it’s made of softer silicone) to give more of a textured massage to this sensitive spot.

Both of those plugs sport a large bulge just above the narrower neck of the toys, and this bulge helps spread willing holes open and create a great “filling” feeling once the plugs are seated. The Charlie Horse Wiggly has a very similar design on the bottom part of the plug: the same arched anal-safe base, the rounded, narrower neck that holds your hole open, and the bulging thick part of the plug that fills the area just inside your hole. But the upper aspect of this Charlie Horse is different. Waaaay different.

Check out the picture of the Wiggly and you can probably guess how it got its name. Beyond the bulge is a long, squirmy protrusion that extends nearly seven inches beyond the widest part of the plug. It twists and grows more narrow as it reaches the tip. (Or, as far as penetration goes, it gets more and more thick as the toy sinks deeper into your ass.)

I’ll tell you why I was so eager to get my hands on this piece. Many years ago, I saw the most deliciously perverse amateur (i.e. “homemade”) porn clip on one of the tube sites. A well-hung, hairy top fellow was preparing an eager bottom for an anal reaming. With the camera positioned just between the guy’s spread legs, the top began to rim the waiting hole. At first the tongue-job was soft and delicate, the tip of the top’s tongue teasing the waiting hole. As the bottom began to respond (his hole opened to welcome this talented tongue), the viewer soon realized that the top’s tongue was long and quite exceptional. This version of the Wiggly is solid black, which is a firmer silicone than the bronze Super Soft silicone that was used in every other SquarePegToys® plug I’ve tried. I actually wanted the firmer silicone this time around, because I knew exactly how I wanted to use this plug: like a tongue that went a little deeper into my ass with every slow, deliberate thrust. Not to worry, if you prefer this plug in the softer silicone, Peepshow Toys indeed has the Super Soft Charlie Horse Wiggly! (In two different colors.)

Even though the Charlie Horse Wiggly runs a total length of 9 inches, I wasn’t really concerned with whether or not I could insert the entire usable length of the toy. The “insertable length” isn’t listed on Peepshow Toys or the SquarePegToys® website, but I measured it as approximately 8.25 inches. Yes, this is one deep tongue. I used a thick water-based lube that Peepshow Toys stocks, called Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle. It goes on nice and thick and doesn’t drip all over. It really clings nicely to the toy and provides ample lubrication to the hole and beyond. NOTE: if you’re planning to go extra deep with the Wiggly, I’d recommend adding some supplemental lubricant directly inside your hole. This firmer silicone is pretty smooth, but it can grab your tender skin if things are not well greased up.

But before I talk to much about using this plug as a plug, let me go back to how it felt as a tongue. Absolutely amazing! Once it was properly lubed, I could dart the tip of the Wiggly in and out of my hole, feeling it slightly push me open when I dared to make my “rim job” a little deeper. Of course, I wanted to go as deep as possible, so once I was suitably relaxed, I did exactly that, allowing the Wiggly to twist even deeper inside me. I loved the way the rounded tip poked around inside me as the twisty part of the plug grew thicker. I also enjoyed slowly (or not so slowly) rotating the plug, to spin the tip inside me. Some good feeling were had with this thing!

Of course, most actual tongues aren’t as long and as thick as this toy, but who says you can’t enjoy fantasizing? I loved the bends in the shaft and feeling things grow thicker the deeper I went. I confess, I had so much fun giving myself a “deep tongue-job” with this thing, I wasn’t even worried about pushing the thick part of the plug past my hole and leaving the Wiggly entrenched inside me. I was enjoying fucking my hole with it, in and out, marveling at how deep I could feel it, and how twisty it felt each time I slowly rotated it in my hole. This is definitely my favorite way to use the Wiggly, but I did try it the “regular” was as well.

Even though the bulb on this plug isn’t quite the hole stretcher as the other two Charlie Horse plugs I tried previously (the Wiggly has a max diameter of about 1.75”, compared with the Kidney’s 2″ and the Milk It’s 2.07″), it was still a bit of a push to work in that last thick bit. I think a lot of it had to do with how long and deep the twisted upper aspect was up inside me when I finally worked it in. It was definitely a strange sensation, but I still kind of enjoyed it. Just not as much as the aforementioned deep tonguing sensation. Just like the other versions of the Charlie Horse plugs, the Wiggly has a base that will keep things properly anchored, yet very comfortable, especially if you’re using this plug while seated. Adding additional pressure to the base while it’s all the way in will give you some extra internal stimulation, so give that a try!

The Charlie Horse Wiggly is one of the few SquarePegToys® that is only available in one size, so there isn’t anything longer (or smaller) to recommend if you are looking for the same design in a different size. You can definitely check out a real depth explorer in the SquarePegToys® Slink Depth Training Probe, which measures in length from just over a foot long (Small), to a eye-popping 24.5” length in the 2XL version. Many months ago, Phallophile Reviews had asked if I was interested in reviewing one of these for her site (I had previously collaborated with her on the Njoy Pure Wand Guide, as well as having contributed a Male Sex Toy Guide to her site), but I felt that even the “smallest” Slink was a little too long and thick (6.6” circumference!) for my experience level. The newer Wiggly, on the other hand, isn’t quite so long or thick, but still snakes deep enough to explore some pretty wild play, so—for me—the Wiggly was the perfect longer toy for a depth play first timer. I’m back with another review for Peepshow Toys, and today I’m looking at another fun silicone toy from Boneyard Toys: a set of solid anal balls called Ass Ballz.

I’ve been using anal beads (and later, balls) for as long as I’ve been using sex toys. The early anal beads I tried would be considered pretty pathetic by today’s standards: hard plastic beads with rough/sharp mold lines strung up on a super-porous knit string. They were cheap, and really looked and felt like it. Still, I remember how good they felt, especially during the moment of climax, those solid beads stroking my then-barely-explored prostate as I gave the strand a slow but sure tug as I was cumming.

Thankfully, many sex toys have evolved over the years, and Boneyard Toys has really outdone themselves with this set of anal balls for the more experienced user. Their Ass Ballz come in three sizes: Medium, Large, and Extra Large. Beginners and those who prefer smaller beads can find suitable silicone options elsewhere, but these four ball strands are geared more to those who are looking for something larger.

Peepshow Toys sent me the Medium set and even those pack quite a punch. The rope—from ball one to the pull cord—measures 16” in length. As stated, these are made from 100% medical grade silicone, so the material is totally body friendly, unlike some of those earlier anal beads/balls that were made from weird materials that smelled funny. Do something good for your hole and pick out anal toys that are made from silicone and other body-safe materials. They don’t smell weird, won’t leech strange chemicals into your body, and usually these silicone toys last a lot longer. If you’ve ever spent money on jelly/PVC/TPR butt toys and found them losing their shape, melting, tearing, staining, or damaging other toys they’re stored with, consider upgrading your collection to stuff made of silicone. It’s really better in so many ways.

The silicone used in these anal balls is soft to the touch on the surface, but has a wonderfully solid feel to it. It’s silicone to the core, not some other unknown material that’s been coated in a thin layer of silicone to save production costs. Every other anal ball strand I have is pretty squeezable, but this Bone Yard set is good and solid. I love toys I can bear down on once they’re up inside me, and the more solid a toy is, the more it grinds against my prostate.

Of course, less give means that some will have a bit more trouble inserting these, especially if you’re not used to larger anal toys. The Medium set has four balls that measure 1.6” in diameter. Just for comparison, the Large size Vixen Gemstones anal balls that I reviewed recently “only” measure 1.25” across. So the Boneyard Ballz start large and only get bigger. Want something even larger for your hole? Try the Large (2” diameter) or the Extra Large (2.4” diameter) for even more hole popping times.

Regardless of the ball size, the design of all three is basically the same. Each rope has four like-sized balls spaced on on a narrow silicone cord. Interesting fact: the gap between each of the balls is the same measurement as the ball diameter. So the Medium set has 1.6” between each ball, the Large 2” between each balls, and the Extra Large set has a 2.6” space between the balls. I love that they spaced them out a little more than usual. While tightly-packed anal balls can be fun, I enjoy pulling on mine, and the extra bit of cord allows you to tug them a little more. But the rope is totally flexible, so once you get all four inside, they’ll still bang around against each other. These balls are smooth to the touch and totally free of any mold lines. Great for hole popping!

Once again, I used the thick water-based lube Peepshow Toys sent me in an earlier order: Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle. This is a body-friendly lubricant and (unlike a lot of water-based lubes) it goes on thick and clings nicely to toys like these anal balls. It seems to last a lot longer than a lot of water-based lubes, too. I don’t like having a lube dry up when I’m using anal toys, because it can make things feel uncomfortable, especially when you’re ready to pull these out. But the Wicked lube worked really well. I also tried this set with an oil-based lube Peepshow Toys sells: The Butters. This stuff goes on thick (kind of like actual butter) and lasts and lasts. I recommend either one, but the Wicked lube was a little less messy.

Even with the larger size, these lubed balls were swallowed hungrily by my hole. One of my favorite “sex toy sensations” is the way anal beads and balls slowly push my hole open and become swallowed up. The 1.6” space between the first and second ball gave me some slack to slide the first ball around once it was beyond my hole, and things only got better from there.

Some might be disappointed that there are only four balls on these Boneyard sets, but the increased size kind of makes up for it (and I’ve seen other sets of larger anal balls with only two or three balls on the rope, so four worked out just fine for me!). Once I had all four pushed up inside me, it was a deliciously full feeling, with lots of rubbing on my prostate. Want to give your P-spot even more stimulation? Slowly (or not so slowly) tug on the cord. They’ve added a nice loop handle on the end of the set, so not only can you easily pull your balls, but it doubles as a safety feature. (It keeps the rope from getting sucked all the way into your hole.)

My favorite part of using these Ass Ballz is the orgasm. As I’d hoped, the solidness of the balls really gives the user something to bear down on, especially during climax. For another fun sensation, try pulling the balls out as your start to orgasm. This is typically difficult for me, as my ass muscles tend to clamp down hard when I cum, and they grabbed these solid balls in a bear hug when I was unloading. And unload I did! The balls were kind of stuck in place, but everything else, uh, blew loose. I can’t say for sure if everyone who uses these anal balls will squirt like crazy, but I can say each time I used them, I made a big mess.

Once I was done, I had to wait a little bit for things to calm down (i.e. for my ass muscles to relax a bit) before I tried to extract these balls. I usually don’t get too much into post-orgasm toy play, but for some reason, extracting anal balls after cumming gives such weird and interesting sensations that I actually look forward to that “post game show” activity. Even though my cock is spent at this point, the prostate game is still going strong. It’s not a bad thing.

Even though I am totally happy with the “smaller” Medium set, I really hope to work my way up to one of the larger sets some day. At this point I can only imagine what the two bigger ropes of Ass Ballz will feel like, but I like thinking about it.

I mentioned lube already, but here’s another thing you might want to consider: an enema. When using anal toys (especially larger ones, and/or toys that are designed to “go deep” like these do), it might be beneficial to clean out your hole before getting busy. I also find that an enema of warm water really helps my hole relax before I start working a toy up there. Boneyard Toys also has a really cool douche system that turns a plastic water bottle into an instant enema. Simply fill your bottle with water, screw on one of the two included bottle adapters, then attach the 4-inch Boneyard Sqwert silicone nozzle, and comfortably proceed to flush out your hole before using your favorite toys. Speaking of which, I forgot to mention one of my favorite things to do with anal balls like these: allow a sex buddy to grease up a set of balls and use them on my hole while sucking me off. It really adds an extra element to an already-good blowjob and usually results in even more explosive fireworks in the end. Unfortunately (due to 2020 and all that’s come along with it), I haven’t been able to test drive the Boneyard Ass Ballz during partner play, but I am definitely looking forward to it!

Today I’m looking at a new toy from Maia that’s an interesting hybrid of several different anal toys: the Mason Vibrating Anal Bead Probe. It’s a little bit butt plug, a little bit anal probe, somewhat like anal beads, and even dildo-like. Throw in a pair of powerful rechargeable vibrators and some intense prostate stimulation and you’re looking at a toy that can do quite a bit. Peepshow Toys arranged for this sex toy testing, so let’s take a look at what Mason can do.

Mason comes snugly packaged in a box you can reuse for storage. There’s an insert for the toy, a holder for the wireless remote control, and a cable that’s used to charge both pieces. Curious about how long and thick this toy is? Here are the specs: the toy has a length of 9.5″ and 9″ is fully insertable. The probe features four interconnected beads and the one on the tip has a max diameter of just over one inch, and the rest get larger as the probe goes deeper. The second bead has a max diameter of 1.25″ and the next measures 1.30″. The fourth and final bead tops out at 1.35″ and slightly narrows into a short neck with a diameter of almost an inch. The vibrators are intense and have several different patterns. Like most vibrating toys, the first three settings are solid vibrations. Mason starts strong and gets more intense with each click. Once you move past the solid vibes, the patterns kick in, and these include:

• a solid burst of power with oscillating throbs
• alternating pulses between the two motors (two different speeds)
• solid vibes mixed with thumping pulses
• rattling vibes mixed with pulses
• solid vibes that alternate back and forth in intensity (hard and harder)
• a mix of solid vibes, rumbles and pulses
• solid vibes that sequence through slow to rapid intensity repeatedly (two different speeds)
• revving from slow to fast and quickly turning into hard pulses
• hard pulses that switch to grinding through slow to hard solid vibes (you get some really good throbbing in the tip on this setting)
• a rat-a-tat rumble followed by quick solid bursts, then back to the pattern

In all, there are fifteen different vibrating settings to enjoy, and every one of them is a powerhouse. Sometimes I wish toy companies would throw in a more mellow vibration or two, because not everyone wants to be blown through the back wall with the vibrator(s), though if you like intense stimulation, the Mason plug has got what you want.

Even though the vibes are great, I quickly found out my favorite way to use this probe is to get it nice and slippery with lube (I like Peepshow’s Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle for toys like these) and start to thrust in and out with it. I was able to get some great thrusting action, and the ripples on this thing just added to the stimulation. Even more pleasurable? As you thrust with this thing (even at a slow leisurely speed), the silicone starts to warm. I mean…REALLY warm. The heat I was getting off this plug felt amazing. For a few minutes I was worried the heat was coming from overworked vibrators, but then I remembered I hadn’t even turned them on. One of the best benefits of silicone sex toys is how the material warms to body temperature. This Maia plug feels absolutely wild once it’s nice and heated. Wow!

In addition to the vibrators not having any real low intensity settings, the only other issue I had was that the bottom of this toy’s shaft wasn’t quite long enough or thin enough for it to comfortably seat itself all the way up my butt. Sure, it felt really great once I worked all nine inches into me, but the fact is the neck was a little too thick and short for my hole to close completely up once it was inside me. The great thing about using anal beads (at least the corded ones) is that the string portion is usually narrow enough so your hole can close up and hold the toy inside. I had difficulty holding this thing in place, so I mostly just kept letting it pop out, so I could thrust it back in again (which wasn’t actually an unpleasant exercise).

Still, I would have liked to kept it seated in place for awhile, especially given how enjoyable the prostate massage was. My solution was to ball up a towel and wedge it between my legs, using the inner thighs to apply pressure, which kept the plug in place. You can use your hand(s) for this as well. I guess with the motorized components buried inside the plug, the neck just has to be a little bigger. Not a deal breaker, but you should definitely consider another plug if you’re looking for something to put in and keep in. The weird-looking curvy base actually works pretty well if you can get the thing all the way in. It’s comfortable, at any rate. And having the power button/control on the side instead of the bottom means you won’t accidentally switch up the vibrations or turn them off when you didn’t really mean to, when you’re pressing on the base trying to keep Mason pushed up inside you.

The Mason probe is waterproof and submersible, so feel free to enjoy this one in water. It also makes cleaning up easier when you’re done. Make sure to let it dry completely before storing it. The box holds all three parts and closes up with a magnetic snap, so definitely hang on to the packaging for easy storage.

I’m definitely recommending the Mason by Maia, since it’s such a versatile anal toy. It makes a great hole teaser if you’re just looking to use the first one or two beads, and gives great prostate massage when you move on to the third bead. If you can get it to stay in place, all four beads fill you up nicely, and the vibrators are great if you like hard/fast/intense stimulation. Keep the little remote handy to switch things up (or off) if the vibes get too powerful. Of course, my favorite way to use Mason is to use it as a thruster. Slow or fast, the silicone heats up wonderfully and adds such a nice dimension to an already-pleasurable anal experience. Turning the vibe on while thrusting just makes things even hotter.

I was asked to try out b-Vibe’s newest vibrating anal toy, Cinco Anal Beads, and I couldn’t have been more excited. I’m already a long-time fan of the company, whose Rimming Butt Plug and vibrating Trio Plug were early favorites. I reviewed the weighted Snug Plug 2 for Peepshow Toys (loved it!) as well as the smaller Rimming Plug Petite, which I thought was even better than the original. And now: Cinco Anal Beads, a set of five silicone balls, each one larger than the last. What makes the Cinco so special? The three larger balls each house a vibrator. That’s right: three vibrators are built into this thing. And you can even run it with a wireless remote control.

Like every other b-Vibe product I have tried, the Cinco will impress you as soon as you open the package. Nestled in a flip-open box, you’ll see the 8.2-inch string of silicone beads and the battery-operated hand remote tucked into a clear molded shell. The box is nice enough to store your new Cinco beads, but b-Vibe has thoughtfully included a padded zippered case that will hold the beads, the remote, and the charger. Also included is a comprehensive instruction manual – printed in English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, and Russian – and b-Vibe’s “Guide to Anal Play,” a little booklet that offers tips on everything from anal anatomy and prepping, to lubrication and clean up that’s a quick primer for anal beginners.

Right out of the box you notice how nicely made the Cinco is. It has a surprisingly firm feel to it. Typically, anal beads or balls are very flexible, especially the ones that are strung up on a cord. The Cinco beads almost have a butt plug feel them them, with only small gaps between each bead. The string as a whole does have some bend to it, but it will also stand completely upright too, so it’s only going to bend if you want it to. Each of the five silicone beads has a nice solid feel, but will give slightly if you press hard enough. The insertable length of the bead strand measures about 7.5 inches. b-Vibe touts this toy as “the perfect anal beads for experienced anal play fans,” but note the beads start out fairly small and gradually increase in size with each successive bead, so I think this is also pretty perfect for first timers who are looking for a toy they can ease into. It definitely allows you to start small and expand your experience at your own pace. Here’s a size chart from b-Vibe that shows the toy’s different dimensions:

There’s only about a quarter of an inch between each bead, but the neck – the portion between the last bead and the base – is about an inch long, which should allow your hole to close up around the stem once you’ve worked the final bead inside. The base is slightly curved, firm, and not so wide as to cause discomfort when the Cinco is totally inserted and the base is wedged between your cheeks. On the bottom of the toy is a magnetic charging port and a button that controls the vibrators, but I’ll get to that fun feature a little later on. As excited as I was to try the vibrator, I wanted to play around the first time without it, just to see how the Cinco worked as a non-vibrating set of anal beads.

Before using your beads, make sure to clean them with soap and hot water before (and after) each use. The Cinco is splash-proof, which makes cleaning a lot easier. b-Vibe recommends a water-based lubricant, and I recommend Sliquid’s Sassy. It’s thick and a much more natural lube than many and tends to work great with silicone anal toys. I actually lubed the entire strand of beads ahead of time, but you can easily lube each one as you go. It’s always better to add more lube if you need it, especially if the beads aren’t popping in as comfortably as you’d like. I was able to insert the first four beads pretty effortlessly, and the sensations on my hole were just the way I like it when I’m playing with a set of anal beads. A nice popping sensation, especially as the balls grew larger. The firmness of the toy and the close spacing of the beads almost makes it seem as if you’re using a rippled butt plug or anal probe, which makes thrusting the Cinco a lot of fun. After inserting the first four beads, the fifth one was a bit of a struggle for me, because the tip of the toy had come to rest in my P-spot area and it wasn’t bending quite right, which meant every time I tried to push in the last bead, I was feeling some incredibly intense sensations on my prostate. This actually felt so amazing that I didn’t even want to push the Cinco beyond this spot, so I just kept twitching that last (and biggest) bead against my hole, instead of pushing it inside. Now, I still hadn’t even turned on the vibrator(s) inside the toy and already the Cinco beads had me losing control. The closest thing I can compare it to is getting a prostate massage from a very talented finger. If you enjoy that, you’re going to love these beads, vibrations or no vibrations. I finished my first session without using the vibe and with that last ball still not inserted. And already I was looking forward to the next time I could use the Cinco.

The following night I was at it again, and decided even if I didn’t work that fifth bead in, I was going to at least try the Cinco with the vibrations turned on. In fact, I clicked on the motors before even inserting the first bead, just to see how it changed the sensations during penetration. Like every b-Vibe sex toy I have used (with the exception of the Snug Plug, which is embedded with heavy metal balls), the Cinco is equipped with a powerful vibrator. There isn’t a way to use just one (or two) of the three vibrators; once you turn this thing on, all three rev to life, so even on its lowest setting, you’re getting some intense sensations. The first two beads are totally solid, but the vibrations easily travel into the tip of the toy. As pleasurable as it was to insert the beads when they weren’t vibrating, things feel even better when they are. Pressing the first bead against your hole will make it tickle and quiver, and the sensations only intensify the deeper you go. Once the first two beads are inside, the last three deliver even more of a jolt, since the motors are encased inside these.

There’s always a bit of a learning curve when a sex toy has multiple speeds and a variety of vibration patterns, especially if there’s a remote involved. The Cinco controls were actually pretty straightforward, so I was able to play around with the different settings without too much trouble. To use the vibration mode, simply click the button on the base of the toy. A light will come on. Click it again and the beads will start to vibrate. By default, the first setting is steady vibrations. Each click of the button will cycle the toy through it’s 15 (yes, that’s right!) different patterns. Rather than describe them all, here’s a graphic from inside the manual:

In short, the longer pulses feel deliciously ticklish and the short bursts are intense and – if you have the beads inserted so you’ve got them pressed into your P-spot – will make it feel like something is tapping on your prostate. Absolutely incredible! Once you’ve decided on a steady vibe or pattern, you can increase or decrease the intensity using the hand-held remote. The Up buttons cycles through the patterns while a Left and Right button will alter the speed of the vibrator. There are six different settings for vibration intensity, so you can see how versatile the Cinco’s vibrator is. If you need to halt the vibrations suddenly, a quick tap on the center remote button (or a long hold on the button on the base of the toy) will silence the motors.

The Cinco’s lithium ion battery will run for about an hour on a full charge, an impressive feat given how powerful the output is. To charge your Cinco, simply insert the charging cord into any USB port and click the round magnetic end of the cable to the base of your toy. The LED light will pulse as it’s charging and a solid light means it’s ready to go. b-Vibe indicates a full charge takes about two hours. If the light on your beads starts to flash rapidly, that means you’re running low on power and a charge is needed.

The b-Vibe Cinco is hands down the most versatile set of anal beads I’ve ever tried. The toy is sturdy enough for thrusting, yet the rounded beads work perfectly for hole play. While flexible, the Cinco firmness is just right for amazing prostate stimulation. The impressive vibrator (and all it’s speeds and patterns) aside, any anal toy that makes my prostate feel this good deserves a top rating. I did end up working all five beads inside and what a nice feeling, but I have to recommend this configuration: leave that last bead outside and pressed up against your hole. For me, I was squirming around from the pressure on my prostate while the vibrators inside the fourth and fifth beads were teasing my hole from either side. Mind-blowing! And I haven’t even mentioned this fun part about anal beads: when you’re finally ready to unload and as you feel your orgasm approaching, slowly begin to withdraw the beads from your hole. It’s a satisfying sensation that few sex toys will give you. When you mix in some intense vibrations, you might just have one of the best climaxes ever. And be sure to try the Cinco during partner play. Whether you want it buzzing inside your during oral sex, or jolting your prostate while you fuck, the pleasure can only be intensified. Allowing your partner to tease your hole with the Cinco’s beads makes for great foreplay and handing over the remote so they can control the vibrations adds even more fun to hot sex. The Cinco makes a great travel toy, too. Not only do you get the aforementioned slim case to tuck the beads, the remote and the charger in, but b-Vibe has given the toy a travel lock, so the vibrator won’t kick on accidentally while you’re on the go.

Any drawbacks to the Cinco? The price is a little steep, as it is on most luxury vibrating toys, but the b-Vibe Cinco beads are so well made and will bring you pleasure again and again, so this is definitely a sex toy to splurge on. The only other quibble I had with the toy was the button on the base. I like to insert an anal toy all the way in and then manually put pressure on the base to work it even deeper into my prostate. While this method works great with the Cinco beads, the location of the power button on the base means that I inadvertently kept turning the vibrator off or changing the vibe pattern when I was pressing on the base. Once I realized I could straddle the button and apply pressure on either end instead, the issue was resolved. It’s not even a complaint, really, just something to consider when using your Cinco.

Do I recommend the Cinco beads? Definitely! I’ve already added them to my Favorites and hope they become your new favorite toy too. What’s not to like? High quality workmanship, the perfect size and shape for hole popping, deep penetration with intense prostate massage, and a powerful array of vibrations that will blow you away. I love anal beads. One of the first sex toys I can remember buying was a set of anal beads, and this was back in the day when beads were hard plastic, strung up on a knotted nylon cord with a plastic ring at the end of the string to keep them from disappearing up your ass. Things have changed for the better since that time. I’ve found some decent anal beads in recent months: the silicone Gemstones, which are semi-squishy silicone balls on a silicone-coated cord. They are great, but pretty pricey. One of my favorite companies — b-Vibe — put out an amazing set of vibrating anal beads, which I love, but that feels more like a unique bendy buttplug than a strand of flexible anal beads.

When offering me the Apex vibrating prostate massager to review, I had a conversation with Peepshow Toys about how Blush Novelties was really coming out with an impressive collection of new stuff, and asked had they seen Blush’s new Performance Advanced Silicone Anal Beads? They had, and were stocking them in their online store. So that’s how I came to receive a set to try out and review. Let’s take a look.

The Performance Advanced Silicone Anal Beads are made entirely of body-friendly silicone, and are available in two colors: blue and black. They are smooth, satiny, and odor free. The entire strand measures 16 inches (15 insertable), so I’d personally consider them “anal balls” rather than beads, but they aren’t too huge as anal toys go. The balls vary in size from just under one inch, to a max diameter of 1.5 inches. Each bead has a silky finish but is very hard to the touch. Squeezing the beads, you’ll notice how firm they are. Even when pushing firmly on them, there’s very little give. I actually think this is a good thing, because it means the beads have a solid feel inside you.

While I can appreciate the beads in different sizes, I’m curious why Blush chose to alternate smaller beads with larger ones, instead of placing them small to large in order of diameter. The nice thing about starting small and growing gradually larger is it allows users who are newer to anal play to increase the bead size incrementally. While a size difference of a little over a half inch doesn’t sound like much, to a newbie it can be a bit of a jump. Peepshow Toys also stocks another set of Blush Silicone Anal Beads that sports 10 beads in 5 different sizes. If you’re a beginner or want something a little smaller, this one might be a good trainer for the Advanced set of beads. At any rate, the smaller strand has beads that increase incrementally in size. But let’s get back to the Advanced set….

Between each bead is a narrow length of silicone cord, leaving about an inch gap between the bead that follows. I love that they did this! It allows the strand to bend and move more freely, and allows the beads to knock against each other or bang against the back-end of your hole when piled up inside you. You’ll note that each bead has a nice taper as it meets the cord. Blush had comfort in mind when designing these beads. No abrupt transitions as you push them in, or pull them out. The string ends with a 2-inch section of cord followed by a large round loop that will give the user something to hold onto and tug on, while keeping the beads from slipping up into the anal cavity out of reach.

Be sure to use lots of lube with these beads. While the surface is smooth, there can be a bit of grab – especially around the tender flesh of your hole – when pushing them in and pulling them out. I like Sliquid Sassy water-based lube when using silicone anal toys. You can lube the entire string at once, but I prefer to lube each bead individually as I go. I coat the first (smallest) one, and make sure I’ve lubricated my hole as well. The roundness of the bead makes for easy insertion and you’ll feel a delicious “pop” as it pushes you open and the hole closes around the back of the bead. The inch gap of cord really is noticeable here; it allows you to tug on the bead and bang it against the inside of your hole. I like to pop the beads in and out, repeatedly, so I’ll typically grease up the second (or third) one and work that inside, leaving the first bead as an anchor of sorts. Even though the third bead on the strand is one of the larger ones, I didn’t have any trouble pushing it in while it was properly lubed up. And I was re-thinking my initial disappointment about having some of the larger balls near the beginning of the toy, because they really feel noticeably better popping the hole open and knocking against the inside of anal opening. The cord is pretty slender and has a bit of elasticity to it, but it’s not so stretchy that you can’t get a good tug on it.

You don’t have to push all six of the beads inside to enjoy this toy, but it sure does feel great once you have them all worked in. The flexibility of the string means the beads will easily “pile up” inside your ass, and the firmness of the beads will give your prostate (if you have one) some delightful pressure right where you want it. Be sure to bear down on the beads and feel how intently they press into your P-spot. Honestly, I’ve never gotten a great prostate massage from this type of anal beads before, but these Blush beads are so solid that they work terrifically at kneading just the right spot. Plus it feels great when you gently pull on the cord and allow the beads to knock around inside your ass. Again, the flexible cord offers just enough slack to make this feel really wonderful.

In case you hadn’t heard this before, one of the most amazing features of (good) anal beads/balls is removing them at just the right time. Specifically, pulling them out at the moment of climax. If you’ve played with anal toys before, you probably have noticed how intense an orgasm can be when something stimulates your prostate while you’re climaxing. Anal beads take this feeling a step further. With a long strand of semi-large beads, you not only get something massaging your P-spot, but the sensation of the balls’ rounded curves bumping over this area as you pull them out. My own anal muscles clamp down quite hard during orgasm, so I can’t get the entire 6-ball strand yanked out in one deft pull, but a nice slow tug just as my orgasm starts to lift off makes for one of the best climaxes I’ve gotten from a sex toy. Not only was my orgasm more intense and prolonged, but it increased the output of my ejaculation as well. Considerably. And honestly, I couldn’t even tell that the beads were different sizes as they were popping back out during my wild protracted orgasm.

Another thing I have to mention: because these beads are made of silicone, you’ll be able to clean them up easily after use. Some hot water and soap, and they’re good to go once they’ve dried completely. You can’t say the same thing for strands of beads that are strung up on porous cords. So… if you’re looking for a good set of anal beads made of body-friendly silicone that are comfortable enough for easy insertion, but large enough (and firm enough!) for prostate stimulation and more intense orgasms, be sure to give these Advanced Silicone Anal Beads from Blush Novelties a try.
