Oxlube Silicone Lubricant from Oxballs

NOTE: This review was originally released on October 20, 2023

(My Photo)

I’m back with a review for a new product, and it’s a good one! Peepshow Toys reached out to me and asked if I had any interest in testing out one of the lubricants from Oxballs. Since I love Oxballs toys and gear and I’m always up for greasing up my cock (or my favorite toys), I said yes. Not long after, I was sent a sample box of Oxballs premium silicone lube: Oxlube Silicone.

Oxballs puts out this thick slippery silicone lube in two different sizes: a small (but still generous) 4.4 ounce flip-top bottle and an even bigger one that holds 8.5 ounces! When I opened the box from Oxballs, I was so amazed that they had included both sizes!

Even before opening one of the bottles I could see they really made an effort to present this lube in a stylish way. The bottles are both black with screw-on flip-top caps. The bottles have an internal seal under the cap so nothing will leak out before you crack it open. The labels are really cool as well: black, white and orange with the trademark Oxballs ox and easy to read printing on the side of the bottle.

The first thing I noticed was that this lube is made in the USA and also a 3-ingredient silicone lube with no fillers or preservatives. Curious about those three ingredients? Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone and Dimethiconol. Oxballs describes this lube as “warm, melty and really slick.” It is all of those things. “Use sparingly,” says Oxballs. A little bit of this Oxlube will go a long way, which is generally true of silicone lubes…at least the good ones.

Oxballs says this lube works for jacking off, anal sex/play, vaginal sex and touts its compatibility with toys. It’s also 100% condom compatible. Peepshow Toys’ own product listing says, “Not recommended with most silicone toys” which contradicts Oxballs statement that it’s “sex toy safe with all materials, including Oxballs Liquid Platinum Silicone toys, flexTPR, latex, glass, metal….” My caution is that you should ALWAYS test any lubricant (especially silicone-based lubes) with your favorite toys in a small inconspicuous spot before greasing them up with a heavy layer of unfamiliar lube. Some silicone lubes do react with silicone toys, so it’s always better to be safe and test out a small area of your toy first. Myself, I did not try this lube with any silicone toys, but when I use the two together in the future I will update this post accordingly.

I do like to use silicone lubricant with my two favorite stainless steel toys: the Njoy Pure Wand and the Njoy Pjur Plug. Silicone lube is always long lasting and doesn’t typically need constant reapplications, so a nice thin coating on a sleek stainless steel toy works really well (for me, I know some users don’t enjoy using slippery silicone lube on very smooth–and heavy/hard–metal toys.

Actually, my favorite use for silicone lube is jacking off. A good silicone lubricant is thick, slippery and feels just like a nice warm coating of baby oil on your aroused cock and balls. The Oxlube silicone was perfect for this, and they weren’t kidding when they said you don’t need a lot! Spread a small amount around in a nice even coat and enjoy how wonderful it feels. It’s great for edging sessions and the warm oily texture mixes nicely if and when you start to leak precum. I always enjoy how moisturizing silicone lubricant feels, and this stuff leaves every piece of skin it touches feeling like you’re wearing a silky lotion.

One thing I will mention about any silicone lube: it can be messy and it can and will stain if you’re not careful. Even though Oxballs version is quite thick, it’s still pretty runny if you get a little haphazard when applying it. Squeeze very gently and ease just a small amount out of the bottle to start. You can always add more later.

I like to unroll a “sex toy towel” onto the bed before using toys and/or lubricant that could get messy, and I definitely employed this technique when testing this lube. Things didn’t get too sticky when jacking off, but a test run with Oxlube on the oversized Njoy Pure Wand was a little messier. The towel under me worked perfectly. Now, if I was going to pull this lube out during sex, I’d go one step further and put down my “sex sheets” – a cheaper set of linens I picked up to use when lubricants and cum would likely to be flowing. If you do happen to stain any fabrics while using silicone lube, I’ve found that treating the stain with an oxygen-based laundry agent and using some oxygen-based detergent in your wash cycle often takes care of these types of stains. Silicone lubes don’t absorb into the skin or readily break down like other types of lubes (which is one reason they last so long), so it doesn’t hurt to take some precautions when using the stuff.

So how did I like Oxballs silicone Oxlube? I loved it! As promised, the stuff was warm, slippery and long lasting. The absolute perfect companion for a long, slow edging session where you don’t want to have to constantly reach for the lube to add more. It worked great with my favorite toy, too. Again, I want to lubricate the toy, gently insert it into my hole, and not have to keep stopping and pulling it out to add more lube.

And even though I haven’t tried it for partner sex yet, I know this is going to work great. Bottoms seem to love a good silicone lube for a protracted fuck session (I know I do!) and this stuff is going to work wonderfully for that. I also love that both bottles (even the smaller of the two) are chunky enough to grab and hold while your other hand is busy with, uh, something else. Nothing worse than ordering a bottle of expensive silicone lube and receiving a little tiny plastic bottle with a screw top lid and not being able to hold onto it during sex or stroking. And the caps on these bottles are easy to flip open and snap shut, making spills and drips a lot less likely.

While this silicone lube (like any silicone lube) can be messy, you can clean it up with some soap and hot water when you’re finished stroking, having sex, or using your favorite sex toys. Even after washing up, the lube should leave your skin feeling silky and moisturized. Be very careful with this stuff, though. If you happen to drip any on a smooth surface (sleek floors, tile, etc) this could render things extra slippery. Even the bottle could become unwieldy if some lube residue ends up on it. I like to keep a cloth/tissue handy when I’m using lube as a way to help wipe up any messes before they can cause problems.

Peepshow Toys is stocking both sizes of Oxlube so your main question is do you go for the smaller (yet generous) bottle or splurge on the extra large 8.5 ouncer? Though silicone lubes are typically the most expensive on the market, when I did a quick price comparison between these Oxballs products and some of my other favorite silicone lubes, the Oxlube was available (at least from Peepshow Toys) at a more reasonable cost. If you’re new to silicone lube, or you don’t tend to use a whole bunch, I’d probably recommend the 4.4 ounce bottle to try. However, if you already know how great a high-quality silicone lube is, by all means consider going for the larger bottle. Either way, this stuff should last you awhile. A little of this lube goes a long way, and (unlike most water-based lubricants) you won’t constantly have to keep reapplying it.

Neo Elite Dual Density Silicone Dildos

NOTE: This review was originally released on January 11, 2023

Today I’m reviewing a pair of realistic dual density silicone dildos made by Blush Novelties exclusively for Peepshow Toys. Blush has taken two of their popular Neo Elite dongs and manufactured them in a custom color available only from Peepshow Toys.

The original Neo line is realistic in shape and size, but only available in bright neon colors. This is perfect for the buyer who wants a lifelike dildo and is happy with a vivid color, but if you want the same dildo in a more realistic skin tone, you might a pass on this one.

Now two of their Neo Elite dongs have been issued—only at Peepshow Toys—in a light colored flesh tone (branded as “Vanilla”). While both of the dildos have a similar shape and size, there are a few differences I’ll be pointing out in this review. The most obvious: One has balls. One has no balls.

Out of the packaging, the pair of dongs seems slightly similar. The body-safe silicone used to make these toys looks and feels (and smells…no odor!) pretty great. The material captures the realistic details that went into the mold and transfers nicely into the finished product. Both of the dildos feature beautiful curves, lines and ridges and if you examine them more closely, you’ll notice lots of realistic veins, bulges and skin textures.

There are actually two layers of silicone used in these toys, so when you squeeze them (either with your hands, or your holes) you’ll instantly feel a more solid inner core surrounded by the softer outer layer. It’s details like this that make a toy that looks fairly real, feel like the real thing as well.

There wasn’t really a huge difference in the two dicks that I sampled. Both have the same exact color and have the same soft-over-firm feel when squeezed. Each tout a 7.5-inch length and a nice upward curve to the shaft. The most noticeable difference is that one dong has balls and the other does not. I usually don’t have a preference for balls either way on realistic dongs, but the model that does include the balls has such a nice set that it really does add to the overall realism of the piece.

That said, before I tested either one, I reasoned that I would probably enjoy the balls-free dildo a little better. The shaft is a little more narrow (especially near the top) and the head is a bit smaller, and seems more streamlined with the shaft. While nicely textured itself, the detailing on the No Balls models seemed more subtle. The shape and gradual shaft thickening (but not too thick: 1.5 inches) is what appealed to me. The dick does widen a little near the base, which is a wide smooth circle that can be used either as a holding piece or a suction cup if you want some hands-free action. While I did not try it this way, Blush also indicates that the suction cups on these toys can be used with a harness for strap-on play.

Neo Elite 7.5″ — No Balls Version

(Retailer Photo)

I tried the No Balls version first and was surprised at how intense it felt. While anal newbies or those who prefer small toys would probably find a 7.5-inch dildo a challenge, visually it doesn’t seem that imposing. The head and shaft don’t look too daunting, so I was surprised that—during penetration—that it felt so…filling.

You can definitely feel the more solid inner layer, especially when clenching the toy. This is one of my favorite things to do when using any anal toy, to see how well it stimulates my prostate. I’d give the No Balls Neo Elite medium marks on this score, only because the softer outer layer means (for me, at least) I don’t get as much pressure on my P-spot as I would with a toy that’s much more solid.

Still, I got plenty of good “prostate rubbing” from slowly thrusting this thing in and out. Since there aren’t any balls on this one, it seems that you can get it in a bit deeper (Peepshow’s site lists an insertable length on both models as 5.5 inches). Also, try using the round base as a crank, and spin the dildo to see what angle feels better. Since both have curved shafts, turning the toy even slightly can alter how it feels inside you.

Neo Elite 7.5″ — With Balls Version

(Retailer Photo)

Once I finished with the No Balls version, I moved on to the one with balls. Seriously, the nuts on the base of this toy are so damn cute! To me, there’s nothing hotter than a hard dick with a swollen head and a perfectly-shaped pair of testicles pulled tightly up against the base of an erect shaft. On these points, the Balls version of the Neo Elite dildo is visually perfect!

Not only are the balls nice, but the head is more defined in this model. It’s a bit more swollen than the No Balls dong, and has a nice flared ridge along the base of it. The shaft is curved and seems to be even thicker than the other one I tried, with lots of realistic detailing, including a sweet raised ridge that runs vertically down the underside of the shaft, from the frenulum under the head and bisecting the aforementioned nuts at the base.

The balls will make for a perfect anal-safe base, but Blush also includes the round handle/suction cup that the other one has. While the suction cup works fine, I really like the size and firmness of these to use as handles. Not only does it give you something fairly substantial to hold onto during use, but it makes it easier to rotate the toy once any part of it (or all of it) is up your butt.

I was pleasantly surprised at how the extra detailing and extra girth felt during use. While I really enjoyed the more streamlined No Balls dong, the Balls version felt even better to me. The shaft is a bit shorter (gotta make room for those nuts) but I loved the second one even more. Even the slightest rotation using the round base sent shock-waves through my hole, and thrusting felt pretty damn good, especially when the tight little nuts pressed against my stretched hole.

(Manufacturer Photo)

While I loved both of these dildos, the Balls version is my favorite. The texture is a little nicer, the thickness a little greater overall, and just the way the whole package looks makes the experience a little more satisfying.

I kind of wish Blush had decided to use two more drastically different dick sizes/shapes when selecting the exclusive versions for Peepshow Toys. Since both are so similar, it’s hard to say “You need both of these!” For most, it will likely be a question of “Do I want balls on my dildo or not?” Honestly, if I only had one to choose from (just from the photos), I probably would have selected the No Balls version, but I’m glad I got to try both, since the Balls one is honestly my favorite of the two.

I just think it would have been nicer to have one of them be a thicker or shorter cock, or maybe a large/thick dick. And while I am sure the “custom color” was selected based on what was more readily available and efficient for making these Peepshow-only versions, it would be really cool to see some different (darker) skin tones. Perhaps Peepshow Toys can add even more custom versions of Blush Novelties’ beautiful dildos, so there will eventually be a range of sizes, shapes and colors.

But for now, these first two offerings are a good start. I would definitely recommend either one (or both of them!). I couldn’t help but think that more adventurous users experienced in double penetration might love to lube up both of these cocks at once and use them side by side. But using them one right after another is fun too! If you do order both, let me know which one ends up being your favorite!

Ready to try these exclusive dildos? Find both of them at Peepshow Toys in Vanilla using the following links:

As I already mentioned, Blush Novelties originally released these in neon colors and Peepshow is stocking those as well. Use these links to get either dildo in any available color:

SquarePegToys® Blunt™ Plug Review

NOTE: This review was originally released on July 22, 2019

A few weeks ago I tested and reviewed the Egg Plug from SquarePegToys® for Peepshow Toys. Not long after I finished that up, I was offered another one of the silicone butt plugs from this collection: the Blunt™ Plug. Let’s see how this one compares to the Egg Plug.

At a glance, the two plugs seem fairly similar. They are both manufactured in America from hand-sculpted molds and made with 100% platinum grade silicone that’s US sourced. Peepshow Toys currently stocks the Bronze versions for both toys, which is a SuperSoft material that helps with insertion and makes for a comfortable long-term wear. I love the color, a deep coppery shade that’s just shimmery enough to give it a metallic appearance. Each plug sports a smooth rounded tip and a wide, anal-safe base. When I was first contacted to do a review for one of the SquarePegToys® plugs, I gravitated toward the Egg Plug initially because a “group photo” I had seen of the various Blunt™ Plugs made it seem as if the base of these was narrow and rounded, not wide and curved like the base on each of the Egg Plugs. Happily, this was not the case. Since the photo I had seen showed the Blunt™ Plugs positioned at a sideways angle, the anchor-like shape of each base was not that apparent. I was glad to see both sets of plugs feature a decent (wide) base for safety.

(My Photo)

When selecting a Blunt™ Plug to review, I opted for the S4, a mid-sized toy that most closely resembled the Egg Plug that I had tried out (I tested a Medium). I figured this way I could more easily compare the two. The main difference between the Egg Plugs and the Blunt™ Plugs is the size and shape of the necks. While the Egg Plugs had been designed with a relatively narrow neck, the Blunt™ Plugs have a much thicker root. This is perfect for those who desire to keep their holes stretched open while wearing the plug. Just to compare the two side by side, the Medium Egg Plug is 5 inches long and has a max width of 1.83 inches. The Blunt™ Plug I tried has a 4.5 inch length and the plug’s maximum circumference is 5.9″ with the neck’s circumference measuring 4.5″. An informal measuring of my Egg Plug gives a maximum circumference as 5.6″ with the more compact neck measuring about 3.6 inches.

Medium Egg Plug (left) vs. Blunt™ Plug S4
(My Photo)

The Blunt™ Plug is offered for those who would like their hole to gape more, and the design is successful in this regard. I was definitely more aware of the plug being inside me at all times, whereas the Egg Plug — while definitely providing a “filling” sensation — offered a more comfortable sensation overall. Which isn’t to say I didn’t enjoy the Blunt™ Plug’s unique feel. If you’ve ever used a dildo with a uniform girth, you know how this tends to hold your hole open. The Blunt™ Plug offers a similar feel. For this reason, I’d definitely recommend a Blunt™ Plug as a “trainer” of sorts for those who wish to incorporate thicker toys into their play. This is even a good choice for those who wish to try anal sex — or any kind of anal play, really — but aren’t sure what the sensation of being stretched open might feel like.

(My Photo)

One of the things I really liked about the earlier toy I tried — the Egg Plug — was how comfortable it was during a longer session. I could even move around and walk about with the plug inside. With the thicker neck, I didn’t think the Blunt™ Plug was going to perform as well as the other one for those times when I wanted to keep the plug in, but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the stretch the Blunt™ Plug gives is definitely noticeable the entire time it’s up inside you, but the SuperSoft silicone used in all of these plugs gives even this thicker toy a leg up, so go ahead and put it in and leave it in. While I’d want something firmer for intense prostate stimulation, the squishiness of these SquarePegToys® easily makes them some of my favorite softer sex toys. The softness makes them (at least for me) easier to push into my hole, and pull them out when I’m finished. I will say, due to the thicker neck on this one, it was even easier than the Egg Plug to remove. (The Egg Plug delivers a nice satisfying “pop” though, as the larger portion of the plug stretches you open again from the inside as you’re pulling it out of your hole.)

(My Photo)

Even though the design of the base is somewhat different from the Egg Plug, the Blunt™ Plug still works well as a butt plug you’d want to sit on. The base is nice and flat and though I kinda wish it had the upwardly-curving base that the Egg Plug has (so comfortable!) the downward-curving base on the Blunt™ is pretty comfortable as well. You definitely notice the base in your crack more than the Egg Plug, but with the thicker root of this toy stretching your hole, the base isn’t going to be that distracting. Like the Egg Plug, Peepshow Toys is stocking six different sizes of this thing, so there’s a good size for every user. There are 3 smaller versions than the one I tried, and 2 thicker ones. [Update from July 2020: the plugs are available in even more sizes! Check Peepshow Toys for details.]

(Manufacturer Product Photo)

I used my favorite water-based lube — Sliquid Sassy — on this toy and it worked great. I’ve recently been integrating a lube shooter syringe into my anal play, which makes it so much easier to deliver a nice helping of lubricant before I try to push any larger toy into my hole, and it also makes pulling anything out way easier and more comfortable. Manufactured from silicone, these plugs are body-friendly and there are no nasty chemicals inside them (which, in turn, give your toys nasty odors). Clean up is easy, too. Just be sure to let them dry completely before storing, and store them upright without being mashed in with a bunch of other stuff. Due to the softness of the material, some distortion could occur if you store them haphazardly. I’ve been putting each cleaned/dried plug back in its plastic zip bag and making sure each one stands on its flat base to help preserve its shape so I can enjoy it for years to come.

Are you ready to select your own Blunt™ Plug from SquarePegToys®? Fine the perfect one for you in six different sizes at Peepshow Toys:

*UPDATE: JULY 2020 — The Blunt™ Plugs are now available in another color (graphite—see the photo below) and a total of 11 different sizes!

SquarePegToys® Egg Plug Review

NOTE: This review was originally released on June 27, 2019

SquarePegToys® is one of those brands that I’ve admired from afar, but never tried. Last week that changed when I received one of their Egg Plugs from Peepshow Toys.

Before I get to the toy, let me say a little something about SquarePegToys® as a company. This is a US-based company — in business for 22 years — that makes its toys from 100% platinum grade silicone. Not only are the pieces hand-crafted in the US, but everything is made with US-sourced raw materials. Each toy starts with an original sculpture which is turned into a mold from which the finished toy emerges.

While SquarePegToys® is known both for their unique/wild designs and their oversized anal toys, Peepshow Toys has chosen to stock somewhat more traditional pieces in their own shop. The Egg Plugs look a lot like conventional butt plugs, with a flared base and skinnier necks, with the business end of the plugs shaped like (surprise!) eggs. Designed with all experience levels in mind, the plugs range in size from Extra Small (3.5″ long) to Extra Large (6.5″ long), with girths that expand with each size increase. I requested a Medium plug, which sports a total length of 5 inches and a 1.83-inch width.

(My Photo)

Right out of the package, the Medium Egg Plug is an eye-catching piece. The bronze silicone is a stunning bold color, a beautifully solid metallic shade with some very subtle whorls throughout the plug. This is probably the softest silicone piece I have ever held in my hands. While the plug itself has a nice dense feel to it, the silicone is so soft that you can easily squeeze it. It kind of feels like one of those squishy stress balls you can squeeze in your hand, so I couldn’t wait to get it inside me and see what it felt like when I clenched it with my anal muscles. To give you an idea of size and softness, here’s a SquarePegToys® video where the Medium plug is shown off.

The egg portion of the plug has a nice shape, with a perfectly rounded tip. The plug does narrow at the neck, but it’s still pretty dense. The base is thick with curved ends, allowing the plug to anchor between your ass cheeks. The bottom of the plug is totally flat. You wouldn’t think so, but the Egg Plug easily stands on its own, in spite of the soft material and the base’s relatively narrow width. All in all, it looks and feels great, but how does it feel when you put it inside your hole?

I was initially a little concerned about insertion. Because of the super-soft material and the rounded tip, I wasn’t sure how much of a hassle it would be to push it inside me. While Peepshow Toys is suggesting pairing up the Egg Plugs with The Butters oil-based lubricant, I stuck with my regular anal toy standby: water-based Sliquid Sassy lube. Since I received a lube shooter in the b-Vibe Anal Training Kit I recently reviewed, I used that to apply some extra lube inside my hole before I attempted to penetrate. I also put a generous quantity of Sliquid on the plug, all the way down to the bottom of the neck. I was honestly prepared to have insertion be difficult, but the Egg Plug — with a minimal amount of pressing from me — popped right in. Damn, what an amazing sensation!

(My Photo)

With penetration out of the way, the plug was seated and safely anchored between my cheeks. Because of the softness and flexibility of the silicone, the plug was incredibly comfortable, inside and out. I can’t say it gave me any acute jolts of prostate stimulation on its own (compared with a completely solid anal toy, like the stainless steel Njoy Pure Wand), but the feeling of fullness and the absolute comfort of the plug was its own unique sensation.

Clenching the Egg Plug felt great. Again, there wasn’t any intense grinding against my prostate, but the ongoing low-level pressure from this thing made for a more protracted anal session. And because the plugs are so soft and comfortable, these are perfect for those who want a long session. Not only is the plug itself easy on the ass, but the base has been so thoughtfully designed. There’s nothing worse than a hard, uncomfortable base annoying your crack, taint, and/or tailbone while you’re trying to get into a butt plug, but there’s none of that with this one. Comfortable, inside and out. The flattened base makes this plug ideal for those who want to sit on the plug (even on a hard surface), especially if you want to leave it in for awhile. It’s perfect if you’re looking for an extended-wear anal toy. It’s also very comfortable as an “up and around” toy, with no discomfort while walking while it’s in. I haven’t worked up to wearing it under clothing and leaving it in while out of the house, but I’m definitely going to be trying that soon.

In case you were wondering if there was any discomfort when removing the plug, it popped out (with a little puppy-with-a-toy tugging on my part) almost as easily as it went in. You may want to rub a little extra lubricant around the neck of the toy (and your hole) while removing it, if things feel a little tight. The softness of the silicone means the plug is kind of stretchy, so it may feel like it’s not coming out as easier as some of your more solid toys. Clean up couldn’t be easier. Soap and water as soon as you’re finished and let the plug air dry before storing. SquarePegToys® recommends storing these plugs in an upright position, due to the super-soft silicone, as imprints and creases could become permanent and distort the shape. Does your toy have a persistent odor after long-term use and won’t come clean with just soap and water? Read the helpful suggestions from SquarePegToys® on removing the odors that tend to occur with softer silicones like the material used in Egg Plugs.

I can’t wait to try one of the larger plugs in the collection. Now that I know how comfortable the Medium plug is, I am pretty eager to see how the Large or even Extra Large feels inside my ass. Does the size of the Medium feel a little daunting to you? There are actually two smaller ones you can start with. The Small measures a nice 4.5″ (1.67″ width) and the Extra Small is even more manageable, with a 3.5″ length (1.35″ width). Want to go bigger than the Medium? The biggest Egg Plug Peepshow stocks is the Extra Large, measuring 6.5″ in length (2.63″ width), with the Large plug measuring 5.5″ (2.07″). Does the Large plug appeal to you, but think you’d like something thicker? Your wishes are granted with the Large XL, which sports the Large plug’s 5.5″ length with a thicker (2.39″) width. Here’s an image of all the plugs from Peepshow Toys that shows their size relative to one another:

LELO F1s Developer’s Kit Red Vibrating Masturbator Review

NOTE: This review was originally released on June 22, 2020

(Manufacturer Photo)

Today I’m looking at an interesting cock toy from LELO: the F1s Developer’s Kit, which is a vibrating/sonic masturbator with a silicone sleeve. Peepshow Toys sent this kit to me, so let’s take a look and see what’s inside.

LELO is a Swedish sex toy company that’s been around since 2003. I haven’t reviewed anything from them lately, but they’ve been putting out some wonderful high tech anal toys for years, like the Bruno vibrating prostate massager and the Loki Wave, which not only rumbles, but delivers a “come hither” motion as it massages your P-spot. The F1s Developer’s Kit is LELO’s entry into the penis masturbator market and it certainly sounds interesting when you first hear about it.

WHAT’S IN THE KIT

Nicely packaged in a sleek red box, the kit contains the masturbator and a charging cord, a lube sample, a bottle of cleaner, drawstring storage pouch, and some odd items like racing gloves and a “Do Not Disturb” sign of sorts, which you’ll apparently want to hang from the doorknob if you’re going at it while others are around. Here’s a closer look at the toy itself.

Right away I can see it feels nice. It’s about the size and shape of a 12 ounce soda can. It’s smaller than I thought it would be, but it fits very comfortably in my hand. The case is the nicest one I’ve seen in any masturbator: made of hard, black aluminium. There’s a clear plastic “viewing window” that runs vertically along one side, and the top of the case (which is totally enclosed at the end) is flat, with one (no, make that three) control buttons and a white LED light that circles the top of the toy. There’s also a charging hole with a black silicone stopper.

The interior has an insertable depth of 4.33″ and contains a bright red silicone sleeve that’s ribbed with a subtle lined texture that runs vertically. The channel is triangular in shape, with knobs and nodules positioned under it at various intervals, most notably at the entrance and another one more deeply inside (and let’s face it, this thing ain’t that deep). The other smaller protrusions are 10 sensors that are designed to monitor the performance of the toy and alter its vibrations accordingly. It all sounds very high tech, and when you realize there is also a SDK (software developer’s kit) that can be used to create your own custom sensations with the F1s, you know you’re about to use something different than most masturbators. But don’t worry… even if you want to use this toy for basic masturbation, it works well for that, too.

BEFORE YOU USE THE F1s

Since it’s a vibrating sex toy, you’ll need to charge it up. Slide the included prong into the jack at the top and push the other end into a USB charging port. The LED ring at the top will come on and pulse as it charges. Once the light is solid all the way around, it’s ready to use.

Please familiarize yourself with the control methods before you get naked and start messing around with your new toy. The controls on the toy itself are simple, but it doesn’t necessarily make it easier to operate. For one thing, I didn’t even know there were two buttons on either side of the main Power button. Maybe we should consult the instructions first. My first gripe is with the included instructions. Look carefully. There’s a small paper “booklet” about the size of a book of postage stamps tucked somewhere in your kit. About the only thing on this leaflet that you can read without a magnifying glass is the LELO name and a URL to “Download Full User Manual Online.” There, I made it a link for you (it’s a PDF file), because these are the instructions you’re going to want to consult when trying to figure this kit out. Honestly, I prefer these kinds of downloadable instructions, because you don’t have to hang on to a bulky user’s guide. Just bookmark the file, or even download the PDF onto your device for future consultation.

Anyhow, press and hold the Power button in the center of the F1s and wait for the LED to come on. It’ll light up in intervals until it’s completely solid. Once that happens, give the button a second tap and the motor(s) inside will come to life. Use the + and – buttons on either side to cycle through the settings, which are steady vibrations of varying intensities. This mode of controlling your F1s is known as “Offline Mode.”

USING THE F1s WITH THE APP

Oh yay, there’s an app. With such a limited interface in Offline Mode, I was hopeful that the app would really open up the F1s as to what it could do. I searched for and downloaded the Lelo F1 Demo app from the Play Store onto my smartphone. You need to connect the device to your phone via Bluetooth before you can operate the toy with the app. I could not get the device to connect to the app. Other reviews on the app store showed similar problems. I deleted the app and installed it on an Android tablet. At last I was able to connect, but it still was a little shaky getting everything set up. Keep at it, because the app interface works a lot better at putting your F1s through its motions.

Once connected, the app interface looked like the dashboard of a race car, with several dials and needles. Wow, they’re really going with a theme here. How about making something less splashy and more user-friendly? Do I need to wear the included racing gloves to make the app work? I just want to jack off, man!

I don’t see anything on the app that allows for any variation from the steady vibes thing. You can crank each of the two motors up and down to a desired level, and this certainly is nice. I’m not sure how it works, but the aforementioned “10 sensors” under the sleeve detect what’s going on and switch things up. I know this (okay, I don’t really know this) because the readings on the app panel are zipping up and down. Here’s my advice: before putting your dick in this thing, put your fingers inside first. This will give you a better understanding of how the sensors and vibrators work. It really is a strange and interesting feeling. There are two separate vibes, and one of them utilizes something called SenSonic™ technology; basically, instead of standard vibrations, you’ll feel deep sonic waves penetrate into your penis, for a sensation that feels like stimulation is coming from different directions.

PUT YOUR DICK INSIDE THE SLEEVE

If you’re like me, at this point you’re just going to drizzle some lube into the channel and slide your dick inside. If your cock is thick/long at all, this could be a strenuous task. I’m not sure why companies insist on making totally enclosed masturbation sleeves, but this often creates an air lock when trying to shove something (like a cock) inside. Why not put in an air hole? Or, better yet, why not make both ends totally open, so cocks of all sizes and shapes can enter easily from either end? Long dicks can poke out, which is way better than trying to hammer oneself into a wall of air. Fleshlight has had great success with their open-ended Quickshot line because they work great with big dicks as well as smaller ones. And even their longer enclosed masturbators come equipped with a cap that can be loosened to remove the interior vacuum that makes it so damn difficult to penetrate. Even though I am on the long/thick side of average when it comes to cock length, I was still able to enjoy the F1s masturbator; it was just a bit of a struggle to wedge my way inside. (NOTE—AFTER REPEATED USES: I prefer to penetrate while my dick is soft or semi-hard. It makes sliding in easier and allows me to “grow” once I am already in there.)

The kit comes with a LELO lube sample so that’s what I used on my virgin try, but any of your favorite water-based lubes will work with this silicone sleeve. The company cautions against using silicone or oil-based lubes with the F1s, as they could leave the sleeve feeling permanently tacky. Give it a generous coating of lubricant and apply some more to your dick. If your dick has some thickness, you might have to push a little (or a lot) to work it inside and the extra lube will help. The sleeve and the underlying mechanics have some give to them, so this sleeve isn’t too tight to penetrate, however the previously-mentioned airlock issue could give thicker/longer cocks some hassle. Adding a lot of lube really does help with this, and —for me—it just felt better.

THE VIBES

The vibrations on this toy are pretty decent, which is no surprise, since LELO’s anal toys have top-of-the-line vibrators built in. If you’re using the app to control things, you’ll note that one dial controls the Main Motor and the other “Vibration.” Be sure to tap the Power icon on the app to activate the control panel on your device. +/- buttons for each function control the intensity. I liked (once I figured it out) that a quick tap of the Power icon would shut the toy off instantly. A great feature for those too-close-to-the-edge moments when you need to halt the stimulation immediately. As I mentioned before, the app controls are a lot easier to manage than the buttons on top, at least when you’re in the throes of a decent masturbation session and just want to reach out and touch your screen to switch things up (or Off). If you can figure out how to angle the case, by using the app to control the toy you can actually enjoy some pretty decent hands-free sessions. Just work your cock into the interior, power up the device, and use the app to ramp up the speed or power it on and off to control the surges. This is one of my favorite ways to use this LELO toy.

MORE ABOUT THE APP

Honestly, I don’t know much about the “developer” features, but it’ll be interesting to see what comes out in the future. As the only available app for this kit is a “Sample” app, you can’t really upload anyone else’s customized programming anyhow. Like I said before, it’s pretty limited in what it can do, in terms of versatile vibration. A sliding panel offers you access to readings like Speed, Main Motor/Vibration, Pressure, Temperature, Counter and Gyroscope measurements, but there isn’t any way I can see to switch any of these factors up manually during your masturbation session, at least by using the provided app. It’s more or less just giving you readings about what’s going on with the toy when your dick is inside it. Well, cool. But it just seems like a lot of bells and whistles that don’t really mean anything in terms of how you can use the data to customize your jack off time to make it even better. Here’s hoping some clever jacker with skills will actually use the SDK to design a downloadable app that really takes all of this technology to a new level.

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

Honestly, once you push your dick inside it, it’s pretty nice. I love frenulum stimulation, and one of the motors was pretty perfectly placed for this. Of course, I’d like it better if the vibrations had more versatility. Is there a way to switch to pulse patterns? I couldn’t find it on the app, and other than clicking the power on and off (which I already mention I love doing), I wasn’t able to find anything other than steady vibrations. Of course, the embedded sensors were causing things to happen under the silicone lining, and this feels great. The hard case vs. the softer/stretchier silicone makes for a nice grip on the outside, while the innards move with your dick.

Peepshow Toys notes in the listing at their online store: “This toy is not intended as a stroker. Its silicone sleeve is designed to remain stationary as the vibes travel through the user’s penis head and upper shaft.”

This is an important distinction; if you’re expecting something like a highly-textured Fleshlight stroker or another ribbed masturbation sleeve, you’re bound to be disappointed. That said, one of thing other things I enjoy doing with the F1s is slowly rotating it, allowing all sides of my dick to enjoy the vibrations and sonic waves, and the ability to position the buzzing motors directly on my sweet spot when I want to increase the pleasure.

This thing is waterproof as well, so try it out in the bath, pool, or shower. Be careful not to drop it, as the hard metal case could damage anything it strikes. Being waterproof makes it way easier to clean, as well. Rinse the lube and other fluids out of the inside after use with some warm water and then use the included cleaning spray to wash things out more thoroughly. As with any toy, allow it to dry completely before storing it. There’s a nice drawstring pouch you can keep the masturbator and the charging cord in, or simply place everything back in the box it came in. Even if you leave this thing sitting out on a table beside your bed, I don’t think anyone would suspect it’s a jack off toy unless they looked more closely at it. It almost appears to be a Bluetooth smart speaker of some sort, at first glance.

I think as far as vibrating penis masturbators go, I myself have more fun with something I can angle and move around, like the comfortable and buzzy Man Wand. Since that toy has nothing to slide your dick into, it’s more versatile and works easily with the softest of penises and the stiffest of erections, allowing the user to tease any part of the cock or balls. The enclosed channel of the LELO F1s means you can only stimulate what you can put inside, which really limits what it can do if you’ve got a big dick. That said, every time I try this thing, I can’t dislike it. In fact, it makes me cum so good I keep reaching for it time and again. So with that said, I’m pretty glad I got to try it out. And I’m really looking forward to the day when I search the app store and find a app developed by a user who has created new ways to take the LELO F1s masturbator to new heights of pleasure. Until then, I’ll just keep ramming my dick into it and blowing loads. Oh well! 😀

Boneyard Ultimate Silicone Cock Ring

NOTE: This review was originally released on October 28, 2020

I’m not sure why I love red cock rings so much, but I do. When Peepshow Toys contacted me about reviewing a new silicone cock ring from Boneyard, I eagerly said yes…and then asked if I could have a red one. It’s called the Ultimate Silicone Cock Ring and I love it already.

Silicone is a great material for cock rings. It’s soft, sometimes stretchy, but doesn’t easily tear and usually snaps back into its original shape once you pull it on over your cock and balls, so you typically get a very snug hold, which really works well for cock rings. Better/bigger/stiffer erections, and all that. There aren’t any weird odors with this material either, and it’s a great body-safe material. If you’re tired of your cheap rubber/elastomer rings tearing, snapping and breaking, try a silicone ring. Every silicone ring I’ve ever tried still looks as new as the day I first used them.

(Manufacturer Photo)

Like I mentioned, this Boneyard ring comes in a bright, bold red color, so already it has something going for it. Don’t prefer a red cock ring? It also comes in blue and basic black. Each ring measures 2 inches in diameter and has a thick, chunky look. The sides are somewhat flattened, which gives the ring a unique look and helps keep it from rolling while you’re wearing it, which means it won’t pinch or pull on skin or hair.

The ring’s inner opening is only 0.8” wide, which makes this one a little different. It’s snug. Like… super snug. Due to the thickness of the ring itself, once you pull this thing on, you’re going to experience quite a grip. Personally, I like a nice tight cock ring, assuming I can get it off and on without any trouble. I’ve mentioned in previous cock ring reviews/posts that I never wear solid metal rings because they are impossible to remove once my dick swells up. At least with a softer material (like silicone), you can normally stretch the thing enough to get it off in a, um, pinch. Worst case scenario, you have to cut it off. This Boneyard ring was pretty tight, but luckily I was able to get it off okay.

Because of the snugness—or maybe because of my big balls—I could not easily put on the Bonyard cock ring. It has some stretch, but with that tight inner hole, it just didn’t stretch as easily as some of my other silicone rings (which have larger inner openings). Peepshow Toys had also tossed a sample of Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle water-based lubricant in one of their shipments, and since it was at hand, I squirted out a dollop and lubed up the ring and my big nuts. The cock ring slipped on like a charm. See, there are a lot of good uses for a really good lube, so be sure and keep some handy!

Once I had the ring in place, it was wonderfully tight and very comfortable. I was worried that with such a little inner opening that the cock ring would be painfully uncomfortable, but it really wasn’t. The grip it provided was very intense, which was evidenced mainly by how thick, hard and swollen my cock was after just a few minutes. I seriously need to start a little “cock ring gallery” to show how well some of these cock rings work for me, but for now I’ll just tell you the Boneyard ring left me swollen, veiny, deep red, and extra sensitive. Of course, I was (a little) worried about how I was going to get this tight ring off when I was done, but I tried to push that thought aside and just enjoy the experience.

The thickness of the ring not only delivers a good grip at the base of your cock, but it gives your balls a little extra push forward. I also love the extra stimulation it gives to the spot where my cock meets the lower belly (not sure what this sensitive indentation is called, but I love using my fingers to manually stimulate this spot while jacking off/edging, and this cock ring does a good job of adding some extra pressure to this area. Just behind the balls, the ring will press on or near your Cowper’s gland, which may actually increase your precum flow (thanks to the guy who showed me this technique!).

All in all, masturbating while wearing this tight silicone ring felt great, and the orgasm I had was quite intense! I’m never sure if the cock ring is directly responsible for the resulting fireworks, or if wearing the ring just makes me enjoy longer, more sensual stroke sessions. Either way, I guess the ring plays a role. I know I definitely enjoy receiving head more when I’m wearing a favorite cock ring.

(Manufacturer Photo)

Once I finished my session, my dick was still swollen and thick. I had to relube my dick, balls, and the cock ring to get everything pushed back through. Thankfully, there were no troubles with removing the ring, though my balls didn’t quite slide through gracefully. I was just glad to get it off without too much effort. Luckily, the silicone cleans up easily with soap and water. Make sure to dry your cock ring completely before storing it.

In the end, I really enjoyed this new snug silicone cock ring. I don’t think I’ll use it for “everyday” use, but I love having it on hand for those times when I want a little more intense sensation and a firmer grip on my cock and balls. It definitely feels like all the benefits of a tight metal cock ring, without the risk of wearing something hard and solid. And the red color was really a great choice for me, and the chunkier-than-usual-band really makes this ring stand out.

Falcon Ninja Heating & Vibrating Masturbator

NOTE: This review was originally released on October 19, 2019

Something new and fun from Peepshow Toys, just in time for the onset of colder weather. Last season it was the Marley Warming Silicone Vibrator, a vibrating butt plug that heats your hole. This year it’s the Falcon Ninja Heating and Vibrating Masturbator, a silicone stroker from Icon Brands that – as the name suggests – not only vibrates, but uses heat to stimulate your cock. Let’s check this thing out.

In general there are two types of toys that fall under the category of “strokers” and those include long, fuckable masturbators that often replicate a certain body part (mouth, ass, pussy), sometimes with realistic orifices and deep textured insides…and smaller cup-style masturbators that are designed to stretch and stimulate various spots on a guy’s erect penis. The Falcon Ninja stroker isn’t like either of those toys, but something a little different. Billed as a “head polisher,” the Ninja consists of a hard handheld outer case that holds a not-so-deep pocket made of smooth red silicone. Under this layer of silicone lies the two components that work to pleasure the head of a guy’s cock: an 8-mode vibrator, and a 2-setting heating element that warms the silicone that surrounds the upper aspect of your penis.

The toy itself has the following measurements: the plastic case is about 5-inches long and runs about 3 inches in diameter. It has a rounded/egg-like shape and feels about the size of a mango in my hand. It’s easy to hold. The silicone portion of the toy has a depth of about 3 inches, and an inner diameter of around an inch-and-a-half. If you’re looking for a deep sleeve to stimulate your cock from tip to the base of the shaft, this toy isn’t going to work for you. In fact, as it’s touted as a head polisher, that’s how I’m going to promote it.

(Manufacturer Photo)

Since both of this toy’s features are power-driven, you’re probably wondering how exactly does it run. Instead of batteries, you can charge the Ninja with an included USB cable. Once the USB end is attached to a port or compatible charger, insert the metal pin on the other end into the jack at the top of the Ninja’s case. It’s protected with a tight silicone seal, which helps keep the electrical components from being damaged by water or other fluids during use or clean up. (Don’t use the toy while it’s connected to the charger or try to clean it with water during the charging process.) The charging process is pretty straightforward. Once connected, a blue light will gently pulse while the Ninja is powering up. Once it’s obtained a full charge, this light will turn solid blue. Now the Ninja is ready to use.

The controls are very discreet and it’ll take some hunting to locate them if you aren’t sure where they are. Two buttons are located on the middle seam of the black case, just below the charging port. The top button (marked M for Mode) controls the vibrations. Beneath that is a second button marked with a thermometer icon, which allows the user to cycle through the heat settings (Low, High, and Off). Though both the vibrator and the heat can be used together, I’ll take a look at each feature separately a little later in the review. But first let’s see how the Ninja works without any of the bells and whistles.

As you might have guessed from the aforementioned measurements, the sleeve of the Ninja isn’t that deep and not that wide. The toy is designed to please the glans or the uppermost reaches of a guy’s penis, and unless you have a very slender shaft, you won’t be getting much more than that into the inner confines of this thing. It’s a tight fit, especially if you have a thick or swollen head. While the material is a soft and pliable silicone, the internal components of the toy (the vibe, the heater) restrict just how much give the sleeve has. Icon Brands recommends lubricating the inside of the toy “for a more pleasurable experience.” Definitely. I’d recommend using your favorite water-based lube with this. Go ahead and coat the top of your penis, too. It’ll make wedging the knob into the depths of this thing a lot easier. It’s a tight fit (at least for me), but the lubrication does make penetration easier and allows for easier rotation. There isn’t any texture on the silicone, so if you need raised bumps or ridges to get you off, you’ll probably be disappointed. The real fun of the Ninja is the vibrations and the heating element, so let’s look at those now.

The vibrator is pretty straightforward and works similar to most vibrating toys. Press and hold the M button to turn on the vibrator. The first setting is a rumbly/steady low-speed vibrator. It’s really not a powerhouse vibrator, but it’s decent. I think if the inner fit wasn’t so tight, the vibes would be more intense. I tend to prefer a lighter touch when it comes to vibrations on the head of my cock, so the tightness of the sleeve pretty much restricts that. I much more prefer stimulation to my frenulum (located just under the head of my cock) but the sleeve needs to be just a little bit deeper to hit that spot in a way that feels great, at least for me. Still, the vibrations were pleasant. There are two steady vibration setting (low and high), and six interesting pulse patterns. There are the typical short bursts and revving patterns, and a couple new things I’ve never seen before (patterns that change from hard to slow, and a nice hard rev that seems to shift direction mid-pattern, teasing two different spots alternately). If the Ninja was simply a vibrating head teaser, I’d probably recommend you spend the extra money and go for the Cobra Libre, which has a much more sophisticated vibrator. But the Ninja has something that the Cobra Libre – or any other head teaser I’ve seen – doesn’t. A heater. And this, fellow masturbators, is the Ninja’s secret weapon.

Now the Ninja bills itself as an “oral simulator” right on the front of the package. For me personally, I really want a toy to be deeper, more flexible, and have some sort of stimulating texture to work as an oral simulator. Still, one of the best things about good head is sliding into a mouth that’s as hot as a furnace. Right? Could the Ninja’s heat feature do the trick?

To activate the heat, simply click and hold the other button. A red light comes on and starts to blink. This indicates the toy is heating and will keep the heat level on low, which Icon Brands lists as 35 degrees Celsius (which translates to 95 degrees Fahrenheit). Want things even warmer? Click the heat button again and the light turns red, sending the heater into High mode, which is listed as a temperature of 40 C/104 F. By using silicone for the sleeve, they’ve used a material that works well with heat, and boy does the heat feel great.

I’ll be honest, head teasers aren’t typically my thing. But with a little lubricant and the Ninja’s heat level set to high, slowly spinning this toy around my knob just about drove me over the edge. The heat was that good. I didn’t even need the vibration mode running, but I’ll admit that a session with the heat and vibrators doing there thing was undeniably pleasurable too. I think if Icon Brands released a version of this toy with a deeper sleeve and a little more wiggle room and used the same heating element on the head, they’d have a sex toy truly worthy of the “oral simulator” title. Guys who have big cocks and/or swollen heads might be frustrated at this toy’s tightness, but I think those who enjoy head stimulation and love heat on their knobs will really like the Ninja.

A few closing details: the splash-proof nature of the toy coupled with the enclosed silicone pocket make clean up easy. Be sure to dry the toy completely before storing. Icon Brands even includes a little cloth drawstring pouch. Nice! Double check to ensure the heat and vibrators are powered off before cleaning or storing. Press and hold either button to power that feature off. Lights off = power off.

Performance Silicone Anal Beads from Blush Novelties

NOTE: This review was originally released on March 19, 2019

I love anal beads. One of the first sex toys I can remember buying was a set of anal beads, and this was back in the day when beads were hard plastic, strung up on a knotted nylon cord with a plastic ring at the end of the string to keep them from disappearing up your ass. Things have changed for the better since that time. I’ve found some decent anal beads in recent months: the silicone Gemstones, which are semi-squishy silicone balls on a silicone-coated cord. They are great, but pretty pricey. One of my favorite companies — b-Vibe — put out an amazing set of vibrating anal beads, which I love, but that feels more like a unique bendy buttplug than a strand of flexible anal beads.

When offering me the Apex vibrating prostate massager to review, I had a conversation with Peepshow Toys about how Blush Novelties was really coming out with an impressive collection of new stuff, and asked had they seen Blush’s new Performance Advanced Silicone Anal Beads? They had, and were stocking them in their online store. So that’s how I came to receive a set to try out and review. Let’s take a look.

The Performance Advanced Silicone Anal Beads are made entirely of body-friendly silicone, and are available in two colors: blue and black. They are smooth, satiny, and odor free. The entire strand measures 16 inches (15 insertable), so I’d personally consider them “anal balls” rather than beads, but they aren’t too huge as anal toys go. The balls vary in size from just under one inch, to a max diameter of 1.5 inches. Each bead has a silky finish but is very hard to the touch. Squeezing the beads, you’ll notice how firm they are. Even when pushing firmly on them, there’s very little give. I actually think this is a good thing, because it means the beads have a solid feel inside you.

(Manufacturer Photo)

While I can appreciate the beads in different sizes, I’m curious why Blush chose to alternate smaller beads with larger ones, instead of placing them small to large in order of diameter. The nice thing about starting small and growing gradually larger is it allows users who are newer to anal play to increase the bead size incrementally. While a size difference of a little over a half inch doesn’t sound like much, to a newbie it can be a bit of a jump. Peepshow Toys also stocks another set of Blush Silicone Anal Beads that sports 10 beads in 5 different sizes. If you’re a beginner or want something a little smaller, this one might be a good trainer for the Advanced set of beads. At any rate, the smaller strand has beads that increase incrementally in size. But let’s get back to the Advanced set….

Between each bead is a narrow length of silicone cord, leaving about an inch gap between the bead that follows. I love that they did this! It allows the strand to bend and move more freely, and allows the beads to knock against each other or bang against the back-end of your hole when piled up inside you. You’ll note that each bead has a nice taper as it meets the cord. Blush had comfort in mind when designing these beads. No abrupt transitions as you push them in, or pull them out. The string ends with a 2-inch section of cord followed by a large round loop that will give the user something to hold onto and tug on, while keeping the beads from slipping up into the anal cavity out of reach.

Be sure to use lots of lube with these beads. While the surface is smooth, there can be a bit of grab – especially around the tender flesh of your hole – when pushing them in and pulling them out. I like Sliquid Sassy water-based lube when using silicone anal toys. You can lube the entire string at once, but I prefer to lube each bead individually as I go. I coat the first (smallest) one, and make sure I’ve lubricated my hole as well. The roundness of the bead makes for easy insertion and you’ll feel a delicious “pop” as it pushes you open and the hole closes around the back of the bead. The inch gap of cord really is noticeable here; it allows you to tug on the bead and bang it against the inside of your hole. I like to pop the beads in and out, repeatedly, so I’ll typically grease up the second (or third) one and work that inside, leaving the first bead as an anchor of sorts. Even though the third bead on the strand is one of the larger ones, I didn’t have any trouble pushing it in while it was properly lubed up. And I was re-thinking my initial disappointment about having some of the larger balls near the beginning of the toy, because they really feel noticeably better popping the hole open and knocking against the inside of anal opening. The cord is pretty slender and has a bit of elasticity to it, but it’s not so stretchy that you can’t get a good tug on it.

(Manufacturer Photo)

You don’t have to push all six of the beads inside to enjoy this toy, but it sure does feel great once you have them all worked in. The flexibility of the string means the beads will easily “pile up” inside your ass, and the firmness of the beads will give your prostate (if you have one) some delightful pressure right where you want it. Be sure to bear down on the beads and feel how intently they press into your P-spot. Honestly, I’ve never gotten a great prostate massage from this type of anal beads before, but these Blush beads are so solid that they work terrifically at kneading just the right spot. Plus it feels great when you gently pull on the cord and allow the beads to knock around inside your ass. Again, the flexible cord offers just enough slack to make this feel really wonderful.

In case you hadn’t heard this before, one of the most amazing features of (good) anal beads/balls is removing them at just the right time. Specifically, pulling them out at the moment of climax. If you’ve played with anal toys before, you probably have noticed how intense an orgasm can be when something stimulates your prostate while you’re climaxing. Anal beads take this feeling a step further. With a long strand of semi-large beads, you not only get something massaging your P-spot, but the sensation of the balls’ rounded curves bumping over this area as you pull them out. My own anal muscles clamp down quite hard during orgasm, so I can’t get the entire 6-ball strand yanked out in one deft pull, but a nice slow tug just as my orgasm starts to lift off makes for one of the best climaxes I’ve gotten from a sex toy. Not only was my orgasm more intense and prolonged, but it increased the output of my ejaculation as well. Considerably. And honestly, I couldn’t even tell that the beads were different sizes as they were popping back out during my wild protracted orgasm.

Another thing I have to mention: because these beads are made of silicone, you’ll be able to clean them up easily after use. Some hot water and soap, and they’re good to go once they’ve dried completely. You can’t say the same thing for strands of beads that are strung up on porous cords. So… if you’re looking for a good set of anal beads made of body-friendly silicone that are comfortable enough for easy insertion, but large enough (and firm enough!) for prostate stimulation and more intense orgasms, be sure to give these Advanced Silicone Anal Beads from Blush Novelties a try. Especially if you’ve had your eye on more expensive ($100+) silicone beads but weren’t sure you’d like them enough to justify the price. Blush Novelties has priced this set to be very affordable. Seriously, where can you get a decent silicone 16-inch anal toy for under $25? Peepshow Toys, that’s where. Thanks, Peepshow, for letting me try these out. You’ve just given me another sex toy to add to my Favorites list. Get your Advanced Silicone Anal Beads from Peepshow Toys today in blue or black:

Lux Active Vibrating Cock Rings

NOTE: This review was originally released on April 9 2024

(Manufacturer Photo)

Peepshow Toys asked if I’d be interested in reviewing one of the new Lux Active Vibrating Cock Rings that they’ve started to stock in their online store. I’m not a huge fan of cock rings with bells and whistles, but I agreed to check one out. To my surprise, the parcel from Peepshow contained not one but two of these vibrating rings. Let’s see what they can do.

The Circuit looks like what I expect a vibrating cock ring to look like. It’s got the circular cock ring itself, and the vibrator is totally encased in a silicone stick-out part that makes the device look kind of like one of those candy ring pops.

The Triad has a little more complex design: there are two rings, not one, and the vibrating part is actually a good sized bullet vibe that’s nestled in a silicone pocket at the top end of the smaller ring. Rings like this are meant to be worn around more than one part of the cock and balls. For instance, you could wrap the larger ring around your cock OR balls and use the other one as a shaft ring or a glans ring. How you position the device will determine what the bullet comes in contact with: be it your a part of the wearer’s body, and/or an erogenous zone of a partner who happens to press up against it during sex.

Both cock rings are from the Lux Active line of sex toys which is part of the larger collection from BMS Factory, which manufactures an assortment of vibrating toys as well as silicone dildos and other insertables.

THE TRIAD

(Manufacturer Photo)

For whatever reason, I decided to try the Triad with its extra ring first. Both rings are nicely packaged in sturdy boxes with see-thru panes that allow you to view what’s inside the box. I was super intrigued by the removable bullet, mostly because I like using these things for frenulum stimulation, so I figured if the ring didn’t do much for me, at least I’d have the option of teasing my sweet spot with the bullet vibe.

Since the Lux Active rings are powered, they have to be charged before use. The Triad has a USB type charging cable with two magnetic leads on the opposite end. Usually I think magnetic chargers work a lot easier, but this one did not want to stay connected. I think it was because the charging cord had been folded in the package and it was still pretty stiff after I uncoiled it and plugged it in. Finally I was able to make a connection, but the charging light on the ring was confusing for a little while. Normally, the lights on rechargeable sex toys will blink while charging and turn solid after a full charge is reached. With the Triad, the opposite is true. It showed a solid light right after connecting it to the magnetic cord, so I wrongly assumed the toy came pre-charged. Not so. The light actually stays solid while charging and will turn off once it reaches a full charge. Or if the metal contacts come loose, which mine did a few times while charging. Now that I know what’s what, I think a recharge will be a lot easier.

Once I finally found the ring charged up and ready to use, I popped the included remote control out of the package. Unlike the ring, the remote runs off a button cell battery, so no charging/recharging is necessary. Simply pull the little clear plastic tab out of the battery door to ensure the remote has power before using it with your ring. Mine, alas, had no power. Well that’s a big bummer. Who wants a remote that does not work right out of the box?

I was able to turn on and operate the Triad without the remote, so I decided just to use it manually for the first time before I tried to find a new battery. To turn on the bullet, press and hold the end of it where the two silver connections are located. Another light will turn on and you can actually cycle through the settings by pressing the button on the vibe.

For a cock ring, the vibe is really strong. The options aren’t too varied and include four steady settings (starting low and growing more intense with each successive click) and only three patterns:rapid tapping
revving from slow to fast (repeats indefinitely)
about 5 rapid taps followed by a long sustained steady vibe (repeats)

The vibe is not bad, but it seems like the most intense sensations come from the end of the bullet, not the mid-section where the silicone holster is more likely to press up against a clit, taint or other sensitive sex spot.

The silicone the Triad is made of is great and incredibly stretchy. My main complaint about cock rings (especially pricey ones) is that the material will be too solid to stretch around my cock and balls. No troubles with this one! It was super easy to stretch it into place, wearing the larger loop like a traditional cock ring (around both my cock and balls) and fitting the smaller one onto the base of my shaft. However, I found it felt even better to loop the larger part around just my balls and use the smaller one as a shaft ring. This shifted the position of the bullet, which had it resting right against the top of my balls. Now I like vibrations on my nuts, so wearing the Triad during a solo stroke session was very pleasurable. The vibes not only teased my balls but made my dick quiver nicely as well. By sliding the smaller ring up nearer to my glans, I was able to get some great stimulation on my frenulum, which I always love.

In its unstretched state, the smaller ring of the Triad is just under 1″ in diameter and the larger one is just over 1.25″ in width.

THE CIRCUIT

(Manufacturer Photo)

My initial disappointment on unboxing the smaller/simpler Circuit cock ring was that the silicone this toy’s made of is completely different from the Triad. The sole ring is fairly small (1.4″ diameter) and barely stretches at all. Now, it’s possible one could yank it open to fit it into more configurations, but at this price I wouldn’t recommend it. Once the ring tears or snaps, it’s not going to be of much use to you or anyone.

Like the Triad, the Circuit is rechargeable but unlike the Triad, the method is completely different. Instead of the magnetic piece that attaches directly to the side of the ring, the Circuit has a prong-type cord that can be pushed into a pinhole on the side of the toy. It’s pretty straightforward and honestly after the issues I had with the other ring’s magnetic set-up, I thought the pin method of charging was a lot easier.

The vibrator on the Circuit is completely embedded, so you won’t have the option of removing it for additional methods of stimulation, though you could hold the ring while it’s powered on and use it as a hand-held teasing device. The outer aspect of the vibe has a bit of a raised triangular piece that will make it easier to come into contact with a clit or other sensitive spot. The vibrations are exactly the same in this ring as they are in the other: 4 steady vibes and the aforementioned 3 patterns. You’ll have to turn on the vibe by pressing and holding the center of the ring’s top. A blue light turns on and—if you’re using the Circuit without the remote—simply keep clicking to cycle through the patterns. Press and hold to shut it down completely. Or (hopefully) use the included remote control to turn it on/off and change the settings.

Fortunately, the remote that came packaged with the Circuit turned on and worked fine. It’s a two button operation; one for power on/off and the larger button to work through the seven settings. Interestingly, the remote actually powered the Triad ring as well, so at least I was able to test that out without having to find a new battery (turns out it was just a dead battery; replacing it with a new one turned it right on). The remote does come in handy if you need to shut it off in a hurry. I honestly enjoyed a long hands-free frenulum teasing session with the Triad ring and used the remote a lot to shut things down before I hit the point of no return. I was pretty surprised that as a solo toy, the ring felt so good. It made me leak a ton of precum, which is a good sign that a toy is turning me on.

Since the Circuit ring wasn’t very stretchy, I personally had no option other than wearing it around my shaft. It actually felt pretty good, turning my dick into a quivering prong, and twisting the vibrating piece against my nuts made them feel just as good as the other one did.

After testing both rings more than once, I ended up preferring the stretchier Triad model over the tighter Circuit ring. I was able to get the Triad on/off way more easily and the more flexible material just made it more versatile. While both vibes put out a lot of power, I liked the larger bullet that comes with the Triad, mostly because it’s removable which allows for more options when using it to stimulate. It works great as a frenulum teaser (in or out of the ring) and someplace I have an anal toy or two with a pocket for a bullet vibe, so I am looking forward to seeing how this rechargeable bullet delivers when I use it that way. No reason not to use this thing in any way I can find to get me off!

While I wouldn’t recommend either ring as a first purchase if someone has never used a cock ring before, I’d suggest either one if you already know you love vibrating cock rings. Even though they have different vibes with different charging methods, both Lux Active cock rings put out a lot of power during use, which is what you want when you’re using one of these things.

If you’ve never tried a vibrating cock ring before but are curious, I might recommend trying one that’s a little less expensive at first, just to see if you (and your partner, if you’re wanting to use one during sex) get off on this type of thing before investing in the more pricey Lux Active rings. There’s a non-powered Double Lux Action Cock Ring that might be good for a first timer, and right now it costs less than $20.

If you’re cock ring shopping in general, be sure to browse the complete cock ring collection at Peepshow Toys, just to see what other options are available. For first time users, I’d definitely suggest something simpler and affordably priced, just to see if you like the feel of a ring wrapped around your cock and the way it makes you feel.

If you already know you’re ready to try the Lux Active rings, you can order either one using the following Peepshow Toys links:
