Njoy Pure Wand Guide: G-Spot and Prostate Fun

I was recently asked to contribute to a user guide for one of Njoy’s best sex toys: the double-ended Pure Wand. Phallophile Reviews has just published Njoy Pure Wand Techniques: Tips for G-Spot and Prostate Pleasure.

I reviewed the Pure Wand back in 2013 and added it to My Favorites at that time. Five years later, it’s still one of my favorite toys for concentrated prostate massage. While my original review touches on how to use the stainless steel wand to massage your P-Spot, putting together the Prostate Massage section of the guide was an opportunity to share more detailed techniques.

Beginners will really appreciate this primer. From choosing a good lube, to safety and comfort tips (it’s 1.5 pounds of medical grade stainless steel, after all), this is a comprehensive guide for everyone. New to prostate play? There’s even a link to a short video primer that will help you or your partner locate your prostate. Does your partner have a G-Spot? The front end of the guide contains everything you need to know about using your Pure Wand for G-Spot Massage. The Njoy Pure Wand is a truly versatile toy in that it can bring pleasure to just about any user.

Now go check out the guide!

Anal Training and Education Plug Set from b-Vibe

It seems like I’ve reviewed a lot of big and thick anal toys lately, but now it’s time to look at something that’s great for first timers. I’ve tried a lot of the b-Vibe anal toys in the past and there are good things to say about all of them. But even some of the smaller toys they sell can be daunting to those who’ve never put anything in their butt before, so now the company has put out a great boxed set for anal newbies. It’s called the b-Vibe Anal Training and Education Set, and it not only includes three high-quality silicone butt plugs, but an enema bulb, a lube shooter, and a nice illustrated guide book to anal play. Peepshow Toys is now stocking this kit and asked if I’d give it a look. Here are my thoughts.

The b-Vibe set comes nicely packaged in a fairly big box. The paperback booklet is resting on top of the other items, which are individually sealed in their own packaging. I’ll be looking at each component of the kit individually, so let’s start with the book.

THE BOOK

The b-Vibe Complete Guide to Anal Play is a 50-page book that will be a helpful primer for those who are interested in anal toys, but have never tried one. There’s a nice “Getting Started” section that gives basic information and answers your general questions about anal play. Then it explores the anatomy itself and includes anatomical diagrams to help any user find his or her way around the area. If you’ve got a prostate, you’ll appreciate the diagrams showing you just where to find it on yourself. Since prostate stimulation can bring great pleasure, you’ll want to study up on this section, because the included toys are each designed with prostate play in mind. The book goes on to talk about anal hygiene and explains how to use the included enema that’s in the kit. There’s a section on proper lubrication and instructions on using the lube launcher that comes in the box. I’ll be looking at each of these items more closely down below. Once you’ve learned how to clean and lubricate your hole, the book goes on to give tips for toy play, some information on anal sex (for those who are interested) and even has some good info on how to care for your butt after you’re finished playing. I think it’s great that b-Vibe included such an easy-to-understand guide with the kit. I think many users who are curious about anal activities might have certain hesitations about butthole play, but the guide book certainly covers just about any topic a newcomer might have questions about. The accompanying illustrations are helpful as well.

THE ENEMA BULB

The easiest way to get your ass clean for any kind of anal play is to wash out the area with warm water, and you can easily do that with the enema that b-Vibe has tucked into the kit. It’s been awhile since I’ve used a traditional bulb enema (I tend to use the larger silicone bag/hose/nozzle system I’ve attached to my shower), but this type of anal douche is really the easiest for first-timers to use. The bulb is made of a thick, sleek squishy material (not sure if it’s silicone or not, but it doesn’t have any funny odors) and is generously proportioned. The nozzle has just over two-and-a-half inches to insert in your butt and is made of hard plastic. It might be more comfortable if the material was flexible, but the tip really isn’t that thick so if you exercise care during insertion you should be fine.

To use, fill the bulb with warm (not hot) water from the tap. I found it was easier to remove the plastic tip while filling and gently squeeze the bulb, releasing as you hold the opening under the stream of water. This creates a vacuum and will allow the enema to fill more quickly. Once the bulb is full, carefully insert the short end of the nozzle into the bulb. Be sure to lubricate the entire length of the tip before attempting to insert it in your hole. The tip is fairly skinny (about the girth of a drinking straw), but the plastic won’t bend, so ease it inside gently. An unintentional jab from this thing will ruin your first anal experience quickly! Having trouble finding your hole with the tip? Since you’re doing a reach-around, it might be a challenge for newbies. Press the tip of your index finger (same hand that’s guiding the bulb) against the end of the nozzle tip and use your fingertip to find your anal opening. Once you feel it, gently push the enema forward and slowly ease the insertable portion of the nozzle up inside your hole. You don’t have to go all the way, but the deeper you can go, the better. Once you have the nozzle inside you, gently squeeze the water-filled bulb and force as much of the contents up inside you as can. Resist the urge to squeeze and release repeatedly. This enema doesn’t have a one-way valve on it, so if you release the bulb while it’s inserted, the (now-soiled) water will get pulled back into the enema bulb very easily, which will make this gadget way more difficult to clean when you’re done. It’s better to push as much water up inside your ass as you can force out with one protracted squeeze, then — with the bulb still depressed in your grip —ease the nozzle out. If you’ve filled the bulb fairly full, you should have plenty of water inside you at this point. Hold the water until you feel the urge to evacuate, then simply sit on the toilet and push it out. You might have to repeat the process a few times, until the water comes out fairly clean. Once you’re finished with the cleaning, you’re ready to lubricate.

THE LUBE SHOOTER

I’ve never actually owned a lube shooter, so I was pretty excited to finally try one. Since the number one rule of anal play is “Lube! Lube! Lube!,” the inclusion of a lubricant launcher is a nice extra. It’s basically a two-piece plastic syringe that allows you to easily put lubricant into your anus for toy play or anal sex. b-Vibe suggests inserting the shooter directly into the lube container, but I actually poured a small amount into a little plastic container and sucked it up into the launcher. With the small amount left in my cup, I generously lubricated the outer shell of the syringe and saved the rest to lubricate the toy I was using.

Once your lube shooter is loaded, you follow a procedure similar to that of the enema. Ease the tip of the shooter into your hole and gently slide the plunger down. The lube will be deposited inside your hole, so you won’t have to be constantly applying more lube to the toy, or use your fingers to work lube up inside your butt. What can I say? I loved this thing! I’m sorry I didn’t have one before now. I barely felt the syringe slide into my hole and it really kept everything nice and slippery for the whole session. Now that you’re lubed, you’re ready for your first toy.

THE SMALL PLUG

The smallest of the trio is just your basic buttplug. No vibe, no weighted balls, just a solid silicone toy with a nicely rounded tip and a gentle curved base to keep the plug anchored safely at your hole. At just under 4 inches long (3.4″ insertable), this might just be the smallest butt plug I’ve ever played with. But if you hold it next to your index finger, you’ll see why it’s the perfect size for both anal newbies and those who prefer small toys. It’s pretty much the exact same size as a forefinger. You might be curious about having your hole fingered, but you haven’t reached the point where you can actually do it. With a plug that’s an ideal size, you can easily see what all the fuss is about.

Even though you’ve already lubricated your hole with the lube shooter, you still need to apply some lubricant to the surface of the toy. Start at the tip and make sure the entire thing is coated, down the narrow neck just above the wide base. Find a comfortable position for your body and relax the muscles of your hole as much as you can. Gently press the Small plug’s rounded tip to your hole. It’s not a race, so take your time.

When starting out with any anal toy, I like to employ a slow poking motion with the tip. Rub it like a fingertip against your hole and — when you’re ready — slowly push the tip inside. Tickle the inner edge of the hole and ease the plug back out. Repeat the penetration, going slightly deeper each time you tease your hole with the plug. Don’t be afraid to use more lubricant if things feel tight. Take some deep relaxing breaths during penetration and allow your hole to relax a bit if things tense up. The fastest way to mess up an anal session is by taking things too quickly and causing the muscles in your ass to clench up and cause discomfort or pain. If you allow yourself to relax, you’ll gradually be able to ease more of the plug inside. This Small plug has a maximum width of one inch, so you’ll feel your hole stretched open a bit as the wide part of the toy opens you up. Then the hole will close up around the more narrow neck. Allow the base to rest in your crack. The plug is now all the way in.

Without a vibrator, the only stimulation from this Small plug is manual. You can either leave the plug seated in your hole and use your anal muscles to clench it, or — when you feel ready — slide it back out. While butt plugs aren’t typically used for thrusting, the size and shape of this one makes it fun for some in-and-out fun, if you’re looking to approximate the sensation of being fingered. I prefer to just leave the plug in and allow my ass to do the work. Depending on how deep inside your prostate is, you may or may not get some delicious sensations as the tip of the plug prods this sensitive P-spot. If the Small one doesn’t quite reach, there are still two larger plugs in the kit you can work your way up to.

THE MEDIUM PLUG

Compared with the Small plug, the next size up might be a little daunting to first timers. It’s a little bit longer (5.3″ total with 4.4″ insertable) and a bit thicker in the middle. The Small plug sports a max width of 1″ and the Medium’s maximum width is 1.4″. Like the Small plug, the Medium is made of soft silicone and has a nice solid feel to it. While you can use it without extra stimulation, b-Vibe has outfitted the middle plug with a rechargeable vibrator. As you might guess from their name, b-Vibe is known for their powerful vibrating toys. While this plug doesn’t come packed with all the bells and whistles of some of their bigger and badder vibrating toys, the buzz you can get from this starter plug is still pretty damn nice!

If you want to use the vibrator, you’ll need to charge it up before use. All of b-Vibe’s motorized toys are easily charged with a magnetic charger. Just click the magnets to the pair of metal leads on the base of the toy and connect the charging cord to a compatible USB port. The toy will start to pulse with a soft blue LED light as it powers up. There is an estimated two-hour charging time and the vibe should run for almost 90 minutes if it’s fully charged before use.

In addition to the large booklet in the kit, there’s also a nice user’s guide for each of the items in the box. Be sure to save this insert, because it explains how to charge the vibrating plug and offers instructions on how to power it up, cycle through the vibrator settings, turn it off, and lock the motor when not in use. There’s even a chart illustrating the waves of the vibrating patterns. This plug doesn’t include a remote like some of the more deluxe b-Vibe toys, and with single button operation (especially since the button is out of sight on the base when the plug is inserted), it could be a little tricky to learn how to operate it. I like to play around with vibrating toys before I put them in, so I can get a handle on how everything works before it’s inside me. Operating the vibe is really quite simple once you learn the ins and outs. Power it On, then use the button to click your way through the toy’s 6 different settings. I counted 4 different intensities on the solid vibes, and there are 5 patterns you can use to shake things up. I like that the lowest level is somewhat mild, so you can start out pretty tame and work your way up to the more intense settings.

The b-Vibe guide makes an interesting point about anal stimulation and that is it doesn’t have to involve penetration to feel nice. You can absolutely use this (or either of the other plugs) to externally stimulate your hole or the sensitive area around it before making the leap to penetration. This Medium plug is perfect for that. Go ahead and lube the toy and power it up. On its lowest setting, start to tease your hole and the area around it with just the tip of the plug. You can adjust the intensity up or down to your liking. Once you’re ready to penetrate, use the same technique as with the smaller plug. Lots of lube, and gently insert a little more of the plug at a time, until you take as much as you’re comfortable with. If you can take the whole thing, allow the base to rest against your ass. You can either use the plug without vibrations or play around with the motor to see how you like it.

If it’s prostate stimulation you’re after, this Medium plug should be long enough to reach. Explore both manual stimulation of the P-spot and try it with vibrations. As you can see from the above diagram, the little bullet vibe inside this toy isn’t directly in the tip, but the vibe should be strong enough to really make your prostate feel the sensations. Experiment with holding the plug in place, or gently thrusting it in and out of your hole, especially with the vibrator teasing you. Always remember to apply lots of lubricant during use, and don’t be afraid to slather on some more if removing the plug seems tricky.

THE LARGE PLUG

Are you ready to go even bigger? b-Vibe has included a third plug in the set for when you graduate from the vibrating plug. At first glance, this bigger of the trio doesn’t look too much longer than the one that comes before it, but there isn’t a thick base on the Large (the Medium’s base is bigger, to accommodate the workings of the vibrator). The Large has a total length of 5.4″ and inserts a total of 4.8 inches. The widest part of the plug is thicker, too, measuring 1.6″ before narrowing at the neck.

Even though the Medium plug comes outfitted with such a nice vibrator, I think the Large might be my favorite. Instead of a vibrator, b-Vibe has put a pair of weighted balls inside. Not only does this give the plug a great solid feel, but you can actually notice the balls tapping together inside. This gives the user some extra stimulation.

Same rules apply for insertion, especially since this plug is quite a bit bigger. Lube it generously and ease it in and out a little at a time. The embedded weights really do make this third plug more heavy and solid, so take extra care during penetration, because there isn’t any give like you’ll find in the smaller two plugs in the kit. b-Vibes has a popular line of Snug Plugs that each (with the exception of the smallest) have two weighted balls inside, so you’ll enjoy the same sensations that those plugs give, but in a more traditional butt plug shape. I like that they’ve given the weighted toy a more graduated shape, which I think is an easier fit for anal newbies. The neck on this version is a lot thicker, so you might want to upgrade to a Snug Plug if you prefer to have your hole more fully closed up during use.

One nice thing about the dual weights inside is that you can move around with the plug inserted and feel them tapping away. Lots of extra sensations if you’re up for this. It might take awhile to reach that point, but a lot of anal toy users enjoy nothing more than working in their favorite plug and moving about with it inside. Some will even wear the plug under the clothing and venture out into the great outdoors, a smile on their faces as the plug stimulates their hole and sends delicious sensations into the prostate. Obviously, this sort of thing might be a better activity for more advanced users, but it’s definitely something to work up to. Start with wearing the plug around the house and then, when you feel comfortable with the idea, a short excursion with the plug inside you might make for a fun adventure.

Even if you don’t ever reach the point where you want to wear the plug while up and about, the Large plug is still a great deal of fun. You can just as easily enjoy the sensations by working the plug into your hole and then employing a series of taps on the base. I personally like working it all the way in and then enjoying a protracted masturbation session, bearing down on the solid plug every time I feel myself nearing climax. For me, squeezing the plug during orgasm makes everything feel amazing! However you decide to use it, the weighted plug is a great addition to the kit, and gives you something to look forward to as you work you way through the butt plugs from smallest to largest.

I’d definitely recommend this anal kit to anyone who has been thinking about giving butt play a go and wasn’t quite sure what toys to start with. It’s a great way to start small and simple and ease into larger toys with more features (multi-function vibrator/weighted balls). The book gives lots of practical advise to anal newbies and the included enema and lube shooter can only help. Even experienced users will appreciate those extras. There’s even a zippered pouch to store the plugs in (don’t forget to the keep the charging cord with the Medium plug!). Even if you have already had fun with anal toys, this boxed set is a great idea for those who prefer toys on the smaller side.

Thanks to Peepshow Toys for sending this kit along for me to try out and review. Ready to try it for yourself? Grab one at Peepshow Toys using the following link:

Aneros Vice 2 Vibrating Prostate Massager

For over 15 years, Aneros has made a name for itself with an extensive line of popular prostate massagers. While most of their products are sleek, simple, and designed for manual P-spot stimulation, the company has really outdone itself with the unveiling of its newest pleasure product: the Vice 2 Vibrating Prostate Massager. This silicone toy has a dual motor, is rechargeable, and has a remote control (also rechargeable!) for easy wireless operation.

I’ve reviewed a few of the Aneros products for Peepshow Toys¹ and they asked if I’d like to try out this new one. Given the name, you might assume that there was an original Vice, and you’d be right. The original vibrating Aneros was actually a bigger, thicker toy (compared to their classic massagers), on par with the Progasm, their largest plastic unit. The original is made of silicone and outfitted with a hollow core into which a vibrating bullet would fit. There was a deVice, a solid silicone (non-vibrating) version, and picnow Vice 2, where they’ve taken everything good about the original and made it amazing. Let’s take a look.

Inside the package you’ll find the two main components: the massager and the remote. There are also two separate charging cables. The Vice 2 has an insertable length of 4.25 inches. Like the Progasm, the tip is bulbous and slightly angled to better reach and stimulate your prostate. The head has a max width of 1.3 inches. The shaft thickens in the middle and has a mid-range width of 1.3 inches before narrowing again as it reaches the base. The base is not only anal safe, but designed with two separate solid nubs that will apply external pressure to your perineum (taint) and another pressure point between the buttocks (not far from the tailbone). The base is wide (3.75 inches) and very solid, even though it’s coated in the same soft silicone.

Embedded in the base are the two things that make this second generation Vice so nice. There’s a control switch for the vibrators (yes, there are two of them), and a magnetic charging port which makes everything easy to recharge over and over. The original Vice had an insertable steel bullet vibe that ran off batteries which need to be replaced. Not only can you recharge the Vice 2, but there isn’t even a port for a charging cord, so the toy is completely sealed up in silicone. While Aneros doesn’t bill this model as “waterproof,” they do label it as “splashproof” and say you can even enjoy it in the shower. Before you use this, you’ll need to give the toy and the controller a full charge. As I mentioned, the toy has a magnetic charging port, so insert the appropriate cable into a compatible USB port and simply click the other end to the base of the toy. It’ll gently blink as it charges; once the light turns solid, it’s ready to use. The controller does have a mini USB port, so insert the smaller end into the base of the controller and the larger end into the USB port. Like the toy, the controller has a flashing light; once it’s solid, your controller is ready to be paired with the toy. I think this is the first toy I’ve used with a remote that doesn’t require batteries (and they’re always those weird flat type), so this is a great feature.

I’d recommend familiarizing yourself with the controls before inserting the toy. Once you get the hang of things, it’s pretty easy to use, but if you haven’t figured out how things work, it’s a lot more difficult to learn when the toy is wedged up your butt. You can cycle through the 18 vibrating settings using the button on the base of the toy, but using the remote control allows you to vary the intensity of each of the patterns (4 different levels). Plus the remote has an added feature: a joy button, which will send an added jolt of vibration into the toy as desired.

Now just because the Vice 2 has a killer vibe(s), doesn’t mean it won’t work wonderfully as a manual massager, too. This thing is the weightiest/most solid Aneros I’ve seen, so even without vibrations it still feels quite amazing. Like the coated Syn products, the silicone in this model is very smooth and supple. Its bulbous and slightly tilted head is designed to put pressure on the prostate and the chunkier neck will appeal to those who want something a little larger/thicker than most of the other Aneros models. The stationary Aneros I’d be most apt to compare the Vice 2 to is the larger Progasm, which was itself designed to appeal to those looking for a larger prostate massager. Aneros does have a solid silicone version of the original Vice — aptly called deVice — so the Vice 2 is pretty much a powered version of that. I personally prefer the softer, less pokey base on the Vice 2, compared with the trident-like ball points made of hard plastic that the similarly-sized Progasm has.

As a non-vibrating prostate massager, the Vice 2 works just as well as any of the others. The silicone — coupled with its nice curves — provides a smooth and comfortable insertion and the sleek material makes moving the toy (either by hand or by contracting your anal muscles for hands-free movement) a breeze. The larger size does make for a bit more filling sensation, but the Vice 2 still is pretty slender when compared with many butt plugs, dildos or other anal toys. I’m not sure if this would be the ideal Aneros model for an anal newbie looking for the most slender piece out there, but I think if you’re committed to using patience during your early uses, this toy is certainly doable for those who are considering other vibrating toys for prostate massage. As it’s the only vibrating Aneros in the collection, if you have your heart set on a powered Aneros, this is currently your only choice. If you’re still concerned about the thicker size, perhaps train your tight hole with something smaller, like the mini plugs that come with the Anal Training Plug Set I reviewed in May. Something like this can help ease you into a larger prostate massager like the Vice 2.

The real reason most will consider the Vice 2 is the vibrator, and it’s an excellent one! Comprised of two separate vibes, the Vice 2 can be a powerhouse if you want it to be, but what I enjoyed were the lighter, more delicate settings. While I like strong, driving vibrations at times, too many anal toys I’ve tried don’t have much variation. A powerful vibrator often means the toys just has different levels of intense stimulation, and you can’t dial it back for something a little more subtle. The lighter settings are a delicious tickle, offering sensual teasing that can easily be increased when needed. Like it harder? You can quickly bring the vibrations up through four different levels, each one more powerful than the last. The top motor buzzes the knob for some wonderful direct prostate stimulation, while the lower motor rumbles the shaft and (very effectively) the base. Suddenly your Aneros pressure point tabs are quivering with sensation, giving you some great external massage in addition to what it’s doing to your prostate and sensitive hole.

It’s a little tricky to get the hang of the vibrators and how they work. You can use the toy without the remote, utilizing the click button on the base of the massager. Click the button once to power it on. Each additional click moves the vibrator through each of its 18 settings. Aneros has really outdone themselves with the vibrators. Not only are the “basic” settings very pleasurable, but they’ve created settings where the user will be blown away by both vibes working in tandem. I’ve never seen a toy with quite a setup as the Vice 2 has. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, especially if you are prone to early/unexpected climaxes when things get too excitable. Thankfully, the wireless handheld remote makes controlling the toy a lot easier.

The remote is a couple inches long and has a comfortable teardrop shape, which makes it very easy to hold. Aneros has coated the remote in silicone, too, which will help make it easier to wipe clean if you get lube (or other fluids) on it during your play session. You’ll notice 3 round buttons on the panel and a red LED display to help you keep track of which settings you’re using (easier to remember which ones are your favorites!). You’ll have to manually activate the toy with the button on the base (wait for the burst of power) before using the remote. Once the toy is powered up, you can turn on the remote with the larger Power button. Be sure to consult your included instruction booklet for helpful tips on working the vibe with the remote. Again, I’d suggest holding the toy in your hand while you’re learning the ropes, because the combinations (“72 sensory experiences” is how Aneros touts the varied vibrating options) are a little intricate until you get comfortable with how everything works. Just for comparison, the original Vice only had 3 patterns and 3 intensities, and it had to be controlled by the button on the base of the bullet that was inside the toy. For a few bucks more, the Vice 2 just blows the earlier version away!

Once you’ve got the hang of how the Vice 2 can be controlled, kick back and blow your mind with what this thing can do. Not only can you enjoy the manual prostate stimulation that you can get from any of the Aneros models, but the vibrators will give this toy a whole new experience. When using an Aneros myself, I typically lie on my back and keep my legs spread, using my anal muscles for movement as much as possible. [Be sure to consult my Aneros Tutorials page for helpful links about getting the most out of one of these prostate massagers.] Since the base is narrow with a flat bottom and rests pretty comfortably between your crack, you can even venture some seated play with this one. Aneros even recommends this model for “wearing out.” Get it comfortably seated in your hole before getting dressed and then enjoy the sensations of walking around with a prostate massager lodged in your butt. I’d probably try this out at home before venturing into public, especially if you’re going to flip the vibrator on. If you can handle it, I’d imagine handing the remote control over to a partner would be a blast. Even if you don’t wear this thing out, the Vice 2 was certainly designed for couples play. Whether you utilize it for strict prostate massage, or add that to foreplay, oral sex, partner sex, or even a warm-up to other kinds of anal play, the Vice 2 makes for a great addition to your toy collection.

However you use it, the Vice 2 really delivers, whether it’s strong intense vibrations or a delicate stroking to make you squirm in delight. With so many combinations, every user is sure to find a handful of favorite settings. Another great feature I want to point out: the remote has a Joy Button. Unless you know it’s there, you might otherwise be totally unaware of it. Hidden away at the front tip of the controller, the Joy Button is a way to increase the current vibrations even more. Touch sensitive, this button can give the toy’s user a power boost or slightly increase the sensations depending on how hard it’s pressed. This actually works really well, especially if you are gently rubbing the Joy Button and feel the corresponding strokes pulsing through your hole. It’s a really great feature, so please be aware of it. Again, play around with all of the settings before inserting the massager, that way you’ll have a better handle on what this thing can do. Compared with the original Vice, Aneros has really raised the bar with the Vice 2. Absolutely amazing! And yes, I’ve already added this one to my Favorites.

Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy Thrusting Dildo

Today I am reviewing a silicone thrusting dildo for Peepshow Toys. The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy is one of the Velvet company’s handheld powered dildos. As the name might suggest, it’s a smaller toy compared to some of the others in their collection.

I’ve often wondered what a fuck machine would feel like, but those units are typically heavy, bulky, and quite expensive. The Velvet company saw a need for something lighter and more portable, something that could be held in your hand. If you enjoy thrusting action but wanted something to use during solo play, the Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy might be just up your alley. Peepshow Toys also stocks one of the larger thrusting dildos from this company — the 11-inch (6.5″ insertable) Jackie — and though I didn’t try the bigger one, I’ll be mentioning it in this post for comparative purposes.

The “Mini” Thruster was offered for those who wanted a bit smaller dildo. While the entire toy has a length of 9 inches, the insertable portion of the dildo is 5 inches. The thrust length is 2.5 inches, and the shaft has a width of 1.5 inches. The dildo is phallic in shape and pretty realistic (at least in design). The head has the shape of a circumcised penis and is made of firm but somewhat squeezable silicone. The glans are nicely defined and under the ridge is a veined shaft (the upper aspect) with a fairly smooth underside, save for a wonderfully-raised cord that runs the length of the shaft. The insertable shaft portion widens a bit at a curved base and the mechanical portion of the toy begins. There are five compressed ridges that expand like an accordion as soon as the dildo is powered up. This allows the toy to move up and down in the thrusting action that gives it its name. At the very bottom of the toy is an even wider base that is hard and somewhat donut shaped. Under this is a soft suction cup that allows the user to mount the Velvet Thruster to a smooth surface, like a wall or floor. As of this writing, the Mini Thruster is the only dildo from this line which has a suction cup.

The base of the toy has 3 buttons as well as a sealed port for charging. Unlike a small USB charging cord, this Velvet Thruster comes with a larger cord that plugs directly into a wall outlet. Charging is straightforward: pop the seal off the port (located below the power button), insert the metal prong, and plug the cord into an electrical outlet. When charging the Teddy, just watch for the red light on the charging pack to turn green. Simple, right? Once it’s ready, unplug the cord and the prong and reseal the charging port. The Mini Thruster is now ready to use. A fully charged battery should give you up to 2 hours of operating time. (NOTE: the unit works while plugged in and charging, as well.)

Obviously, you can use the dildo without any powered movement if you choose, and it actually might be a good idea to use it manually first so you can get acquainted with it before turning the thruster on. The toy is super solid, so be sure to use plenty of water-based lube. The Velvet company touts a flexible shaft, bending “up to 30 degrees,” but I found that it really only moves significantly when the toy is in the fully extended position, so if you’re wanting the shaft to bend at all, power it up and get it to come to a stop with the expandable bellows fully extended. Once it’s in this position you’ll see that the shaft (or most of it) does indeed bend slightly. Since the entire toy is covered in silicone and since it’s completely sealed, you could take the thing all the way down to the donut-shaped bulge at the base. I personally only used the narrower upper portion of the dildo, so the bellows would be free to expand and contract while the toy was turned on. Having not tried to go deeper, I can’t really comment on how that works. Just take care in using this thing, no matter how deep you desire to take it. On its fastest setting, the Teddy can reach a speed of 120 thrusts per minute, so you definitely want to be careful as your body acclimates to the unique sensation this toy can provide.

When you’re ready to get fucked, use the power button just above the charging port to start the thrusting motion. The Teddy starts up on the slowest setting, and can be powered up to one of the faster level by clicking the + button on the opposite side of the toy. There’s a – button, too, so you can easily change the thrusting speed. Once it’s moving, a press of the power button will quickly slow the thrusts before the toy comes to a stop completely.

Even after figuring out how it works, I still like to start with the toy outside of my hole, making sure the speed is set to the lowest position before easing the pistoning head toward my ass. Gradually, I penetrate myself until more and more of the Teddy is thrusting in and out of me. How does it feel? Pretty fantastic! While the dildo on this thing isn’t as massive as some I’ve seen on the larger “fuck machines,” the smaller Teddy is perfect for me. It works perfectly at thrusting in and out of my hole and — with an insertable length of 5 inches — reaches just deep enough to pound away at my P-spot. If a good fuck really makes your prostate throb, the thrusting Teddy might be just what you’re looking for. For comparison, the larger “Jackie” model is a little longer and has a bit more thrust depth.

The Teddy is the only unit from Velvet with a suction cup and that’s a bummer, because the suction cup base really makes this toy more versatile. While I prefer to lie on my back and hold the thicker base in my hand while the top part of the toy thrusts away, it was pretty wild to mount the dildo to the wall and back myself onto it. I’m not a huge fan of mounted sex toys, but once I figured out where to stick it and found a comfortable position to crouch in, it really was an amazing sensation. The suction cup works equally well on a smooth floor or other surface, but take care to find something comfortable because you’re going to want to hold that position for as long as possible while enjoying the thrusting the Teddy delivers. I was even able to stick the base to a large plastic tote and position it between my spread legs while kicking back. I wish the Teddy was a bit more flexible when using the suction cup. No matter which surface I affixed it to, any attempt to angle the toy caused the Teddy’s suction cup to detach, so it was easier for me to just hold it, so I could adjust the angle as desired. Whether you hold the toy in your grasp or mount it to a stable surface, make sure the toy can thrust. I noticed while holding it, I had to apply quite a bit of forward pressure to have my hole take the brunt of the thrusting. Held too loosely and the back end of the toy was moving while the dildo portion just kind of sat in my hole. This is a different sort of toy, so it takes a little experimenting to find a way to get the best results.

When you’re finished, the Teddy is easy to clean. The entire thing is encased in silicone and splash-proof. Make sure the charging port is sealed and power the Thruster until it’s all the way extended before washing it up. This will allow you to clean inside the grooves of the bellows. Be sure to let the toy dry completely before storing it.

Once you get the hang of it, the Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy is a nice little compact fucking machine, small enough to tuck it away between uses and hold it in your hand while you’re enjoying it, light enough to travel with it (and hold it in your hand while using it!), and powerful enough to deliver some decent thrusting motion, whether you like it slow or fast (up to 2 thrusts per second). Here are a couple animations I made of the Teddy in its slowest speed and its fastest.

b-Vibe Vibrating Snug Plug XL

This review is the first of three for Peepshow Toys in a series I’ve been thinking of as “Big, Bigger, and Biggest.” After testing some anal toys on the smaller end of the scale (like the Mini Teddy, the Aneros Vice 2, and b-Vibe Anal Training Plug Set), I’m now venturing into some bigger anal toys that Peepshow Toys has recently added to their collection. The “Bigger” and “Biggest” entries are forthcoming; today I’ll be looking at the “Big” one: the b-Vibe Vibrating Snug Plug XL.

If you’ve read any of my past reviews for b-Vibe products, you might remember I’ve already reviewed (and added to my Favorites) one of b-Vibe’s Snug Plugs. The original Snug Plug line features weighted silicone plugs in a torpedo shape and filled with a set¹ of steel balls that not only provide the weight, but bring about some interesting sensations when the balls click together when the plug is being worn. I tried the Medium Plug in this incarnation, so I decided to “Go Large” when I was offered one of the Vibrating Snug Plugs to review. Peepshow Toys stocks both available sizes: Medium and Extra Large. While I only tested the bigger one, I’ll be offering details about both plugs, so that those who are looking for smaller anal toys can consider this option.

Visually, the Vibrating Snug Plug XL looks almost identical to the weighted Snug Plug 4. The dimensions are slightly different: the non-vibrating version has an insertable length of 5.2 inches (13.3 cm) and a maximum diameter of 1.7 inches (4.4 cm). The neck is 1.3 inches long (3.2 cm) and has a diameter of 0.4 inch (1 cm). Comparatively, the Vibrating Snug Plug XL has an insertable length of 5.3 inches (13.6 cm), a maximum diameter of 1.7 inches (4.3 cm), a neck length that’s approximately 2 inches (5.08 cm) and diameter of 0.4 inch (1 cm). Both plugs are fairly heavy; the non-vibrating one weighs in at 257 grams, and the vibrating version isn’t far behind with a weight of 247 grams. Unlike the non-powered plug’s set of steel balls, the vibrating plug features a single large embedded bullet. See the following diagrams for full dimensions and internal features.

It should be noted that both the Medium and XL Vibrating Snug Plugs — like all the b-Vibe toys — are crafted from body-friendly silicone, so these are built to last and have no unseemly odors (which typically come from weird chemicals). The silicone makes the plugs easy to clean and splash-proof. Since both sizes have vibrators, the base of each plug has a magnetic charging port. When your plug needs a recharge, it’s easy to hook the cable into any USB port and click the charger directly to the magnetic base. The light pulses while it’s charging and when it turns steady, the toy is fully charged.

Operating the internal bullet is fairly easy, but because the sole control button is embedded in the base of the toy, I recommend playing around with the plug before you insert it, so you can familiarize yourself with the various speeds and patterns and how you switch them up. The operation is pretty straightforward: click the control button once and the vibe comes to life. Like most vibrating toys, the Snug Plug starts off on the lowest steady vibration setting. There are four different levels of power, each one more intense than the last. Like the other b-Vibe powered sex toys that I’ve tried, this plug is packed with a pretty strong vibrator. Even the lower settings are going to buzz nicely. Let’s talk about the shape of the Snug Plugs for a minute.

Each of the Snug Plugs — whether powered or not — sports a torpedo-like shape. The tip is somewhat rounded, then widens quickly, creating a tip that is kind of blunt. The plug quickly reaches its maximum width and stays wide. In the case of the XL Vibrating Snug Plug, this wide shaft continues for about 2 inches before the plug drops into another angled end which mimics the tip. This slope drops into the skinny, flexible neck, which gives the plug about two inches of slack to send the business end of the toy a little deeper up the ass, before the curved anal-safe base comes to rest on either side of your hole. The slim neck allows for your hole to close almost all the way, making the plug very comfortable in this region while you’re wearing it. If you enjoy getting a plug all the way in and keeping it in, this Snug Plug works quite well in that regard, even if you opt not to have the vibrator running.

The bulk of the plug — due to its girth and solidness — creates a nice full sensation and the fact that it has no give, really puts some extra pressure right where you want it (assuming you want it to press into your prostate). The larger, longer plug hits mine better than the non-vibrating Snug Plug 2 that I reviewed previously, but of course you’re dealing with a plug that’s quite a bit thicker and somewhat longer. The extra girth makes it a little more difficult to work inside my hole, and the blunt-style tip means it takes a lot more patience and effort to comfortably insert it, when compared with other b-Vibe plugs (like the Rimming Plug, the Trio Plug, or any of the smaller/slender plugs available in the Anal Training Kit). The bulk of the solid plug also means it’s a hole stretcher, at least in the case of the XL version, but once the toy moves beyond the hole, it certainly feels quite comfortable, given that the solid portion is doing a number a little bit deeper. For both insertion and for long-term wear, be sure to use plenty of lube. That is, tons! The lube shooter that comes inside the b-Vibe Anal Training Kit is perfect for pre-lubing a hole that’s about to take a larger/more solid butt toy, and it’s a great implement to have on hand when you’re ready to pop the toy back out, just to make sure everything is nice and slippery when you’re about to pull pull pull. Again, the girthy part of the toy will probably stretch tighter holes, but the extra lube will really help. Be sure to have a good grasp on the base during removal; the weight of this thing makes it easy to go flying once it pops free and you don’t want to damage anything once it pops loose. ? The anchor-like base comes in handy if you set the toy down on a smooth, flat surface; it keeps it from rolling away and possibly falling.

Let’s go back to when the toy was still inside and talk about that vibrator. Even though it’s just a sole bullet (I’m basing this on the diagram b-Vibe provides), it still puts out a decent amount of stimulation, especially when you compare this one with some of the multi-vibed powerhouses that b-Vibe has put out (like my fave 3-bullet anal beads). The steady vibes — especially on the higher settings — really get a P-spot a’janglin’. The whole torpedo buzzes with sensation and it feels really great. Even the neck and the base quiver nicely. There are six pulse patterns and these feel pretty amazing as well:

  1. a slow steady pulsing
  2. a faster steady pulsing
  3. a circular revving from hard to harder
  4. a longer steady revving from slow to harder and back again (and again)
  5. a hard steady revving that has uneven stronger pulsations
  6. an erratic pattern of fast/slow pulses and steady vibes. Great for those who want a little of everything; just lie back and enjoy it!

As good as the vibes feel with this chunky plug resting in the prostate gland region, the vibrations can turn insertions (and withdrawal for that matter) into an entirely different experience. The rounded tip pressed hard into your spreading hole feels even better when the vibrator is running and having your hole stretched wide and holding the plug in place (it’s a little difficult when there’s lots of lube involved) while the motor pulses away will really make things feel interesting. Damned if I didn’t almost cum before the plug was even inside me.

If this XL version of the Vibrating Snug Plug seems a little too intense for your liking or personal experience level, not to worry. Peepshow Toys is also stocking a smaller version of this toy: The Vibrating Snug Plug Medium. While I didn’t test this smaller version, it has a similar size to the non-vibrating Snug Plug 2 that I did try (and loved!) in 2017. With an insertable length of 4.3 inches (11.1 cm) and a more manageable diameter of 1.2 inches (3 cm), this smaller version might be more to your liking. Of course the smaller Vibrating Snug Plug isn’t quite as heavy as the XL version (112 grams vs. 247 grams), but these are still nice solid plugs, with the same 4 vibration levels and 6 vibration patterns as the XL has. Here’s a side by side comparison of the Medium Vibrating Plug and the (non-vibrating) Snug Plug 2:

I’d definitely recommend the vibrating variation of the Snug Plug to anyone who loves the feeling of fullness from a nice solid plug and wants to add some power to the experience. The flexible neck allows for added comfort and this makes extended wear way more easy to handle. I’m not sure the Vibrating Snug Plug XL will replace the Petite Rimming Plug or the Cinco Anal Beads as my favorite b-Vibe vibrating toy, but I’m certainly glad I went with the XL version of this toy for those times when I want my hole stretched, my hole filled, and my hole and prostate pleasured with vibration. The link below has Vibrating Snug Plugs in either size, so you can go with the one that feels best for you. Following that, I’ll also include links to the non-vibrating versions of each plug and my review for the smaller of the two. Ready to pick one up? Find them at Peepshow Toys:

Bathmate Hydromax Penis Pump

I’ve wanted to try a Bathmate penis pump for awhile and now Peepshow Toys is finally giving me the chance! This week I’m looking at one of the Hydromax pumps, which are penis pumps that not only utilize water, but are designed to be used in the bath or shower. Let’s take a look at this thing. Available in three different sizes, Peepshow Toys sent me the mid-range version — the Hydromax7 — which is designed to accommodate a penis with an erect length between 5 and 7 inches.

There are two other models: the Hydromax5 (for those erections measuring up to 5 inches) and the Hydromax9 (accommodates a cock from 7 to 9 inches when erect).

Right out of the package I could tell the Bathmate pump wasn’t like other penis pumps I’ve tried. It’s entirely manually operated, but there is no attached pump or hose. The actual pumping is done by a bellows that is affixed to the bottom of the pump cylinder. This part of the pump actually has two separate components: the black squeezable bellows and a lighter colored “comfort insert” that pops inside this piece and helps obtain a better airtight seal during use. While I have never used one of the original Bathmate models, I understand that the comfort insert is a new upgrade for the Hydromax pumps, which also have been outfitted with a redesigned valve cap at the top of the pump for improved performance. The pump cylinder is made of hard, clear plastic that is completely transparent, so you’ll get a good look at your dick while using your Bathmate. In addition to the clear version, Peepshow Toys is also stocking the Hydromax7 in a nice light blue version (also transparent), so take your pick. If all your other penis pumps are clear, the blue might be a nice way to find the Bathmate quickly. Regardless of color, the Bathmate pump feels good and sturdy, unlike many cheaper pumps that aren’t really designed for long-term use.

As the name would suggest, the Bathmate pumps are to be used with water while bathing or showering. I first tried mine in the tub (while standing up), but had a better experience using it while showering. Even though the method for pumping with this thing is quite different than any other pump I’ve tried, it still was a pretty straightforward process. Luckily, there’s a comprehensive user’s guide included, complete with easy-to-understand diagrams. Remove the comfort insert from the bellows and fill the cylinder completely with water. Be sure to click the little black pip at the top of the pump either to the left or right while filling. Once filled, ease the comfort insert back into the pump and slide your penis inside, pressing the padded ridge of the comfort insert firmly against the skin of your lower belly and ball sac (Bathmate cautions to make sure “your testicles are well clear”). The comfort insert is actually angled on one side, so you can either position the sloped portion against your balls, or spin the pump 180 degrees and angle this part against your lower belly. It’s all about comfort. (NOTE: the cylinder is labeled with a measurement gauge that runs in a vertical direction. If you choose to position the comfort insert the opposite way, you can easily twist the clear tube so the measurement reading is visible in this new position.) Once you have the pump pressed firmly against your body, use a finger to work the black pip back into the center position, which will allow water from inside the device to be expelled during pumping.

To pump, you’ll pull down on the Bathmate and compress the bellows. Water will be blown out of the top of the pump (make sure it’s not going to overshoot the tub and soak your floor!) and you will soon feel the vacuum working on your cock. Without a traditional squeeze bulb or handle to create the vacuum, those with weakness in their hands might have an issue working the Bathmate pumps.¹ If you’re having trouble getting an airtight seal, you might also have to trim some body hair around the root of your cock or around the place where the pump ridge presses against your body. You’ll definitely know if the pump is working because you can feel the vacuum create suction on your cock almost instantly. For comparison’s sake, it should be noted that the pumps in the Hydromax series deliver 35% more pumping power than the original Hydro pump.² Bathmate recommends no more than 15 minutes a day with your pump, and suggests three 5-minute sessions. I found that this plan worked quite well for me, because it gave me time to examine the effects the pumping was having on my dick before continuing.

So how did it work? I’m surprised to say I was very impressed with the (short term) results! While I enjoy using more traditional penis pumps to help extend my cock length and thicken my head and shaft (while inside the pump, that is), the Bathmate had a different result for me. While my erect cock stands about 7 inches and has a nice thickness, my flaccid penis has never been that impressive in comparison. I found that after using the Bathmate, my flaccid penis looked much thicker, longer and fuller. After the first five minute session, my penis slid much more easily into the Bathmate for the subsequent two pump sessions. While I honestly didn’t notice any permanent gains during the five days that I used the Bathmate, I was completely happy with how my penis looked when it came out of the pump. Since it’s so easy to use while showering, I can’t wait to try it for a bit of pre-sex pumping, just to give my soft dick a little visual boost without having to strap on a cock ring like I usually do. It was definitely fun to pump before masturbating, though I have to say I’m probably not going to take an extra shower every time I want to jack off. The “water” element of the Bathmate might make pump sessions a bit of a hassle for some users, but if you’re looking for a solid pump to use on a regular basis, having one that you can leave on while cleaning up in the shower might be just what you’re looking for.

Another thing I noticed about the Hydromax7 is that the pumping action itself is fairly comfortable compared to some of the other “heavy duty” pumps I’ve used. You can definitely feel (and see) the vacuum doing what it does, but I didn’t feel the need to use the quick release function on the pump at any time during my sessions, as I often do while pumping with other devices. It was nice not to have a bruised dick or puffy rings around my cock when I was finished as well, but that probably has more to do with the short 5-minute sessions than anything else. My dick definitely looked thicker and more engorged, though, which is more than I could have hoped for. I’ll be sure to update the review to document any long-term changes I notice while using the Hydromax on a regular basis.

If you like to monitor your progress during the pumping itself, the measurement guide that runs along the top of the Hydromax7 pump starts at 4 inches and runs to just above 7. Metric measurements run along the other side. The solid black bellows comprise the bottom inches of the pump and not being able to see the lower portion of your cock while you’re pumping might disappoint some users, especially if you’re used to pumps that are clear from base to tip. It was also a little strange not to have some kind of pressure monitor on the pump to make sure things are not getting too intense inside, but it really didn’t feel like I was overdoing it at any time, despite the sensation of constant pressure on my dick. If things do start to feel uncomfortable — either the pressure feels too great, you’re feeling discomfort, or your cock needs to be adjusted — a quick press of the quick release valve (the ring between the top of the cylinder and the black pip) will immediately decompress the inside of the pump chamber and bring things back to normal. Be sure to give yourself a trial run of this feature before pumping up with too much pressure, just to familiarize yourself with the process.

One of the differences I noted while using the Bathmate is that I haven’t had to lubricate my dick while pumping, which is something I’ve had to do with every other pump I’ve used. With the non-Bathmate pumps, lube helps keep my cock from getting rubbed raw and also helps give me a better vacuum seal. With the blanket of water surrounding my penis inside the Bathmate, I didn’t need any lube and my cock felt fine after my pump session. It was a lot easier to clean up after, too, without having to scrub lubricant residue from the inside of the cylinder. In fact, clean-up for the Bathmate was pretty simple. Just remove the comfort insert from the bottom, give the inside of the pump a quick rinse with some warm soapy water, and leave it someplace to dry completely. If you need a deeper clean, you can use a bottle brush with your soapy water to easily scrub it out.

Ready to have your own Bathmate penis pumping experience? Find the Bathmate Hydromax in three sizes at Peepshow Toys. Each size is currently being stocked in crystal clear or aqua blue models. Check the sizing chart above to ensure you order the correct model based on the length of your penis when erect, as well as the girth (circumference) when hard. Use the following link:

Oxballs Grinder Silicone Ball Stretcher

The Grinder Silicone Ball Stretcher from Oxballs is just one of the new additions to Peepshow Toys for those looking for some nut stretching fun. I’ll be doing reviews for four separate Oxballs pieces in the coming days, so if you’ve been wanting to wrap or tug your nuts with a decent silicone piece, you’ll want to check these out.

The Grinder is a weighty ring that has a height of 1.75″, which offers a decent amount of stretch for users who have played with these types of toys before. The inner diameter of the Grinder is 1⅜” and the outer diameter is 2⅝” — this is a chunky ball stretcher! Even though it’s made of silicone (opposed to metal), it weighs 3.5 ounces, so it’s going to offer a decent amount of tug on those nuts. Due to the size, Oxballs recommends this piece for those with medium to larger nuts.

The ring is made (in Oxballs’ Los Angeles facility) out of premium silicone, a great body-friendly material. Not only is silicone a better choice for those with sensitive skin, but it allows for longer sessions. Both in inner hole and the outer aspect of the Grinder ring sports a diagonal groove texture, which not only gives the stretcher an interesting look, but helps it grip the flesh of your ballsac during use. It gives your partner something to rub during sex, if you choose to put this thing on while having some fun. The ring itself is nice and thick, which gives it some heft, and helps to keep those balls from pulling up while you’re wearing it. That’s what makes ball stretchers so much fun; your balls want to pull up during climax and with the Grinder holding them back, you may experience a prolonged/more intense orgasm. I typically do, which is the main reason I enjoy wearing one from time to time. The thickness of the Grinder stretcher really keeps your balls tugged down.

Another reason to put this on is to stretch your sac and make your balls look more pronounced. Like ’em licked, sucked, or played with during sex? A ball stretcher could be just what you need to put them on display and make them more sensitive to stimulation (your own, or a playmate’s). Once you get this thing on, try putting on a jockstrap, your favorite pair of undergear, or a tight pair of jeans; the Grinder stretcher will likely make for a more defined bulge, and the silicone material makes wearing it for longer sessions more comfortable. It’s still a tight fit, at least on me, so make sure to wear it around the house for awhile before venturing out with it on, just to make sure you can handle a long-wear session. Unlike a metal stretcher, though, this one is a lot easier to remove in a pinch, so even if you need to duck into a restroom, relief isn’t far away.

The silicone used for this gear is pretty soft, which makes it easier to stretch the ring when you’re putting it on or taking it off. Just slide your fingers through the inner hole and slowly stretch it open so you can work both of your balls through to the other side. Silicone warms nicely to your body temperature, so it’s a good choice for comfortable, long-term wear. The silicone is soft enough to make longer sessions manageable, but the grip this thing has (at least for me), makes you aware that you’ve got it on the entire time. Want an even tighter fit? I found that you can actually twist the ring inside-out, giving the Grinder an even snugger inner diameter. The difference isn’t huge, but it was certainly noticeable to me.

Do you have a difficult time putting on a ball stretcher, especially a thicker one like this? Try adding a small amount of water-based lubricant to the inner portion of the ring, which makes it go on easier and gives it less “grab” during use. You might want to warm up the stretcher before putting it on as well; just run it under some warm or hot water for a bit and the silicone heats up easily. This stretcher also cleans up after use with some hot water and soap. Just let it dry completely before storing.

In the end, I think the Oxballs Grinder is a great ball stretcher for those who have already used this type of gear before, or know they want something fairly thick and weighty. If you’re a beginner at ball play, unsure of this type of device is too advanced for you, or have a set of smaller/tighter balls, you might want to start out with something like the Oxballs Cock-T Cock Ring. Made of the same silicone, but with a thickness of 1 inch, this cock ring can actually double as a somewhat thinner ball stretcher! Give that one a shot, before upgrading to one of the thicker Oxballs models.

But with the easy stretch on/off of the silicone and the soft comfort for long-wear sessions, the Grinder strap is perfect for those who want something thick and tight without having to worry about screwing around with a solid metal ball stretcher or a possibly-uncomfortable leather strap-style stretcher. Camo Cock Rings from Blush Novelties

You never can tell what fun stuff the people at Blush Novelties will come up with next. Peepshow Toys just added a few new cock rings from the Blush Performance line and asked if I’d like to try them out. I’m always up to try on a new cock ring or two, so here goes. The first review of 2019! The silicone Camo Cock Ring from Blush Novelties, available in two color choices.

I’m not typically a huge fan of camouflage as a color and/or design choice (this means you, people in the neighborhood who outfitted your front porch with camo skirting), but Blush got it right when they made these two rings. Ring #1 is colored with a mix of green, brown, and black, what people might usually think of when they envision camouflage. Ring #2 has the typical camo pattern, but uses two shades of blue mixed with white to create a colorful cock ring that really looks great.

Both rings spring from the same mold. They each measure 1.75″ in diameter, with an inner (unstretched) diameter of 1.5″. That actually sounds small, but the material used in these rings has a good deal of stretch. And that makes for my favorite type of cock ring: one that stays snug in its unstretched state, but has enough give to pull it over my balls and erect cock without a lot of discomfort or tricky maneuvers. The band of each Camo ring measures 0.5″, which isn’t a thick hefty ring by any means, but plenty wide enough for a snug fit so it can do what cock rings do. I like that this ring has a nice flat edge to it. Rounded cock rings can be fun, too, but sometimes you want something that’s less pronounced.

These Blush Performance cock rings are made of silicone. Silicone is a great material for sex toys. It’s odor free, offers a nice tight fit but allows the rings to stretch when you’re putting them on or taking them off. It’s a body safe material, so you won’t have to worry about any potentially weird chemicals that might irritate your skin. Silicone cleans up easily with soap and water. The silicone gives these Camo rings a smooth, soft feel with a nice satiny texture. Nothing that’s going to grab at your skin or body hair. Silicone rings generally last a lot longer than those cheaper rings made of rubber or elastomers that can break at the most inconvenient times.

The colors on these rings are great! Like I said, not a huge fan of camouflage, but I couldn’t be happier with the traditional camo ring. The green is an olive hue, the brown is nicely muted, and the black is a soft charcoal. The three colors are blended perfectly. With only a half-inch band, they really could have screwed this up, but the blending looks perfect. Whether you want a camo cock ring for fantasy play, or to gift to your favorite military man, or just because you like the way it looks, this is one fun ring. Here’s a tip: the inner aspect and the outer aspect each have a slightly different color pattern and you can easily flip the ring inside-out to change its look.

I was looking forward to seeing the blue version even before I received the rings, and turns out it looks even better in person! Dark blue is swirled with a bold bright blue and then mixed with a white that’s tinged with a hint of light blue. Like the green ring, the colors compliment each other perfectly and Blush did a great job blending them together. It’s actually hard to find blue cock rings, and the colors on this one really make it stand out. Even if you’re not crazy about camouflage, I think you’d like this blue Camo ring. The colors really pop and blend perfectly, and frankly the ring just looks good wrapped around the base of your cock and balls.

Putting the Camo rings on couldn’t be easier. Just grasp the edges of each side of the ring and slowly stretch it open. For me, it’s easier to push my balls through first, and then pull my cock through after. Once you’ve got everything through the center of the ring, you can easily adjust it to fit comfortably around the base of your cock and balls. Prefer a ring at the base of your shaft and/or just around your balls? The snug inner diameter makes the Camo ring pretty versatile in this regard. If you need a break from the cock ring, or you’re done using it, slip your fingers under the band and gently stretch it open, popping your balls and cock through one at a time. Easy on, easy off!

What else can I say about these fun new rings from Blush Novelties? They clean up easy and the small size make them a snap to store. Headed out for some fun? Slip one in your pocket. Need a cock ring for a trip? Simply tuck one into you bag. If you can’t decide which color suits you, why not get both? I always keep extra cock rings on hand, because once guys see you wearing one, they usually want to try one out themselves.

Thanks to Peepshow Toys for sending these along for me to try. Do you like the size and shape of the Camo ring, but want to see it in another design? Check out my review for the Blush Performance Glo Cock Ring (review coming soon). It’s the same ring, but in light blue or white…and this one glows in the dark!
