Helix Syn V Vibrating Prostate Massager

This might just be the Aneros you’ve been waiting for! Have you always wanted to try a prostate massager from the Aneros company but weren’t sure which one to buy? Not sure if it was big enough, or too big? Or plastic or silicone? Or maybe you wanted one of their vibrating Vice models but it just seemed too big for your tastes or experience level.

Today I am reviewing the newest Aneros massager for Peepshow Toys and it just might be my favorite. The Aneros Helix Syn V is a vibrating prostate massager that’s super slim, but packs an amazing multi-speed and multi-function vibe into the slender stem. Whoa. Let’s take a closer look.

Like the other Helix models, the V version is touted as being good for beginners, but a lot of users end up sticking with their Helix because it works so well. It has 3.6 inches of insertable depth with a slightly bulbous tip measuring an inch wide. It tapers into a slightly smaller bulge (0.9 inches) before dropping into a more slender neck. The neck is angled to work the tip into the user’s prostate, for some direct stimulation.

The newer Helix models are of the “Trident” variety, which sport dual external massage knobs on either end of the base. Not only does the base help keep the toy safely anchored during use, but it provides stimulation to both your perineum and tailbone area via nerves in these spots while your prostate is getting massaged internally.

While the Aneros plastic models are smooth and easy to use, the V sports a satiny coating of black silicone, just like all their other “Syn” products. Properly lubed (I use Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle), the silicone massagers work just as well as their plastic counterparts, and might just be a little easier for your hole to grip, especially if you’re trying to manipulate the plug using just your ass muscles.

Aneros massagers certainly offer stimulation to your hole and prostate, but many users love to learn how to work the plugs in and out using just muscle movement. It can take a lot of practice (and patience) to achieve this, but it it’s certainly possible. Consider checking out this directory on the Aneros site forum if you want to learn more about this specific type of anal play/prostate massage and read about first-hand experiences in using these sex toys.

Of course, the pièce de résistance of this newest Aneros model is the internal vibrator, which adds a whole new level to prostate play. I’m not sure how they got such a powerful little vibe embedded in this thing, but—for the size—it packs quite the punch. Let’s take a look at the vibe itself.

First of all it’s rechargeable. I can remember earlier vibrating Aneros toys that needed a battery inserted into them to work. This new model is not only USB rechargeable, but it comes with about the most clever charging port I’ve ever seen on a toy. Like many newer rechargeable sex toys, it has magnetic leads. Now these typically work well, but I’ve sometimes had issues attaching them and keeping them connected. The V charging base is molded to snugly hold the massager in place, so everything will stay put until it’s completely charged. The flat edge keeps the toy from slipping or coming loose, as well. And I love that the bright red connector makes it so easy to remember which charging cord goes with the V. If you own a lot of rechargeable sex toys with plain black cords, you know what I am talking about.

Once your battery is charged up, you’re ready to play. Unlike the more expensive (and larger) Vice 2 model, the smaller V does not come with a remote control, so you’re going to have to operate this toy with the button that’s attached to the base of the toy. Toys like these can be a lot more difficult to control, not only because they lack fewer control buttons, but because the button is in a place that you can’t see once it’s inserted up your butt.

I always recommend learning how to turn these types of toys on and off (and how to change their settings) while the toy is in your hands (and not your butt). It’s fairly easy to operate once you learn the ins an outs, but it takes a little practice to remember how many clicks to get this thing up and running and then switch the intensity level or to change it to a vibrating pattern.

The Helix Syn V comes equipped with three different intensity levels, and each of them is pretty powerful, given the small size of this prostate plug. Of course, everyone’s anatomy is slightly different, so not everyone can experience direct prostate stimulation with every vibrating plug. As I stated earlier, this Aneros has an insertable depth of just under four inches. I’d recommend playing around with some less expensive prostate toys if a “direct hit” is important to you; this way you can get an idea of the length/girth/angle you need to hit just the right spot.

In the end, the V’s internal vibe is pretty damn decent for the smaller size of this toy, and it delivers some pretty pleasurable stimulation, both internal and (somewhat) to the external pleasure/pressure spots. If you’re looking for a more intense vibration experience, I might suggest the bigger/more powerful Vice 2 Aneros model, or even using a non-vibrating Aneros toy that works well for you, and utilizing your favorite vibrating wand (mine would be the Man Wand, but any could work) to add some instant vibration and extra pressure to an anal toy.

While I love anal vibes of many types, I am not the biggest fan of the Aneros external tabs. While they do offer extra pressure, there really isn’t a way to avoid using them if you are just going for an internal massage, save for manually holding the plug away from your body so the tabs don’t press on your skin, and this (of course) pulls the internal tip away from your prostate. Also, I prefer to sit or rest on my smaller plugs and anal toys, and I pretty much had to lie on my back to keep the base of the toy from being pressed even harder into my pressure points. But to each their own; that kind of extra stimulation might be what you’re after.

As far as internally, I liked using my V both in non-vibrating mode for an extended manual prostate stim session, and clicking the vibrator on when I wanted that extra something, or to finish my session with a bang (I tend to climax faster when using vibrating sex toys). So for the extra cost, it’s kind of like having a regular Aneros Trident Syn and one that vibrates when you want it to. I’m definitely keeping this one in my regular rotation, and am heartily recommending it to anyone who is looking for a slimmer anal toy that vibrates, or is wanting to try their first Aneros product.

Backdoor Banger Thrusting Butt Plug from Evolved

NOTE: This review was first released on December 10, 2021

I’m looking at another interesting sex toy for Peepshow Toys: the Backdoor Banger from Evolved. It’s a rechargeable butt plug with thrusting action. At first glance, it’s pretty small (as butt plugs go), so let’s take a closer look and see how it works.

The Backdoor Banger isn’t the first toy I’ve tried from this company. In fact, I reviewed their plastic battery-powered prostate massager—the Get a Grip—for this site back in 2015. Due to the way that toy pressed against my prostate, it was an early favorite, and the only reason I don’t use it much any more is because the cap on the base that holds the batteries in place kept popping lose, thereby shutting down the toy’s powerful motor.

Fast forward six years and I’m ready to try this newer toy from Evolved. They’ve certainly, uh, evolved a bit themselves, as the Backdoor Banger is a silicone-coated toy, and the mechanical inner workings are powered by rechargeable means. And though the plug has a nice solid feel to it, the silicone gives it a softer texture, and a somewhat bendable neck offers more flexibility than the Get a Grip massager had.

Charging the plug is easy. One end of the included cable pops into any USB-type slot and the other is a metal pin that snugly fits into a hole in the base of the toy. There’s a compatible remote control that operates the powered feature of the Backdoor Banger, and that requires a small A23 battery (one is included).

Lets look at the plug itself. Like any powered sex toy, you don’t actually have to turn it on to get some good pleasure out of it. The Backdoor Banger runs about 5⅓ inches from base to tip, so it’s fairly small compared to many anal toys. The insertable length is about 4 inches. The more slender neck slowly widens into the anal-safe base.

The plug has three ripples in the top part, giving it the shape of a (melting) snowman. The tip’s about an inch wide and an inch deep, before spreading out into the second bulge, which has a thickness of 1.33 inches. This second bulge narrows slightly then spreads out into the third and widest portion which measures 1.59″.

Once your hole spreads enough to accommodate this bulge, it’ll drop down into the more-slender neck, which is a little less than an inch thick. As I mentioned before, this portion of the toy is more bendable. The rippled upper aspect is a more solid silicone and has a much firmer feel to it. Be sure to slather your new toy with plenty of water-based lube, especially if you’re a newcomer to anal toys, or you haven’t used any in awhile. I found the third ripple to be a little bit of a hole stretcher, so don’t hesitate to add more lube and take some extra time if you’re trying to push it all the way in. Even without the thrusting feature turned on, working in the thicker midsection could cause some discomfort if you try to hurry things along.

As a manual plug, the Backdoor Banger was perfectly pleasant. It wasn’t overly huge, but felt comfortable once fully seated. The more solid upper part put some nice pressure on my P-spot just by sitting on the plug (and the small round base isn’t too bad for this), but I really wanted to get the thing turned on so I could see how it felt once it started to thrust.

Before I inserted the plug up my butt, I played around with it a little bit and could tell there was something rocking around inside the core. It felt like at least one metal ball that could travel up and down the inside of the plug’s neck. It reminded me of some of the high-tech pulsators from Fun Factory, not all of which are anal-safe and/or suitable for all beginners due to size concerns. Plus those cost about twice as much as this Evolved plug.

You can control the thrusting/thumping feature with either the button on the plug’s base, or with the small remote (pictured). You’ll have to have the plug turned on to use the remote. It’s simple to use; with only one button on there, you can turn the plug on once it’s inside your hole and then press the remote button to kickstart the thumping. It starts with a steady pulsing and each click makes it a little more intense. Like many powered sex toys, the “steady” settings are followed by a couple patterns. I found the patterns more fun once I got used to the steady pounding. The shape of this plug worked pretty well for me as a prostate massager (even without the thumping), but the thrusting brought it to a new level. It’s not a long toy, like a dildo would be, so I’d recommend this one more for targeted stimulation of the prostate or for those who don’t want or need something extra deep. Need to quit the thrusting when things get too intense? Simply press and hold the button on the remote and it’ll shut down. (I like the little double-tap from inside the plug each time it’s silenced.)

The banging motion definitely added some extra stimulation to an already-fine prostate massage, and the stop-and-start of the first pattern really felt great. This setting delivers seven rapid pounds, then grows quiet for a protracted moment before launching back into the pounding. For me, this pause made me aware of a delicious tickle near my prostate, which I could enjoy every time the hammering stopped. The selections wrap up with an erratically-paced setting that feels great too, but I kept coming back to the stop/start one, because it felt so good.

The toy is coated entirely in body-safe silicone, and it’s totally waterproof. So go ahead and try it out in the bath or shower, and don’t worry about getting it wet when you’re cleaning it up after using it. And kudos to the flat base. After scrubbing it clean, it dried a lot faster since I could stand it up without it tipping over. During use, don’t hesitate to press on the base to see if you can get some even deeper prostate sensations!

I definitely recommend the Backdoor Banger to anyone looking for a unique plug that offers powered stimulation without using standard vibrations. This plug is pretty perfect for those who want a smaller version of more expensive pulsators. I kind of hope Evolved will use this technology in some other designs suitable for anal pleasure. I’d love to see something with a totally smooth (i.e. non rippled) shaft that has a slight curve for targeted prostate pressure. Still, as a stand alone product, the Backdoor Banger is pretty great at what it does.

Splendid Large Dildo from Uberrime

I was going to start this review with “One of my all-time favorite dildos is the Uberrime Splendid,” but that’s not quite right. I opened the review for the Splendid with “This is my favorite dildo” and that statement still stands. So you can imagine how intrigued I was to be offered a larger version of the Splendid to review for Peepshow Toys.

The Splendid Large dildo has everything I loved about the original Splendid, it’s just been done bigger. And thicker. And chunkier. My last dildo review was for another large Uberrime piece: the Night King “Fire and Ice” fantasy dong. The Night King is long and offers a lot of texture. The Splendid Large is also pretty long (8 total inches; 7.5 insertable inches) and offers something for those who want an even thicker toy. The girth of this thing is really the reason to “go large,” so if you’re not interested (or not ready) for a toy that’s pretty thick, I’d definitely recommend the original Splendid instead. And even if the 6-inch Splendid is more than you’d like, there’s even a Small Splendid, with 5.25 insertable inches and a less thick head and shaft (1.5″ max head diameter; 1.43″ max shaft diameter).

The original has a maximum shaft diameter of 1.67 inches (the average diameter is listed as 1.6″). The large version has a head with a diameter of 2 inches and a shaft with a max diameter of 2.07″ — that might not seem like a significant difference, but if you look at the side-by-side photo of both toys, you can see how much beefier the bigger one really is.

The overall design of both is pretty similar. Both have a fairly realistic head with a rounded tip spreading into bulbous glans defined by a deep ridge that separates the tip from the shaft. This is one of the features I love about Marco’s dildos: the ridge offers such a great textural experience, you almost want to forget the thick shaft behind it and spend all your toy time popping the head in and out of your hole just to feel that ridge.

Actually, if you don’t have a lot of experience with thick toys, you might have to work your way up to the shaft. I did. Luckily, like the original version, the head of this cock seems to be softer and squishier than the rest of the toy, which makes it a little easier to work it inside tighter holes. Anyhow, one of things I loved about the original was the dual-density silicone, which gives the sensation of a softer outer layer covering a solid inner core. To me, this makes a dildo feel more like a real (hard) dick. Coupled with the way silicone easily warms to your body temperature, dual-density dongs always feel more lifelike, even more so when you’re moving them in and out. Working it all the way in to the base will leave you feeling extra full and stretched, especially if you haven’t used larger anal toys much.

Make no mistake, a thicker shaft means less experienced users will have to use more time and patience to work this large dildo in. And lots of lube, lots of lube, lots of lube. I don’t normally pre-lube my hole, but in this case I had to. Just lubing the dildo itself wasn’t going to work for me. Thankfully, my go-to water-based lubricant for anal toys — Sliquid Sassy — is thick enough to work well with this dildo. While not as textured as the Night King cock, the Splendid Large does feature some nice detailing: a beautiful thick cord that runs down the underside of the shaft, and an assortment of veins snaking up and down the length of the toy. Because of the softer outer layer and the bigger size, I didn’t feel these textural elements quite as much as I did with the Night King, but they sure do make for a sexy looking piece. With its bulbous head, deep groove, curved and veined shaft, the Splendid Large does look fairly realistic. You won’t find this in fleshtone colors; instead, Marco — the artist behind the handmade Uberrime silicone toys — has made this dildo in three different pearl shades: blue, violet and rose.

Like the original, the dildo sits atop a thick anal-safe base which doubles as a suction cup, so you can not only use it handheld style, but you can anchor it to a smooth surface (like a floor or wall) and ride it hands free. It’s also compatible with some harnesses (Peepshow Toys says 2-inch O-ring diameter). I haven’t yet worked my way up to riding this thing, but it’s nice to know I have the option of mounting it when I’m ready to go for it. As you might expect, the larger version is fairly heavy and solid, so it’s going to feel meatier than the original when you grasp it in your hand.

So while this toy’s larger size hasn’t made it possible to use it the same way I do my favorite original Splendid dildo, I’d heartily recommend it to anyone searching for a well made body-safe silicone toy that’s long, thick, and heavy. Thanks to Peepshow Toys for letting me try this one out. If you’re ready to give it a try, order the Uberrime Splendid Large dildo from Peepshow Toys by using the link below:

Snug Plug from b-Vibe

NOTE: This review was originally released on October 19, 2017

After trying out and enjoying the LA Pump Deluxe Pump Kit, Peepshow Toys asked if I would like to test and review a new butt plug: the Snug Plug from b-Vibe. I’m a big fan of b-Vibe’s Rimming Plug and their Trio Plug, so this was a new toy I was eager to try. The Snug Plug is a torpedo-shaped weighted butt plug made of silicone.

Before I even opened the Snug Plug package I was impressed. As with their vibrating plugs, everything b-Vibe seems to do is top quality, from design and manufacturing, to packaging and presentation. The Snug Plug came stylishly packaged. The plug comes nestled in a sleek clear-fronted display box. Under the insert that holds the plug is a nice collapsible zippered storage case for your plug, along with a detailed user’s guide, complete with instructions in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German and Russian, as well as helpful diagrams to aid with insertion and removal, which is a nice extra if you’re new to anal toys. If you’re an anal toy newbie, you can also read through the included b-Vibe Guide to Anal Play booklet for even more detailed information on safe anal play.

Now let’s check out the Snug Plug! The package lets you know these details: it’s made of bodysafe silicone, and the design is perfectly seamless. This might not seem important, but even a slight manufacturing seam in the material can cause discomfort when you’re using a toy anally. The silicone itself is very silky feeling and totally smooth. As with all sex toys made with silicone, there’s no offensive odor, always a plus in my book. The plug is waterproof, and it’s weighted. I was sent the Snug Plug 2, the second in their 4-plug series¹. All four have the same basic design. Snug Plug 1 is very slim and features only one weighted ball in its core. Snug Plugs 2 through 4 each contain two metallic balls, and each successive model carries more length, girth and weight than the one before it. See the chart below for how each of the Snug Plugs measure up in a side-by-side comparison. Their respective weights and product measurements are included too.

While the inner balls of Snug Plug 2 do bump against each other slightly if you shake the plug up and down, unless you’re really moving around while using the toy, you’re not going to feel too much going on with the balls. It’s more of a subtle sensation. I’m guessing their main purpose is to add weight and a solid core to what would otherwise be a soft pliable plug. In this regard, b-Vibe has created a great plug. Contrasting with the soft silicone outer layer, the inner metallic core is nice and solid and has a great heft. If you grip the plug during use, you’ll notice a slight give before feeling that hard solid core.

The Snug Plug has a torpedo-like shape, with a thin and slightly curved anal-safe base that doubles as a handle, and a more slender “neck” between. While the shape varies from the typical “cone” shaped butt plug, this design actually works wonderfully if you’re looking for something that is easily inserted, has a bit of thicker girth in the center, and then eases into a skinny neck to allow your hole to close almost all the way up. My biggest complaint about butt plugs is when they have a widely-flared lower aspect that quickly narrows into a small neck…and it seems like typically the neck is too short! This design flaw usually leaves your hole feeling like the plug is trying to push its way back out, or the base is being pulled uncomfortably against your crack. b-Vibe has designed a plug that not only sits comfortably up your butt, but whose handle rests cozily between your cheeks. “Extended wear stimulation” claims the package. With this clever design, it’s not only possible, but pleasant. I hate to say you forget you’ve got a butt plug inside you, but it’s certainly a comfortable fit for an extended session. Since the Snug Plug 2 isn’t overly large (at least for me), an extended session was a pleasure, never a pain. All I had to do to remind myself that I was enjoying this plug was to bear down with my ass muscles and feel the nice heavy girth of the toy. As comfortable as the base is, I think the extra length of the neck is the real genius of the Snug Plug. It really make a difference, at least for my own personal anatomy.

Now let’s look at some measurements. The Snug Plug I tried (model 2) has the following specs: the total insertable length is 4.3 inches (11 cm), the diameter at its widest part is 1.2 inches (3.1 cm) with a circumference of 3.8 inches (9.6 cm), the neck diameter is 0.4 inches (1 cm), and the weight of the plug is 114 grams. Consult the comparison chart near the top of the review to see how the other three Snug Plug models stack up against this one.

The package specifically states not to use silicone lubricant with this toy, so I used a high-quality water-based lube (Sliquid Naturals Sassy lubricant). Put lots of lube on your Snug Plug! The smooth texture of the toy means it has a little bit of “grab” during insertion if it’s not well lubricated. I’ve found that it’s easier to pull a toy out when you’re done if you’ve given it a little extra lube when you’re putting it in. If you’ve greased it up well, it should ease right in. The narrow rounded tip eases gently into the thicker middle. If it sticks at all or feels like it’s not gliding effortlessly, apply more lubrication. This is pretty much the most important rule of anal toy play. You’ll feel the wide portion open you up, and then a nice sensation will follow as the toy tapers off into the neck. You’ll momentarily have the feeling that the toy is being pulled out of your grasp, but the handle will come to rest against your hole, and you’ll know it’s locked into place.

As I said before, once the Snug Plug is totally inserted, you can either bear down on it and enjoy its solidness inside you, or you can let yourself go totally relaxed and enjoy feeling it nestled up your butt. I can’t remember using a more comfortable anal toy! Strangely, it’s difficult to find a plug that’s comfortable to sit on, but the Snug Plug is perfect for this. I know a lot of people like to put in a butt plug and move around. While I didn’t keep my own Snug Plug in for hours, I did keep it in for awhile and had no trouble moving around with it inside me. It stayed firmly in place and wasn’t uncomfortable at any time. I think if you wanted to put a toy up your butt while you’re “out and about,” this would be an ideal choice.

While the Snug Plug 2 wasn’t quite long enough for deep prostate massage, I did get some nice P-spot jolts while gripping my plug. I have a feeling the longer 3 or 4 model would feel even better for prostate stimulation, especially since they are thicker and heavier. Still, I think the 1 or 2 models are great choices for guys who want to try a butt plug, but want to start with something that isn’t terribly thick.

When you’re finished with your Snug Plug, use the base as a handle to slowly and carefully extract the toy from your hole. While mine was still nicely lubed, you can always add a little fresh lube while pulling the plug out, in case it’s not gliding as easily as you’d like. As with all silicone toys, you can easily clean them with some soap and hot water. Once it’s dry it fits nicely in the little included storage bag.

All in all, I can’t think of anything bad to say about this little plug. b-Vibe scores another hit with the Snug Plug. It’s well made, thoughtfully designed, goes in easy and feels great while using it. Thanks again to Peepshow Toys for letting me try it out. You can order your own Snug Plug in any of the four available sizes from Peepshow Toys using the link below:

SquarePegToys® Wiggly Butt Plug & Prostate Massager

NOTE: This review was originally released on November 11, 2020

I’m coming to you today with another one of my new favorite sex toys! I’ve reviewed several of the SquarePegToys® silicone anal toys, but the one I am reviewing today just might be my favorite. (It’s definitely my favorite!) Peepshow Toys is an online adult retailer that stocks only body-safe sex toys, so the high quality, platinum silicone goods that are handcrafted by SquarePegToys® are a perfect fit for Peepshow Toys.

This time around I’m talking about a butt plug called the Charlie Horse Wiggly. I reviewed the Charlie Horse Kidney plug with its chunky/angled appearance, which is designed to apply pressure to one’s prostate region. After that, it was the Charlie Horse Milk It, a re-imagined version of the original Charlie Horse plug with a jagged edge (don’t worry, it’s made of softer silicone) to give more of a textured massage to this sensitive spot.

Both of those plugs sport a large bulge just above the narrower neck of the toys, and this bulge helps spread willing holes open and create a great “filling” feeling once the plugs are seated. The Charlie Horse Wiggly has a very similar design on the bottom part of the plug: the same arched anal-safe base, the rounded, narrower neck that holds your hole open, and the bulging thick part of the plug that fills the area just inside your hole. But the upper aspect of this Charlie Horse is different. Waaaay different.

Check out the picture of the Wiggly and you can probably guess how it got its name. Beyond the bulge is a long, squirmy protrusion that extends nearly seven inches beyond the widest part of the plug. It twists and grows more narrow as it reaches the tip. (Or, as far as penetration goes, it gets more and more thick as the toy sinks deeper into your ass.)

I’ll tell you why I was so eager to get my hands on this piece. Many years ago, I saw the most deliciously perverse amateur (i.e. “homemade”) porn clip on one of the tube sites. A well-hung, hairy top fellow was preparing an eager bottom for an anal reaming. With the camera positioned just between the guy’s spread legs, the top began to rim the waiting hole. At first the tongue-job was soft and delicate, the tip of the top’s tongue teasing the waiting hole. As the bottom began to respond (his hole opened to welcome this talented tongue), the viewer soon realized that the top’s tongue was long and quite exceptional. Like a curved, twisty dick, the tongue went deeper into the hole, sliding in and out, forcing the hole open even more. The top seemed to be fucking the bottom’s hole with his tongue, and showed no signs of relenting. He eventually stood up and replaced his amazing tongue with his erection, but the image of that hole swallowing up that long, twisty tongue has stayed with me. And that was honestly the first image that came to mind when I saw the Charlie Horse Wiggly.

This version of the Wiggly is solid black, which is a firmer silicone than the bronze Super Soft silicone that was used in every other SquarePegToys® plug I’ve tried. I actually wanted the firmer silicone this time around, because I knew exactly how I wanted to use this plug: like a tongue that went a little deeper into my ass with every slow, deliberate thrust. Not to worry, if you prefer this plug in the softer silicone, Peepshow Toys indeed has the Super Soft Charlie Horse Wiggly! (In two different colors.)

Even though the Charlie Horse Wiggly runs a total length of 9 inches, I wasn’t really concerned with whether or not I could insert the entire usable length of the toy. The “insertable length” isn’t listed on Peepshow Toys or the SquarePegToys® website, but I measured it as approximately 8.25 inches. Yes, this is one deep tongue. I used a thick water-based lube that Peepshow Toys stocks, called Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle. It goes on nice and thick and doesn’t drip all over. It really clings nicely to the toy and provides ample lubrication to the hole and beyond. NOTE: if you’re planning to go extra deep with the Wiggly, I’d recommend adding some supplemental lubricant directly inside your hole. This firmer silicone is pretty smooth, but it can grab your tender skin if things are not well greased up.

But before I talk to much about using this plug as a plug, let me go back to how it felt as a tongue. Absolutely amazing! Once it was properly lubed, I could dart the tip of the Wiggly in and out of my hole, feeling it slightly push me open when I dared to make my “rim job” a little deeper. Of course, I wanted to go as deep as possible, so once I was suitably relaxed, I did exactly that, allowing the Wiggly to twist even deeper inside me. I loved the way the rounded tip poked around inside me as the twisty part of the plug grew thicker. I also enjoyed slowly (or not so slowly) rotating the plug, to spin the tip inside me. Some good feeling were had with this thing!

Of course, most actual tongues aren’t as long and as thick as this toy, but who says you can’t enjoy fantasizing? I loved the bends in the shaft and feeling things grow thicker the deeper I went. I confess, I had so much fun giving myself a “deep tongue-job” with this thing, I wasn’t even worried about pushing the thick part of the plug past my hole and leaving the Wiggly entrenched inside me. I was enjoying fucking my hole with it, in and out, marveling at how deep I could feel it, and how twisty it felt each time I slowly rotated it in my hole. This is definitely my favorite way to use the Wiggly, but I did try it the “regular” was as well.

Even though the bulb on this plug isn’t quite the hole stretcher as the other two Charlie Horse plugs I tried previously (the Wiggly has a max diameter of about 1.75”, compared with the Kidney’s 2″ and the Milk It’s 2.07″), it was still a bit of a push to work in that last thick bit. I think a lot of it had to do with how long and deep the twisted upper aspect was up inside me when I finally worked it in. It was definitely a strange sensation, but I still kind of enjoyed it. Just not as much as the aforementioned deep tonguing sensation. Just like the other versions of the Charlie Horse plugs, the Wiggly has a base that will keep things properly anchored, yet very comfortable, especially if you’re using this plug while seated. Adding additional pressure to the base while it’s all the way in will give you some extra internal stimulation, so give that a try!

The Charlie Horse Wiggly is one of the few SquarePegToys® that is only available in one size, so there isn’t anything longer (or smaller) to recommend if you are looking for the same design in a different size. You can definitely check out a real depth explorer in the SquarePegToys® Slink Depth Training Probe, which measures in length from just over a foot long (Small), to a eye-popping 24.5” length in the 2XL version. Many months ago, Phallophile Reviews had asked if I was interested in reviewing one of these for her site (I had previously collaborated with her on the Njoy Pure Wand Guide, as well as having contributed a Male Sex Toy Guide to her site), but I felt that even the “smallest” Slink was a little too long and thick (6.6” circumference!) for my experience level. The newer Wiggly, on the other hand, isn’t quite so long or thick, but still snakes deep enough to explore some pretty wild play, so—for me—the Wiggly was the perfect longer toy for a depth play first timer. If you’re curious about the thicker/longer Slink, Felicity found a porn star with experience in such matters to tackle the Slink; please check it out on her site.

For me, I couldn’t be happier with my Wiggly. It certainly fulfilled the deep tongue-job fantasies I’ve been harboring for years, and gave a pretty good prostate poking, too! Want to try the Charlie Horse Wiggly for yourself? Pick one up at Peepshow Toys using these links:

Your New Favorite Penis Vibrator

NOTE: This review was originally released on February 8, 2024.

Lest you think I’m giving my review in the title of this newest blog post, the name of this new toy I’m checking out is actually called Your New Favorite Penis Vibrator. It’s (big surprise) a penis vibrator from Orion and currently available from Peepshow Toys. Is it my new favorite penis vibrator? Well, let’s find out.

I’d never heard of the sex toy brand Orion before, but the vibrating penis massager looks pretty familiar. I’ve certainly tried a few of these wand-style massagers that have been designed with a head to accommodate the head and shaft of a penis. My own favorite penis vibrator is easily the Man Wand, another massager that was sent to me by Peepshow Toys back in 2019. That toy quickly became my favorite, mostly because it was so adept and making me cum: easily and effortlessly, every time. My favorite way to use the Man Wand is to keep it on a bedside table and use it to massage my cock through my underpants. The Man Wand has a powerful buzzy vibrator, so by keeping the boxer-briefs on I was able to temper the strong vibrations and enjoy the experience for a little while before the point of no return was reached and orgasm was achieved. I easily milked hundreds (and probably more) loads out of my dick with this thing, and I mention it here for context. I mean, how good can this My New Favorite Penis Vibrator be to match a toy that has worked so successfully for me for five years? Of course there were others too: the Fun Factory Manta, the Pulse Solo Lux, and the We-Vibe Wand but none of them found a place next to my bed.

The Orion massager showed up, and I unboxed it and got it charging so I could try it out. It’s as easy to charge as the Man Wand; simply use the included USB-style charger and slide the metal prong into the tiny pinhole at the back of the device. A light blinks off and on while it’s charging and turns solid when it’s ready to use. The wand itself has a nice chunky compact design, with a comfortable handle, three control buttons and a head that has the familiar “lobster claw” shape fashioned to deliver vibrations to the penis. The curved flaps on the massage head seem a bit longer than others I’ve tried, yet the space between them a bit more compact. Luckily the flaps are very flexible, so they should bend to accommodate those big thick dicks. The inside of the massage portion is gently ribbed with some lined texture. I should mention that the entire tool (save for a gold chrome embellishment on the handle) is coated in nice satiny silicone. This material is a mustard yellow color, not often seen in silicone sex toys. If nothing else, you could probably disguise sex toy by placing it around similarly-colored power tools. Its color definitely makes it easy to spot if you have a big box of silicone toys.

Once this was powered up, I do what I always do with the wand I typically use: I slid the curves of the attachment onto my bulge and turned the vibe on. This is easy to accomplish. You just press and hold the center button, which is conveniently embossed with the universal symbol for “power.” A green light comes on with the vibrator, which starts on its lowest speed. Now my usual vibrator revs to life on the highest setting, which is mainly the reason I like to keep my undergear on during sessions like these. The Orion starts low and seemed way too low for me, so I used the adjacent + button to crank up the power. I counted five different settings of steady/solid vibrations, and as you cycle up through them, this wand really starts to rumble! The entire toy vibrates, especially when the power is turned up. Even the knob-like handle was humming with vibrations, so of course I used it like a mortar and pestle, grinding the vibrating handle against my bulge. It felt nice.

I also noted that the back of the massager has an interesting crease where the two curves meet at the back. They could have designed this with a flat/smooth back, but I really like the idea of this indentation. If you’re a frenulum stimulator like I am, this little crevice can be worked over that sweet spot, and the two little ridges on the back are quite a bit more solid than the flappier flaps that make up the business end of this massager, though those tease the sweet spot nicely when it’s on a higher power. It’s nice to have some variety, at any rate. Since the whole toy hums and rumbles, be sure to come at all of your sensitive parts at different angles.

Sadly, the My New Favorite Penis Vibrator did not become my new favorite during these first few sessions. I am so used to the buzzy stimulation of my Man Wand that this Orion toy—while powerful—just wasn’t rumbly enough to push my cock to the point of nutting. It certainly felt good, but when you’re so used to something that works really well, it’s difficult to switch things up and make the same chain of events happen.

I enjoyed using this new wand to tease my cock, my balls, my nipples… honestly, try the ridge on the back of the wand if you have erect nipples that respond to stimulation. Actually, what responded mostly to the strong vibrations was my hand. After several minutes of working this thing over my bulge, my hand was quite tingly and pretty numb. I was kind of frustrated that it wouldn’t trip my trigger and make me cum, though.

On future uses I switched to the pattern vibrations, which is something I never use on the Man Wand, but there are some really solid options on this new masturbation toy. After using the + button to work through the five levels of steady vibrations, click the + again to segue into the five available patterns. Here are descriptions in the running order:

  1. Starts out as a sputter and grows steady before starting back to sputtering again
  2. An oscillating “revving” that goes from stronger to stronger
  3. Three long pulses followed by six shorter bursts
  4. A strong burst followed by faster taps
  5. A cycle of steady vibrations at two differing levels (I really like this one)
Even though the options are decent, I was ready to pack this thing away and go back to my old stand by. Until I reached for Your New Favorite Penis Vibrator when I was naked. I hadn’t even planned on using it, but when I clicked it on and touched it to my exposed cock, something unexpected happened: I immediately got rock hard and started to respond to the toy.

I am so used to wearing underwear when using the Man Wand, that I never gave it a thought when I was using the same moves with this newer gadget. Using the yellow massager directly on my cock felt wonderful, the rumbly vibes tickling the pleasure nerves. I easily achieved a decent climax with the wand, just using the steady vibes.

The next time I wanted to wank, I got naked and bypassed the five steady vibe settings and tried out the patterns (again). Without the underwear cockblocking the vibrations, everything felt so amazing! I like the fact that there’s a – button to backtrack through the ten different settings, so you can move back into a certain pulse pattern without having to shut the toy off and find it again.

And the ribbing inside the curved part of the toy feels very good when you’re actually stroking your cock, and not just the bulge. Add a little water-based lube to this part of the toy and things really start to feel good. I never use lube with my other vibrating cock toys, but slicking up this one heightens the experience. I’ve also found the Orion stroker makes me precum like crazy, so no need to use lube when the slippery stuff is leaking all over the silicone flaps. The fluttering flaps on my wet frenulum offer some great teasing when I want to ease up from the steadier stroking sensations.

I feel pretty stupid that it took me a few tries to find out how good this masturbator can feel, but I’m glad I switched things up and realized how different this toy is from my old stand by. They may look alike, but the method of delivery needs to be different (at least for me) depending on which one I’m using.

I’m not sure if this Orion massager will become as important to my jack off routine as the Man Wand is, but at least for now it’s got its own spot on the bedside table. With its squat handle that’s easy to hold, I’m looking forward to grabbing this thing the next time I give a guy head. I’ve managed to use massage wands like this to accentuate a blow job before and I’m guessing this Orion toy will make someone else feel good very soon.

Other things I want to mention: the massager holds a charge for awhile but didn’t give me much warning before it quit altogether, which is pretty common for toys like these. At least now I have more than one cock massager I can grab to finish the job if another one dies before I can cum. The Orion one charges easily in a fairly short time, so it shouldn’t be out of commission for long. Also, they bill this thing as “water resistant” (as opposed to waterproof) which means you really shouldn’t use it in the bath/shower/pool but that cleaning it up in the sink shouldn’t give you any worries. Just let it dry completely if you’re going to store it after washing up.

So yes, Orion…Your New Favorite Penis Vibrator is my new favorite. Now that I know what this thing can do, I am looking forward to many future sessions. I’m hoping if you give it a try, you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.

Njoy Pure Wand

Sleek, smooth and heavy, this solid double-ended stainless steel piece from Njoy will give men amazing anal stimulation and intense prostate massage.

When you were a kid, do you remember that sensation when one of your evil friends would make a fist and press the knuckle of his index finger into the back of your neck, twisting until it felt like you’d been hooked up to a 9-volt battery, knees buckling and writhing in helplessness as you lost control of your body?

I had a flashback to that in the midst of using the Pure Wand, a 1.5 pound, 8 inch (7 insertable) stainless steel sex toy from Njoy. The Pure Wand is a smooth, sleek curved arm, capped on each end with a fairly large ball. Just like real life, one of the balls is somewhat larger than the other, but this is a good thing.

Because it’s made of stainless steel, you can grease this toy with any lube you want, and you’re probably going to want lots of it. Also because it’s steel, it’ll be a snap to clean up. It’s nonporous, and – unlike softer/textured toys – has no nooks, crannies or wrinkles. Also because it’s steel, you can easily heat it up, or cool it down, and the material will retain this new temperature for awhile, a unique advantage to sex toys made of metal (and to a degree, glass). Also because it’s steel, it’s heavy, which gives the Pure Wand a nice solid feel as it fills your ass.

Once you’ve warmed (or cooled) your toy, lubed it up, gently work the end of your choice against your hole. It should push your ass open fairly easily, and the curved shaft of the toy will follow it as it makes it way inside you. Allow your anal canal to grow accustomed to the Wand before you attempt any tricky spins or thrusts. Because of the weight of the toy, you’ll want to take it slowly, lest you poke or prod your delicate insides too roughly.

While the Pure Wand feels great inside you (the heat, the weight, the sleekness), the real treat (for men) comes when you press the balled end against your prostate. Unlike any other anal toy I’ve used – even toys designed for prostate massage – the Pure Wand hit the bullseye almost immediately. Remember my description of the knuckle against the back of the neck? Once the small ball found my P-spot, I felt an immediate jolt radiating from my prostate. It was so intense, my first reaction was that I’d pushed too hard, too fast. But once I realized what had happened, I began to twist and angle the Wand so I could gently grind out those sensations. Due to the size/weight of this toy, I worked carefully, but soon I was able to position the wand so I could not only pinpoint this prostate pleasure, but use my anal muscles to grip the wand aspect of the toy.

I haven’t yet experienced the elusive (at least for me) hands-free P-spot-generated orgasm with this toy, but I believe it is possible with a little patience. Having the Pure Wand inside me during masturbation certainly makes for a more intense experience, especially when it comes time to push myself over the edge.

I did experiment with the larger ball end, but actually found the smaller one more to my liking. The nice thing about having two different sized balls is men can try each one, and use the one that’s more suited to their own anatomy and experience level. And getting off with the small end, I like to know I can “upgrade” to the larger, if I outgrow the other one.

Bullballs Ball Stretcher from Oxballs

I’m doing another Oxballs ball stretcher review this week. This time around: Oxballs Bullballs Ball Stretcher, a two-inch platinum silicone stretcher to hug, tug, and stretch your nuts. Peepshow Toys sent me four different Oxballs ball toys to try out, so if this one doesn’t grab you, another one surely will. Now let’s check out the Bullballs.

The Bullballs stretcher is actually the original Oxballs stretcher. If you’ve been an Oxballs fan for awhile, you may have even used one of the early Bullballs, which they tout as their most popular ball stretcher. These days, the Bullballs has been redesigned and molded from a 3D printed prototype to give users a sleeker-looking unit and a more refined shape. As I already noted, this piece is made from body-friendly platinum silicone, which allows for more stretch, a better experience for sensitive skin, and a more comfortable fit for those who want to stretch their balls for long/extended sessions.

If you read my review for the first (of the four) Oxballs stretchers I tried a couple of weeks ago — the Oxballs Grinder Ball Stretcher — you’ll note that the length of that one was 1.75″ and it had an inner diameter of 1 ⅜”. The Bullballs, by comparison, is even longer: two inches. The inner diameter is a bit less: one inch. This gives your balls more of a tug and a tighter fit, but the walls of the Bullballs stretcher aren’t quite as thick as the Grinder piece (1 ⅞” vs 2 ⅝”), so it actually doesn’t feel quite so snug, at least on me. What it feels like is a stronger downward pull once you get the stretcher situated around the skin of your ballsac. In spite of the tighter inner ring, I found that the Bullballs was easier to get on than the Grinder. If you are struggling to pull this thing on, here are a couple of thing you can try to make it easier: wash the ring before use in hot water. This allows the silicone to warm up. Secondly, rub a little water-based lubricant inside the inner ring. This makes pulling the ring on a little easier, especially if your skin tends to grab the material. Adding a little lube will also make for more comfortable wear, especially if you’re going to leave the Bullballs on for awhile.

I actually prefer the design of this Oxballs stretcher too; there are two wider nut-shaped bands at the top and bottom of the piece, with a slightly more narrow band between the two. OXBALLS and BULL BALLS are stamped in raised letters around this section. The inner core is a smooth, uniform width from top to bottom, with a slightly curved inner edge for added comfort along the top aspect of the stretcher. The bottom of the unit is totally flat, but you could easily flip this thing before pulling it on if you’d rather have the curved part resting against the top of your balls instead of the root of your cock. You can even turn the entire stretcher inside-out if you’d like, for a smooth, almost-hourglass look with a more textured inner ring.

The best part of this toy is the silicone, which gives the ring plenty of stretch. Even a pair of large nuts should fit through the stretched opening before allowing it to tighten around the ballsac. The ring is snug, but the silicone is quite soft and squishy, so it’s pretty damn comfortable. I don’t typically like to wear ball stretchers for long periods, but this one made an extended session a lot more comfortable. The best part of wearing a ball stretcher is feeling your nuts pulled as your orgasm starts. I love that sensation. Sure, you can do it with your hand, but it’s pretty wild to feel it happen when you’re wearing a snug silicone stretcher like this one. It definitely gives me a more intense, prolonged climax. It’s also safe to use with different types of lube and very easy to clean up once you’re finished; just scrub it with some soap and water and let it air dry before storing it. The premium silicone should give this piece a long life, too!

Not only does the Bullballs make jack off sessions more fun, but it can add an element of excitement to sex as well. If you enjoy your balls teased, they’ll be more sensitive to an exploring tongue and you’ll enjoy having them played with and tugged while wrapped in this Bullballs stretcher. I’m not sure how well this unit would work for tight and/or small nuts, but I think this gear would work for most if you’re able to stretch your balls downward away from the base of your cock with your hand.

Wand by We-Vibe Rechargeable Body Massager

Today I’m reviewing the Wand by We-Vibe. As you may have already guessed, the Wand is a vibrating wand massager. Peepshow Toys sent this massager to me in exchange for a review, so let’s check it out.

I haven’t reviewed a We-Vibe toy since way back in 2013, when I wrote about the Salsa, a bite-sized pointy vibe whose surprisingly intense motor worked wonders for frenulum stimulation.

The Salsa, sadly, was put into retirement years ago, which is a shame because I kinda wore mine out. The Wand is pretty much everything the Salsa is not. It’s big, it’s round, it’s heavy. While I’m not an aficionado of wand massagers (I’ve really only tried one: The Man Wand), I’ve been enjoying videos of cocks being teased by them for years. So why haven’t I used one myself, given how they are so adept at making dicks throw ropes of cum? Well…now’s my chance. First, let’s check out what’s in the box.The Salsa, sadly, was put into retirement years ago, which is a shame because I kinda wore mine out. First, let’s check out what’s in the box.

The box is big. But it’s stylish. The Wand is being sold as a luxury vibrator and if the packaging is any indication, what’s inside is going to be good. And at first glance, everything looks wonderful. The Wand itself is tucked into a thick foam cutout which protects the massager when not in use. The entire Wand is coated in body-friendly silicone and it’s a deep purple color. There’s a ring of metallic-looking lighter purple where the handle connects with the ball-shaped head, but — other than the We-Vibe logo slightly engraved on the head and some gentle texture ringing the neck — the Wand is pretty much unadorned. Nestled under the wand cutout are two included silicone attachments, also tucked into cutouts of their own: a round “Flutter” ring, and a curved “Stroke” attachment that’s designed to pair with a penis. The only other items in the box are a magnetic charging cable and a minimal instruction booklet. The box is great for storing all the pieces and making sure everything stays together. Definitely store the parts in their respective cutouts to help preserve the shape of everything and keep all the pieces organized.

For such a high-end gadget, I found the included directions a little lacking. The parts are all labeled and We-Vibe does lay out the Wand’s functions in simple diagrams, but these do little to answer questions for a Wand newbie like myself. For instance, is the “auto-start” function the only option available? And why doesn’t the Wand seem to “auto-start” when one of the attachments are in use? How do I turn it on and keep it on? And aren’t there supposed to be vibration patterns on this thing? Luckily, We-Vibe’s website had a lot more detailed instructions, so I’ll be relating those here as we take a closer look at the Wand.

Before you can use the Wand, you’ll need to fully charge it. Like many vibrating toys these days, the Wand is easily rechargeable with a magnetic charging system. Stick the USB end into an appropriate port and easily click the magnets to the pair of flat metal pins on the end of the Wand’s handle. A soft LED light pulses while the Wand’s battery powers up. Allow it to charge until the light turns solid. The Wand can run up to 2 hours on a single charge, but I learned that using the more intense settings diminishes this time by quite a bit. Still, the Wand rumbles away for quite awhile, giving you time to enjoy a nice session before it needs to be put back on the charger. The magnetic charging method means the Wand is entirely cordless when you’re ready to use the thing. If you’ve owned or used an older Wand, you probably had to figure out where to situate yourself so an electrical outlet was handy. Being cordless, the Wand will go pretty much anywhere you want it to.

Once it’s ready to operate, what do you do? The Wand’s controls are pretty straightforward, at least after you figure out how everything works. To power the Wand on, press and hold the bottom-most button on the handle. Like I mentioned, there is an “auto-start” feature which seems to be the default. We-Vibe calls it Smart Silence and this means the Wand powers up as soon as it senses it’s close to your body. It can be a fun feature, but it can also be annoying as well. It’s certainly nice to only have the Wand running exactly when you want it to, so if you’re using it to tease certain erogenous zones intermittently, you’re not going to run the battery down when the toy’s not touching your skin. If you’ve ever cursed a sex toy for getting you off before you were ready to cum, the Smart Silence setting might end up being your favorite, because it’s an easy way to stop the motor in a hurry (just remove the Wand from the hot spot and everything cools down quickly).

I found the Smart Silence feature to be kind of disappointing when using either of the Wand’s attachments. I discovered I like a delicate touch with either of these and I had to press very firmly to activate the auto-start mode when I was using either of them. Luckily, the user can switch the Smart Silence function off and use the Wand in the traditional way. Meaning “turn it on and leave it on.” To switch from the Smart Silence mode, press and hold the upper-most of the two control buttons. This button is less prominent than the Power button, but you’ll find a slight indentation under the intensity switch. This also controls the Wand’s pulse patterns, so don’t be surprised when the Wand starts pulsing away. Once the motor is on, press the patterns switch to cycle through each setting, until you reach the steady vibe. There are 10 patterns, so keep clicking. After you reach the desired vibe setting, you can easily rev it up or tone it down with the raised switch that’s just above the two control buttons. As you might expect, push the lever up to increase the intensity, or hold it down to calm things down. Once you’ve played around with the Wand for awhile, the controls become more familiar, and you can easily adjust the intensity during use. Need to shut the motor off while using it in steady mode? Just hold the intensity lever down until the vibrator cycles from its lowest setting to Off. The Wand is still “on” at this point and all you need to do to rev it up again is push up on the intensity lever. For me, this method was a lot more user-friendly than the Smart Silence mode, but I can see where other users would enjoy the easy-stop the latter offers.

So how good is the range on this thing? Pretty damn good, as it turns out. While I really enjoyed the intensity of the Man-Wand massager (which is pretty small compared to We-Vibe’s Wand; the entire Man-Wand is shorter than the We-Vibe’s handle!), it didn’t offer a lot in the way of versatility. Plus the Man-Wand’s cock teaser is built in, so there’s no way to remove it if you’re just looking to use the head only, or use an alternate attachment. The buzzy vibrations the Man-Wand puts out feel really amazing for targeted stimulation, but there isn’t a lot of variety in how it feels. In comparison, the We-Vibe Wand really has an extensive range. On the low end, you can experience a gentle sputter, or you can power the motor all the way up to nerve-jangling. On its highest setting, the Wand is just very intense! Of course, using the intensity switch you can raise or lower the vibration intensity to any spot on the available frequency. To me, this is one of the best features of the Wand; allowing it to rev away as hard as you want, then quickly lower the intensity to a lower setting.

The pulse patterns are great, too! To switch from steady vibrations to one of the various pulse patterns, click the button under the intensity lever. Since this button is used for other functions, be sure to play around with it a bit before beginning your first session to help avoid frustration that could come by inadvertently switching settings when you were trying to do something else. As much as I enjoy the steady vibrate setting (especially cranked all the way up!), I found that using one of the pulse patterns worked better for longer edging sessions, allowing the variation in vibe intensity to tease my cock repeatedly. Once you find a selection you enjoy, you can always increase or decrease the strength of the motor using the lever. I really love putting on a jockstrap and increasing the vibrator, allowing the mesh to act as a buffer between the head of the Wand and my cock and balls. However, if I place the vibrating head directly on my skin, sometimes the higher intensity is just too much, so it can be a relief to tone down the Wand to something less vigorous.

While the We-Vibe Wand is designed to work with other massage wand attachments you might have, the company actually includes two high-quality silicone attachments inside the box. In case you were wondering, the head has a diameter of just under 2.25 inches, so check your other wand strap-ons to see how well they might fit with We-Vibe’s Wand. Each of the included attachments sports a round ring that fits around the massage head fairly easily. The “Flutter” attachment is round with 360 degrees of perpendicular “ticklers” of varying lengths protruding from an inner ring. The Flutter ring tempers the strong vibrations from the wand head and allows for a more focused, less intense direct stimulation. While I enjoy focused vibrations on various erogenous zones (balls and nipples, for instance), the Wand head can be a little too intense and rumbly for certain overly-sensitive spots, so using the Flutter enables you to tone this down a little and angle the ticklers to tease just the right spot without feeling discomfort. The longer tendrils flutter more than the shorter ones do, so if you can see a distinction between the varying lengths (especially when paired with a desired vibrator intensity), the design of this attachment allows you to easily position it so the preferred section is just where you want it. Personally, I found the Flutter ring worked better on bare skin, especially on sensitive parts like my nipples. Changing the angle of the wand — even slightly — can alter the way things feel, so play around with the positioning.

The other attachment — the Stroke — is designed to accommodate a cock. With flexible silicone “wings” rising up from either side of the massage head ring, you can use this attachment whether your cock is completely flaccid or full-blown erect. Unlike totally enclosed “stroker tubes” that are often paired with wand massagers for penis stimulation, the design of this one is open ended, so pretty much anyone, regardless of length or thickness, can enjoy this silicone add-on. The wings themselves are pretty thick and sturdy and deliver some good vibrations while the wand is moving, and they’re just flexible enough to spread for larger cocks and offer some “flutter” of their own when the Wand’s vibrator is cranked up to a higher intensity.

While the inner aspect of each curve is totally smooth, those who like (or need) some texture while masturbating can rub the underside of their cock against seven raised ribs that line the bottom of this stroker sleeve. It’s not an incredible amount of texture, but it does feel nice if you enjoy stroking against something that isn’t completely smooth. To change the experience a little, add a little water-based lube to the Stroke attachment. (Both of these silicone attachments, as well as the silicone-encased wand itself, are compatible with water-based lubricants.) When I tried the Wand in the shower, I found that using lube on the Stroke piece really offered a nice variation. Yes, that’s right: the We-Vibe Wand is waterproof! So be sure to enjoy it in the shower. Just take care not to slip, especially if you’re using lubrication. And needless to say, you should never charge your Wand in or around water.

While both the Flutter and the Stroke pieces are very high quality silicone and stay in place at even the highest settings, I am not sure I’d recommend the We-Vibe Wand solely for these attachments. While both of them really worked well for me, the Wand itself is so large that it’s not as easy to position and hold at just the right angle (and this will vary from user to user, depending on where you like to place it) when using an attachment that’s strapped tightly to the head. For a winged-style massager, a toy like the hand-held (and very comfortably so) Pulse massager seems to be a more comfortable experience for me, at least when I am going for a long edging/teasing session. Even the much-more-compact Man Wand is lighter and less bulky than We-Vibe’s entry in the massage wand market. Still, the We-Vibe Wand isn’t overly uncomfortable to hold, it’s just sort of large; over 12 inches long from the bottom of the handle to the end of the massage head. The soft silicone and a curved/ergonomically-designed handle make this long massager fairly easy to grip during a long play session.

What else can I say about the Wand? Even though it’s encased in silicone, the Wand is an external-use toy. However, insert one of your favorite non-vibrating anal toys (I tried it with the Avant Pride Power Play butt plug) and press the vibrating head against the base of the toy. Nice, huh? ? The Wand also works wonderfully as an “all over” body massager. It’s not just for turning you on or getting you off (although it really does both of those things really well); use it on your shoulders, neck, back…wherever things feel tense or achy. More than once in the past couple of weeks I pulled the Wand out to relax my upper body after shoveling snow.

Let’s not forget the Wand is a good couples’ toy, too! Whether you want something for foreplay, or want to try the different options to help each other masturbate to orgasm, the Wand is completely versatile. The attachments are certainly designed with all sex organs in mind. And even if your playmate isn’t in the same room with you, a We-Vibe app allows two users to connect and control the Wand remotely. Disclosure: I didn’t test drive this feature, but I want you to know it is available if you’ve been looking for a vibrating sex toy that can be controlled by another user via an app. I did, however, pair the Wand — through Bluetooth —with the We-Connect app on my own smartphone and thought it was a handy way to control the Wand without having to fumble with the buttons. The best part about using the app during a solo session is finding and saving your favorite vibration settings and being able to activate them just by tapping your phone screen. You could also certainly hand the phone over to a playmate and allow another person to control your Wand session. This sort of technology can certainly add a new dimension to wand play and is definitely something to experiment with if you are so inclined.

The Wand is definitely a great massager for those who love wand massagers. It’s so versatile and a real powerhouse, but its intensity can easily be dialed down for those times when you want or need slow, delicate stimulation. Let’s not forget it’s covered in silicone, comes with two fun attachments, and can be taken into the shower! It’s pricey, so I’m hesitant to recommend it to a first-timer who might be on a budget and unsure of whether or not a wand massager will work well for them. But if you get off on good vibrations, enjoy intense powerful rumbling but can also get off on less vigorous teasing, you’re probably going to love the Wand from We-Vibe.

Night King Dildo from Uberrime — Fire & Ice

With Game of Thrones premiering its eighth and final season this past weekend, it seems like good timing to post a review for a beautiful silicone dildo inspired by one of its characters: The Night King. I’m doing this review for Peepshow Toys, who stocks the original Night King Dildo, as well as this exclusive “Fire and Ice” version. Both are handcrafted pieces designed by Marco from Uberrime.

I’ve been a big fan of Marco’s work for awhile. I reviewed two smaller (Essential and Splendid – both 6 inches) dildos from the collection last year, but I admit I’ve had my eye on the original Night King cock since I first saw it. It’s a thick nine-inch cock with a swollen head, curved shaft, and lots of texture. The piece itself is an eye-catching marvel, with whorls of blues and silver befitting the ice of the White Walkers’ leader.

Marco designed a second version of the Night King, adding a bold mixture of red and yellow to the original blue/silver colors. Visually, the piece looks stunning. The design alone make this piece worth having. Like all Uberrime toys, the Night King is hand-poured with platinum silicone. Since each one is done individually, the exact color patterns are all unique. In the “Fire and Ice” version, the head is bright red mixed with bright yellow. In mine, the yellow pours from the tip and runs down the underside of the shaft, almost as if the color has been ejaculated from inside the cock. The red and yellow mix, gradually incorporating with the blues and silver in beautiful swirls.

There’s another big difference between the “Fire and Ice” version and the original: they are each made with a different type of silicone. The original is made with a firmer, medium (Dragon Skin Shore 10A) silicone. While I didn’t try the original version, one of the smaller pieces I reviewed (the Uberrime Essential) is made from the same stuff. The “Fire and Ice” version of the Night King is manufactured with a medium-soft silicone (approximately 8A), which gives the toy a softer feel. You can squeeze it and feel quite a bit of give, and it’s much more bendy than the firmer 10A silicone. Since the piece is quite long compared to many of the other Uberrime dildos (9 inches, with 8 inches insertable), I was pretty happy to have been sent the softer one, since it will bend more easily as it makes its way all the way in to the base. If you prefer a stiffer/firmer dildo, you may want to try the original Night King (pictured below, right).

The length, girth and texturing are the same in both versions, since the dildos both spring from the same mold. The head has a circumference of 5.25 inches (1.67″ diameter) and the shaft’s circumference is 6 inches (1.91″ diameter at its thickest part). If you like a toy with a lot of texture, the Night King has it. Like many of the other dildos in the collection, there’s a very realistic head on this toy. Very defined curves sink into a deep ridge just under the head. I love dildos that have heads like this, because it feels so nice sliding it in and out of my hole. Even though this monster measures 9 inches, I think I had just as much fun popping the head in and out. The softer silicone makes it a little less firm if you like to bear down on it, but it still feels great. Once you push past that deep groove, the shaft rises up in a delicious firm ring that wraps around the upper portion of the shaft. This, too, is a trait seen in other Uberrime dildos and it really feels great for hole stimulation. This second ridge is the same width as the head, so you’re definitely going to feel it.

What makes the Night King a little different from the others that I have tried is the intense texturing. I’m assuming these are veins, but what do I know? They are thick and they are defined, almost like tread on metal. They give the curved shaft an almost skeletal appearance and the way it feels while thrusting the toy is just amazing. I’m typically not into overly-textured anal toys, but the thick ribs on this dildo coupled with softer silicone felt great. I still haven’t been able to do some deep thrusting with this toy, but — again — the softer silicone makes it easier to take. I know I’ll reach the base eventually. Not only does the shaft bend pretty nicely as it works more deeply inside you, but you can squeeze this thing and feel the ribs compress. As with all silicone anal toys, the material will quickly warm to your body temperature and make the dildo feel very lifelike inside you. While the colors and design of the Night King might look out of this world, it still feels like a real dick once you start moving it in and out and it starts to warm up.

The shaft has a nice curve to it and the softer silicone makes it easier (for me, at least) to take more of it. If you prefer a stiffer shaft, that’s another reason to consider the original Night King. I still haven’t managed to take all eight inches, but I’m getting there. The shaft gets thicker the deeper you go, and the root is the thickest point of all. While I enjoy popping the head and that defined ring on the upper shaft, I look forward to finally working that last bit of wide shaft into me. You don’t have to worry about losing this one, like all Uberrime toys, there’s a wide anal-safe base on it. It’s designed perfectly to allow the dildo to stand on its own, and — even though it’s flat — it works perfectly as a suction cup, so it’s pretty ideal for those who want to crouch over the toy and sit on it, or back themselves up on it while the Night King is mounted to a wall or another smooth surface.

I’m definitely recommending this toy to anyone wanting a longer/bigger silicone dildo with lots of added texture. The softer silicone gives it just the right amount of flexibility and the way the “Fire and Ice” Night King looks just blows my mind.
