Bathmate Hydromax Penis Pump

I’ve wanted to try a Bathmate penis pump for awhile and now Peepshow Toys is finally giving me the chance! This week I’m looking at one of the Hydromax pumps, which are penis pumps that not only utilize water, but are designed to be used in the bath or shower. Let’s take a look at this thing. Available in three different sizes, Peepshow Toys sent me the mid-range version — the Hydromax7 — which is designed to accommodate a penis with an erect length between 5 and 7 inches.

There are two other models: the Hydromax5 (for those erections measuring up to 5 inches) and the Hydromax9 (accommodates a cock from 7 to 9 inches when erect).

Right out of the package I could tell the Bathmate pump wasn’t like other penis pumps I’ve tried. It’s entirely manually operated, but there is no attached pump or hose. The actual pumping is done by a bellows that is affixed to the bottom of the pump cylinder. This part of the pump actually has two separate components: the black squeezable bellows and a lighter colored “comfort insert” that pops inside this piece and helps obtain a better airtight seal during use. While I have never used one of the original Bathmate models, I understand that the comfort insert is a new upgrade for the Hydromax pumps, which also have been outfitted with a redesigned valve cap at the top of the pump for improved performance. The pump cylinder is made of hard, clear plastic that is completely transparent, so you’ll get a good look at your dick while using your Bathmate. In addition to the clear version, Peepshow Toys is also stocking the Hydromax7 in a nice light blue version (also transparent), so take your pick. If all your other penis pumps are clear, the blue might be a nice way to find the Bathmate quickly. Regardless of color, the Bathmate pump feels good and sturdy, unlike many cheaper pumps that aren’t really designed for long-term use.

As the name would suggest, the Bathmate pumps are to be used with water while bathing or showering. I first tried mine in the tub (while standing up), but had a better experience using it while showering. Even though the method for pumping with this thing is quite different than any other pump I’ve tried, it still was a pretty straightforward process. Luckily, there’s a comprehensive user’s guide included, complete with easy-to-understand diagrams. Remove the comfort insert from the bellows and fill the cylinder completely with water. Be sure to click the little black pip at the top of the pump either to the left or right while filling. Once filled, ease the comfort insert back into the pump and slide your penis inside, pressing the padded ridge of the comfort insert firmly against the skin of your lower belly and ball sac (Bathmate cautions to make sure “your testicles are well clear”). The comfort insert is actually angled on one side, so you can either position the sloped portion against your balls, or spin the pump 180 degrees and angle this part against your lower belly. It’s all about comfort. (NOTE: the cylinder is labeled with a measurement gauge that runs in a vertical direction. If you choose to position the comfort insert the opposite way, you can easily twist the clear tube so the measurement reading is visible in this new position.) Once you have the pump pressed firmly against your body, use a finger to work the black pip back into the center position, which will allow water from inside the device to be expelled during pumping.

To pump, you’ll pull down on the Bathmate and compress the bellows. Water will be blown out of the top of the pump (make sure it’s not going to overshoot the tub and soak your floor!) and you will soon feel the vacuum working on your cock. Without a traditional squeeze bulb or handle to create the vacuum, those with weakness in their hands might have an issue working the Bathmate pumps.¹ If you’re having trouble getting an airtight seal, you might also have to trim some body hair around the root of your cock or around the place where the pump ridge presses against your body. You’ll definitely know if the pump is working because you can feel the vacuum create suction on your cock almost instantly. For comparison’s sake, it should be noted that the pumps in the Hydromax series deliver 35% more pumping power than the original Hydro pump.² Bathmate recommends no more than 15 minutes a day with your pump, and suggests three 5-minute sessions. I found that this plan worked quite well for me, because it gave me time to examine the effects the pumping was having on my dick before continuing.

So how did it work? I’m surprised to say I was very impressed with the (short term) results! While I enjoy using more traditional penis pumps to help extend my cock length and thicken my head and shaft (while inside the pump, that is), the Bathmate had a different result for me. While my erect cock stands about 7 inches and has a nice thickness, my flaccid penis has never been that impressive in comparison. I found that after using the Bathmate, my flaccid penis looked much thicker, longer and fuller. After the first five minute session, my penis slid much more easily into the Bathmate for the subsequent two pump sessions. While I honestly didn’t notice any permanent gains during the five days that I used the Bathmate, I was completely happy with how my penis looked when it came out of the pump. Since it’s so easy to use while showering, I can’t wait to try it for a bit of pre-sex pumping, just to give my soft dick a little visual boost without having to strap on a cock ring like I usually do. It was definitely fun to pump before masturbating, though I have to say I’m probably not going to take an extra shower every time I want to jack off. The “water” element of the Bathmate might make pump sessions a bit of a hassle for some users, but if you’re looking for a solid pump to use on a regular basis, having one that you can leave on while cleaning up in the shower might be just what you’re looking for.

Another thing I noticed about the Hydromax7 is that the pumping action itself is fairly comfortable compared to some of the other “heavy duty” pumps I’ve used. You can definitely feel (and see) the vacuum doing what it does, but I didn’t feel the need to use the quick release function on the pump at any time during my sessions, as I often do while pumping with other devices. It was nice not to have a bruised dick or puffy rings around my cock when I was finished as well, but that probably has more to do with the short 5-minute sessions than anything else. My dick definitely looked thicker and more engorged, though, which is more than I could have hoped for. I’ll be sure to update the review to document any long-term changes I notice while using the Hydromax on a regular basis.

If you like to monitor your progress during the pumping itself, the measurement guide that runs along the top of the Hydromax7 pump starts at 4 inches and runs to just above 7. Metric measurements run along the other side. The solid black bellows comprise the bottom inches of the pump and not being able to see the lower portion of your cock while you’re pumping might disappoint some users, especially if you’re used to pumps that are clear from base to tip. It was also a little strange not to have some kind of pressure monitor on the pump to make sure things are not getting too intense inside, but it really didn’t feel like I was overdoing it at any time, despite the sensation of constant pressure on my dick. If things do start to feel uncomfortable — either the pressure feels too great, you’re feeling discomfort, or your cock needs to be adjusted — a quick press of the quick release valve (the ring between the top of the cylinder and the black pip) will immediately decompress the inside of the pump chamber and bring things back to normal. Be sure to give yourself a trial run of this feature before pumping up with too much pressure, just to familiarize yourself with the process.

One of the differences I noted while using the Bathmate is that I haven’t had to lubricate my dick while pumping, which is something I’ve had to do with every other pump I’ve used. With the non-Bathmate pumps, lube helps keep my cock from getting rubbed raw and also helps give me a better vacuum seal. With the blanket of water surrounding my penis inside the Bathmate, I didn’t need any lube and my cock felt fine after my pump session. It was a lot easier to clean up after, too, without having to scrub lubricant residue from the inside of the cylinder. In fact, clean-up for the Bathmate was pretty simple. Just remove the comfort insert from the bottom, give the inside of the pump a quick rinse with some warm soapy water, and leave it someplace to dry completely. If you need a deeper clean, you can use a bottle brush with your soapy water to easily scrub it out.

Ready to have your own Bathmate penis pumping experience? Find the Bathmate Hydromax in three sizes at Peepshow Toys. Each size is currently being stocked in crystal clear or aqua blue models. Check the sizing chart above to ensure you order the correct model based on the length of your penis when erect, as well as the girth (circumference) when hard. Use the following link:

Oxballs Grinder Silicone Ball Stretcher

The Grinder Silicone Ball Stretcher from Oxballs is just one of the new additions to Peepshow Toys for those looking for some nut stretching fun. I’ll be doing reviews for four separate Oxballs pieces in the coming days, so if you’ve been wanting to wrap or tug your nuts with a decent silicone piece, you’ll want to check these out.

The Grinder is a weighty ring that has a height of 1.75″, which offers a decent amount of stretch for users who have played with these types of toys before. The inner diameter of the Grinder is 1⅜” and the outer diameter is 2⅝” — this is a chunky ball stretcher! Even though it’s made of silicone (opposed to metal), it weighs 3.5 ounces, so it’s going to offer a decent amount of tug on those nuts. Due to the size, Oxballs recommends this piece for those with medium to larger nuts.

The ring is made (in Oxballs’ Los Angeles facility) out of premium silicone, a great body-friendly material. Not only is silicone a better choice for those with sensitive skin, but it allows for longer sessions. Both in inner hole and the outer aspect of the Grinder ring sports a diagonal groove texture, which not only gives the stretcher an interesting look, but helps it grip the flesh of your ballsac during use. It gives your partner something to rub during sex, if you choose to put this thing on while having some fun. The ring itself is nice and thick, which gives it some heft, and helps to keep those balls from pulling up while you’re wearing it. That’s what makes ball stretchers so much fun; your balls want to pull up during climax and with the Grinder holding them back, you may experience a prolonged/more intense orgasm. I typically do, which is the main reason I enjoy wearing one from time to time. The thickness of the Grinder stretcher really keeps your balls tugged down.

Another reason to put this on is to stretch your sac and make your balls look more pronounced. Like ’em licked, sucked, or played with during sex? A ball stretcher could be just what you need to put them on display and make them more sensitive to stimulation (your own, or a playmate’s). Once you get this thing on, try putting on a jockstrap, your favorite pair of undergear, or a tight pair of jeans; the Grinder stretcher will likely make for a more defined bulge, and the silicone material makes wearing it for longer sessions more comfortable. It’s still a tight fit, at least on me, so make sure to wear it around the house for awhile before venturing out with it on, just to make sure you can handle a long-wear session. Unlike a metal stretcher, though, this one is a lot easier to remove in a pinch, so even if you need to duck into a restroom, relief isn’t far away.

The silicone used for this gear is pretty soft, which makes it easier to stretch the ring when you’re putting it on or taking it off. Just slide your fingers through the inner hole and slowly stretch it open so you can work both of your balls through to the other side. Silicone warms nicely to your body temperature, so it’s a good choice for comfortable, long-term wear. The silicone is soft enough to make longer sessions manageable, but the grip this thing has (at least for me), makes you aware that you’ve got it on the entire time. Want an even tighter fit? I found that you can actually twist the ring inside-out, giving the Grinder an even snugger inner diameter. The difference isn’t huge, but it was certainly noticeable to me.

Do you have a difficult time putting on a ball stretcher, especially a thicker one like this? Try adding a small amount of water-based lubricant to the inner portion of the ring, which makes it go on easier and gives it less “grab” during use. You might want to warm up the stretcher before putting it on as well; just run it under some warm or hot water for a bit and the silicone heats up easily. This stretcher also cleans up after use with some hot water and soap. Just let it dry completely before storing.

In the end, I think the Oxballs Grinder is a great ball stretcher for those who have already used this type of gear before, or know they want something fairly thick and weighty. If you’re a beginner at ball play, unsure of this type of device is too advanced for you, or have a set of smaller/tighter balls, you might want to start out with something like the Oxballs Cock-T Cock Ring. Made of the same silicone, but with a thickness of 1 inch, this cock ring can actually double as a somewhat thinner ball stretcher! Give that one a shot, before upgrading to one of the thicker Oxballs models.

But with the easy stretch on/off of the silicone and the soft comfort for long-wear sessions, the Grinder strap is perfect for those who want something thick and tight without having to worry about screwing around with a solid metal ball stretcher or a possibly-uncomfortable leather strap-style stretcher. Camo Cock Rings from Blush Novelties

You never can tell what fun stuff the people at Blush Novelties will come up with next. Peepshow Toys just added a few new cock rings from the Blush Performance line and asked if I’d like to try them out. I’m always up to try on a new cock ring or two, so here goes. The first review of 2019! The silicone Camo Cock Ring from Blush Novelties, available in two color choices.

I’m not typically a huge fan of camouflage as a color and/or design choice (this means you, people in the neighborhood who outfitted your front porch with camo skirting), but Blush got it right when they made these two rings. Ring #1 is colored with a mix of green, brown, and black, what people might usually think of when they envision camouflage. Ring #2 has the typical camo pattern, but uses two shades of blue mixed with white to create a colorful cock ring that really looks great.

Both rings spring from the same mold. They each measure 1.75″ in diameter, with an inner (unstretched) diameter of 1.5″. That actually sounds small, but the material used in these rings has a good deal of stretch. And that makes for my favorite type of cock ring: one that stays snug in its unstretched state, but has enough give to pull it over my balls and erect cock without a lot of discomfort or tricky maneuvers. The band of each Camo ring measures 0.5″, which isn’t a thick hefty ring by any means, but plenty wide enough for a snug fit so it can do what cock rings do. I like that this ring has a nice flat edge to it. Rounded cock rings can be fun, too, but sometimes you want something that’s less pronounced.

These Blush Performance cock rings are made of silicone. Silicone is a great material for sex toys. It’s odor free, offers a nice tight fit but allows the rings to stretch when you’re putting them on or taking them off. It’s a body safe material, so you won’t have to worry about any potentially weird chemicals that might irritate your skin. Silicone cleans up easily with soap and water. The silicone gives these Camo rings a smooth, soft feel with a nice satiny texture. Nothing that’s going to grab at your skin or body hair. Silicone rings generally last a lot longer than those cheaper rings made of rubber or elastomers that can break at the most inconvenient times.

The colors on these rings are great! Like I said, not a huge fan of camouflage, but I couldn’t be happier with the traditional camo ring. The green is an olive hue, the brown is nicely muted, and the black is a soft charcoal. The three colors are blended perfectly. With only a half-inch band, they really could have screwed this up, but the blending looks perfect. Whether you want a camo cock ring for fantasy play, or to gift to your favorite military man, or just because you like the way it looks, this is one fun ring. Here’s a tip: the inner aspect and the outer aspect each have a slightly different color pattern and you can easily flip the ring inside-out to change its look.

I was looking forward to seeing the blue version even before I received the rings, and turns out it looks even better in person! Dark blue is swirled with a bold bright blue and then mixed with a white that’s tinged with a hint of light blue. Like the green ring, the colors compliment each other perfectly and Blush did a great job blending them together. It’s actually hard to find blue cock rings, and the colors on this one really make it stand out. Even if you’re not crazy about camouflage, I think you’d like this blue Camo ring. The colors really pop and blend perfectly, and frankly the ring just looks good wrapped around the base of your cock and balls.

Putting the Camo rings on couldn’t be easier. Just grasp the edges of each side of the ring and slowly stretch it open. For me, it’s easier to push my balls through first, and then pull my cock through after. Once you’ve got everything through the center of the ring, you can easily adjust it to fit comfortably around the base of your cock and balls. Prefer a ring at the base of your shaft and/or just around your balls? The snug inner diameter makes the Camo ring pretty versatile in this regard. If you need a break from the cock ring, or you’re done using it, slip your fingers under the band and gently stretch it open, popping your balls and cock through one at a time. Easy on, easy off!

What else can I say about these fun new rings from Blush Novelties? They clean up easy and the small size make them a snap to store. Headed out for some fun? Slip one in your pocket. Need a cock ring for a trip? Simply tuck one into you bag. If you can’t decide which color suits you, why not get both? I always keep extra cock rings on hand, because once guys see you wearing one, they usually want to try one out themselves.

Thanks to Peepshow Toys for sending these along for me to try. Do you like the size and shape of the Camo ring, but want to see it in another design? Check out my review for the Blush Performance Glo Cock Ring (review coming soon). It’s the same ring, but in light blue or white…and this one glows in the dark! Aneros Helix Syn Trident Prostate Massager

The Aneros Helix Syn Trident prostate massager. Whew. Let’s break down that name one word at a time. Aneros. A company that’s been around for more than 15 years and whose products are almost all designed for prostate massage. Helix. Probably the most popular model of prostate massager Aneros has. The Helix is suggested for those who have little or no experience with prostate massage. It’s got a nice curve to angle the device right toward the prostate and a slightly enlarged head to make stimulating this P-spot even easier. Syn.

A few years back, Aneros decided to coat many of their popular hard plastic massagers in a silky smooth outer layer of body-friendly silicone. The Syn line was born. If you’re looking for a softer surface and a satiny smooth experience, you’ll likely enjoy this luxurious feature. Trident. The Trident line is Aneros’ newest offering, a re-design of some of their well-received models, offering dual external stimulation as well as more range of movement as you use the anal massager hands-free. So far, the Helix model is the only one offering both the Trident design and the silicone-coating of the Syn line. Peepshow Toys has added this toy to their collection and I’ve been using it for the last month so I can offer a review. Here goes.

I reviewed the original version of this prostate massager for Peepshow Toys last year. The Aneros Helix Trident is pretty much the same toy, minus the silicone outer layer. I honestly wasn’t sure if there needed to be another version of the same toy, but I was curious to try out the new one to see if the experience was any different. And it was.

The Helix Trident is actually a re-imagining of the original Helix in that it twists the outer portion of the toy into a, well, trident shape, offering an extra external stimulation tab. The original had a sole tab for perineum massage (and external prostate massage) and the Trident adds a second tab to rub that Kundalini spot near the tailbone. I enjoyed the Trident design over the original because these tabs were way more comfortable, especially during long prostate massage sessions. I’m happy to report that the silicone coating in the Syn version makes these tabs even more comfortable. You can certainly still feel the nubs working your pressure points, but the material is softer and more gentle than the hard plastic of the uncoated Helix Trident.

The silicone layer also makes penetration more relaxed as well. While I didn’t have much issue with sliding the white hard plastic version inside my hole, the silicone is so satiny that it went all the way in with no effort. I honestly thought the silicone might make the toy “grabbier” during penetration. Sometimes silicone toys, depending on the texture, will snag on the skin as you work the toy in to the ass, but the silicone Aneros uses in this massager had absolutely no tug. Of course, I lubricated the entire shaft of the toy with my favorite water-based lube — Sliquid Sassy — so this always helps. If I had to pick a drawback to the silicone version over the plastic, I’d say you might have fewer lube choices with the Syn. Often times silicone toys will react negatively to silicone-based lubricants, which work really well with the Aneros plastic models. Silicone lube typically makes for longer sessions (the stuff just never needs reapplying), but the Sliquid water-based lube actually worked really well with the Syn version and never needed a reapplication, so I can’t find any fault with it in this regard.

Like most of the Aneros prostate massagers, the Helix isn’t a large toy, and it’s definitely a good one for beginners. Check out the diagram above to get an idea of the size. It’s not to scale, but there’s a quarter side-by-side, for comparison. Here are some measurements: A: Tip width = 1.08″ B: Mid-range width = 0.95″ C. Stem to perineum distance = 1.75″ D. Insertable length = 4 inches. During penetration, aim the curve of the tip toward your prostate for proper stimulation and the perineum tab (the red one) should rest against your taint. Once fully inserted, the K-tab (the white one) will rest just behind your hole and will provide external massage to that pressure point. Not sure exactly where your prostate is? I like to recommend this informative two-minute video to help out those who are trying prostate massage for the first time: How to Find & Massage Your Prostate (using a Gatorade bottle).

One of the features of the Trident upgrade (in addition to the extra pressure point nub) is the neck re-design, which allows the massager to move more freely — and in slightly different directions — if you’re able to achieve some hands-free action with the Aneros. While any Aneros can be used for general anal stimulation and prostate massage, the real treat comes when you can maneuver the toy through anal muscle contractions alone. I think the reason many are disappointed with their new Aneros — based on some reviews I have seen — is because they expected to have these amazing hands-free prostate massage experiences without having taken the time to learn the process and perfect the techniques.

To help those wanting more information on how exactly to get the most out of an Aneros prostate massager, I put together a list of videos and tutorials. These are resources and first-hand accounts that can help instruct and guide you on your Aneros journey. Even if you aren’t able to master some of the techniques right away, the vivid descriptions of what is possible will encourage you and help you work toward goals of your own. Here’s a link to the tutorials; it’s one of the most popular spots on my site and hope it helps those trying to learn these techniques:

ANEROS TUTORIALS

The included videos are valuable tools as well, so you can see the Aneros prostate massagers in action and see how the body reacts when things start to happen. One of my favorite Aneros video demonstrations is on the Tutorial list and I’ve just discovered an even longer video clip on Xtube from the same user. I’ll link to that just below. While he’s using the Helix Syn massager (the external components are different on this model), the techniques and body response are pretty much the same.

Aneros Helix Syn Orgasm Session from Xtube member TallAnerosUser (sadly now deleted) runs nearly 13 minutes long and features 8 different P-spot orgasms. “This is me cumming my brains out,” says TAU. No kidding! Even more amazing, he claims to have cut the video session short because “my flatmates came in and I didn’t want them to hear me moan.” This video is not only nice to look at, but is a good example of what’s possible if you take the time to learn and perfect the Aneros techniques.

The techniques basically involve using your anal muscles to maneuver the toy inside you. Once you get the hang of it, the Aneros will not only move in and out (slightly), but the Trident’s “Multi-Axial Motion Architecture” design will allow it to move in other directions as well, which means even more potential prostate stimulation. The good news — at least for me — is that the silicone coating not only makes insertion easier, but allows the Helix to move easier on its own. This version is my first silicone-coated Aneros and I’m sorry I didn’t try one sooner. I honestly felt that the slick hard plastic would move more freely than silicone, but it really wasn’t the case. I still haven’t been able to achieve the multiple prostate orgasms (as seen in the above video), but I think it will be more likely if I keep trying with the Helix Syn Trident model. It really does move a lot more, and that’s a good thing! I’m actually hoping Aneros releases a Syn version of my favorite Trident: the Maximus. With the Maximus being a little bit larger and thicker, that just might be the silicone Aneros that gets me there. But in the meanwhile, I’m really loving this one.

If you’ve ever thought about giving an Aneros a try, I’d definitely recommend this one. Find the Aneros Helix Syn Trident at Peepshow Toys using the following link:

Charlie Horse Milk It Prostate Massager from SquarePegToys®

Today I’m looking at another butt plug from SquarePegToys®: the Charlie Horse Milk It prostate massager. Peepshow Toys sent me this plug along with its mate, the Charlie Horse Kidney, which I reviewed last December. As you can see from my side-by-side snapshot of the two plugs, they are remarkably similar in size and shape; the Milk It has a jagged-looking outer edge designed to deliver more stimulation to the prostate gland.

Like the Kidney, the Milk It plug is made of SuperSoft silicone, so it’s soft and squishy. The silicone SquarePegToys® uses to manufacture its toys is 100% American-sourced and platinum cured. Being silicone, this sex toy is body-safe, which is great for anal play. Not only is this plug comfortable, but you won’t have to worry about potentially harmful chemicals leeching from the toy into your sensitive anal lining. Like the Kidney (and many other SquarePegToys® items) the Milk It plug is a deep bronze color and has a beautiful metallic-looking appearance.

Here are some measurements I took: the Milk It runs an overall length of 6 inches, with an insertable length of about 4.75 inches. For a prostate toy, it’s fairly thick, with a maximum width of around 2.25” at the chunkiest point of the plug. There’s a generous (and fairly thick) neck that runs 1.25” in length with a max diameter of 1.4 inches. The anal-safe base is a soft and pliable and measures 3.5” along the flat bottom.

As I did with the Kidney, I used an oil-based lubricant called The Butters that goes on fairly thick and turns to a slippery liquid once body heat warms it up. Since it doesn't need to be reapplied constantly, The Butters works very well with the bigger items from SquarePegToys®. You want to make sure you’re using plenty of lube with this plug. Even though it’s soft and has a lot of give to it, the wider part can be a little difficult to insert. Pre-lube your hole and don’t be afraid to add even more lube to the thicker parts of the toy as needed. As with any anal toy, take your time during penetration. Go ahead and get your (lubed) fingers in there to grease your tight hole while compressing the wider aspects of the plug. The soft silicone is squishy enough to help work it into tight spots. Once you push the chunkier areas up inside you, the Milk It is very comfortable for its size.

You can tell the people who design the plugs and dildos at SquarePegToys® actually use the stuff they make and have taken suggestions from their customers when it comes to releasing sex toys that work wonderfully well. The shape is perfect and the fit is snug and filling, without being uncomfortable. I’m sure the Milk It in a firmer silicone (Peepshow Toys now stocks the black FIRM version) would apply more pressure to the prostate, but the zigzag edge on this toy still gives a pretty amazing massage.

Standing up and walking around with the Milk It inserted gave me more of an intense experience, but it was still fairly exceptional using it while maintaining a stationary position, especially whenever I’d apply some firm pressure with the tips of my fingers to the base of the plug, working the textured edge into my prostate gland. A good indicator that an anal toy is working well with my own prostate is the presence of precum before orgasm, and the precum was really leaking while using this plug. The orgasm itself was unbelievably intense, probably because the plug is quite bulky and gives the constricting anal muscles something to grab onto and grind against during climax. The Milk It's distinct ridges definitely increase stimulation as well.

I can say the Charlie Horse Milk It is now my favorite of all the SquarePegToys® items I’ve tried. I kind of wish Peepshow Toys would add a firmer version just for those who desire something with a little less give (which I think would make for even more acute prostate stimulation), but I honestly thought the SuperSoft silicone worked damn well for a more leisurely and protracted prostate massage session.

Helix Syn V Vibrating Prostate Massager

This might just be the Aneros you’ve been waiting for! Have you always wanted to try a prostate massager from the Aneros company but weren’t sure which one to buy? Not sure if it was big enough, or too big? Or plastic or silicone? Or maybe you wanted one of their vibrating Vice models but it just seemed too big for your tastes or experience level.

Today I am reviewing the newest Aneros massager for Peepshow Toys and it just might be my favorite. The Aneros Helix Syn V is a vibrating prostate massager that’s super slim, but packs an amazing multi-speed and multi-function vibe into the slender stem. Whoa. Let’s take a closer look.

Like the other Helix models, the V version is touted as being good for beginners, but a lot of users end up sticking with their Helix because it works so well. It has 3.6 inches of insertable depth with a slightly bulbous tip measuring an inch wide. It tapers into a slightly smaller bulge (0.9 inches) before dropping into a more slender neck. The neck is angled to work the tip into the user’s prostate, for some direct stimulation.

The newer Helix models are of the “Trident” variety, which sport dual external massage knobs on either end of the base. Not only does the base help keep the toy safely anchored during use, but it provides stimulation to both your perineum and tailbone area via nerves in these spots while your prostate is getting massaged internally.

While the Aneros plastic models are smooth and easy to use, the V sports a satiny coating of black silicone, just like all their other “Syn” products. Properly lubed (I use Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle), the silicone massagers work just as well as their plastic counterparts, and might just be a little easier for your hole to grip, especially if you’re trying to manipulate the plug using just your ass muscles.

Aneros massagers certainly offer stimulation to your hole and prostate, but many users love to learn how to work the plugs in and out using just muscle movement. It can take a lot of practice (and patience) to achieve this, but it it’s certainly possible. Consider checking out this directory on the Aneros site forum if you want to learn more about this specific type of anal play/prostate massage and read about first-hand experiences in using these sex toys.

Of course, the pièce de résistance of this newest Aneros model is the internal vibrator, which adds a whole new level to prostate play. I’m not sure how they got such a powerful little vibe embedded in this thing, but—for the size—it packs quite the punch. Let’s take a look at the vibe itself.

First of all it’s rechargeable. I can remember earlier vibrating Aneros toys that needed a battery inserted into them to work. This new model is not only USB rechargeable, but it comes with about the most clever charging port I’ve ever seen on a toy. Like many newer rechargeable sex toys, it has magnetic leads. Now these typically work well, but I’ve sometimes had issues attaching them and keeping them connected. The V charging base is molded to snugly hold the massager in place, so everything will stay put until it’s completely charged. The flat edge keeps the toy from slipping or coming loose, as well. And I love that the bright red connector makes it so easy to remember which charging cord goes with the V. If you own a lot of rechargeable sex toys with plain black cords, you know what I am talking about.

Once your battery is charged up, you’re ready to play. Unlike the more expensive (and larger) Vice 2 model, the smaller V does not come with a remote control, so you’re going to have to operate this toy with the button that’s attached to the base of the toy. Toys like these can be a lot more difficult to control, not only because they lack fewer control buttons, but because the button is in a place that you can’t see once it’s inserted up your butt.

I always recommend learning how to turn these types of toys on and off (and how to change their settings) while the toy is in your hands (and not your butt). It’s fairly easy to operate once you learn the ins an outs, but it takes a little practice to remember how many clicks to get this thing up and running and then switch the intensity level or to change it to a vibrating pattern.

The Helix Syn V comes equipped with three different intensity levels, and each of them is pretty powerful, given the small size of this prostate plug. Of course, everyone’s anatomy is slightly different, so not everyone can experience direct prostate stimulation with every vibrating plug. As I stated earlier, this Aneros has an insertable depth of just under four inches. I’d recommend playing around with some less expensive prostate toys if a “direct hit” is important to you; this way you can get an idea of the length/girth/angle you need to hit just the right spot.

In the end, the V’s internal vibe is pretty damn decent for the smaller size of this toy, and it delivers some pretty pleasurable stimulation, both internal and (somewhat) to the external pleasure/pressure spots. If you’re looking for a more intense vibration experience, I might suggest the bigger/more powerful Vice 2 Aneros model, or even using a non-vibrating Aneros toy that works well for you, and utilizing your favorite vibrating wand (mine would be the Man Wand, but any could work) to add some instant vibration and extra pressure to an anal toy.

While I love anal vibes of many types, I am not the biggest fan of the Aneros external tabs. While they do offer extra pressure, there really isn’t a way to avoid using them if you are just going for an internal massage, save for manually holding the plug away from your body so the tabs don’t press on your skin, and this (of course) pulls the internal tip away from your prostate. Also, I prefer to sit or rest on my smaller plugs and anal toys, and I pretty much had to lie on my back to keep the base of the toy from being pressed even harder into my pressure points. But to each their own; that kind of extra stimulation might be what you’re after.

As far as internally, I liked using my V both in non-vibrating mode for an extended manual prostate stim session, and clicking the vibrator on when I wanted that extra something, or to finish my session with a bang (I tend to climax faster when using vibrating sex toys). So for the extra cost, it’s kind of like having a regular Aneros Trident Syn and one that vibrates when you want it to. I’m definitely keeping this one in my regular rotation, and am heartily recommending it to anyone who is looking for a slimmer anal toy that vibrates, or is wanting to try their first Aneros product.

Backdoor Banger Thrusting Butt Plug from Evolved

NOTE: This review was first released on December 10, 2021

I’m looking at another interesting sex toy for Peepshow Toys: the Backdoor Banger from Evolved. It’s a rechargeable butt plug with thrusting action. At first glance, it’s pretty small (as butt plugs go), so let’s take a closer look and see how it works.

The Backdoor Banger isn’t the first toy I’ve tried from this company. In fact, I reviewed their plastic battery-powered prostate massager—the Get a Grip—for this site back in 2015. Due to the way that toy pressed against my prostate, it was an early favorite, and the only reason I don’t use it much any more is because the cap on the base that holds the batteries in place kept popping lose, thereby shutting down the toy’s powerful motor.

Fast forward six years and I’m ready to try this newer toy from Evolved. They’ve certainly, uh, evolved a bit themselves, as the Backdoor Banger is a silicone-coated toy, and the mechanical inner workings are powered by rechargeable means. And though the plug has a nice solid feel to it, the silicone gives it a softer texture, and a somewhat bendable neck offers more flexibility than the Get a Grip massager had.

Charging the plug is easy. One end of the included cable pops into any USB-type slot and the other is a metal pin that snugly fits into a hole in the base of the toy. There’s a compatible remote control that operates the powered feature of the Backdoor Banger, and that requires a small A23 battery (one is included).

Lets look at the plug itself. Like any powered sex toy, you don’t actually have to turn it on to get some good pleasure out of it. The Backdoor Banger runs about 5⅓ inches from base to tip, so it’s fairly small compared to many anal toys. The insertable length is about 4 inches. The more slender neck slowly widens into the anal-safe base.

The plug has three ripples in the top part, giving it the shape of a (melting) snowman. The tip’s about an inch wide and an inch deep, before spreading out into the second bulge, which has a thickness of 1.33 inches. This second bulge narrows slightly then spreads out into the third and widest portion which measures 1.59″.

Once your hole spreads enough to accommodate this bulge, it’ll drop down into the more-slender neck, which is a little less than an inch thick. As I mentioned before, this portion of the toy is more bendable. The rippled upper aspect is a more solid silicone and has a much firmer feel to it. Be sure to slather your new toy with plenty of water-based lube, especially if you’re a newcomer to anal toys, or you haven’t used any in awhile. I found the third ripple to be a little bit of a hole stretcher, so don’t hesitate to add more lube and take some extra time if you’re trying to push it all the way in. Even without the thrusting feature turned on, working in the thicker midsection could cause some discomfort if you try to hurry things along.

As a manual plug, the Backdoor Banger was perfectly pleasant. It wasn’t overly huge, but felt comfortable once fully seated. The more solid upper part put some nice pressure on my P-spot just by sitting on the plug (and the small round base isn’t too bad for this), but I really wanted to get the thing turned on so I could see how it felt once it started to thrust.

Before I inserted the plug up my butt, I played around with it a little bit and could tell there was something rocking around inside the core. It felt like at least one metal ball that could travel up and down the inside of the plug’s neck. It reminded me of some of the high-tech pulsators from Fun Factory, not all of which are anal-safe and/or suitable for all beginners due to size concerns. Plus those cost about twice as much as this Evolved plug.

You can control the thrusting/thumping feature with either the button on the plug’s base, or with the small remote (pictured). You’ll have to have the plug turned on to use the remote. It’s simple to use; with only one button on there, you can turn the plug on once it’s inside your hole and then press the remote button to kickstart the thumping. It starts with a steady pulsing and each click makes it a little more intense. Like many powered sex toys, the “steady” settings are followed by a couple patterns. I found the patterns more fun once I got used to the steady pounding. The shape of this plug worked pretty well for me as a prostate massager (even without the thumping), but the thrusting brought it to a new level. It’s not a long toy, like a dildo would be, so I’d recommend this one more for targeted stimulation of the prostate or for those who don’t want or need something extra deep. Need to quit the thrusting when things get too intense? Simply press and hold the button on the remote and it’ll shut down. (I like the little double-tap from inside the plug each time it’s silenced.)

The banging motion definitely added some extra stimulation to an already-fine prostate massage, and the stop-and-start of the first pattern really felt great. This setting delivers seven rapid pounds, then grows quiet for a protracted moment before launching back into the pounding. For me, this pause made me aware of a delicious tickle near my prostate, which I could enjoy every time the hammering stopped. The selections wrap up with an erratically-paced setting that feels great too, but I kept coming back to the stop/start one, because it felt so good.

The toy is coated entirely in body-safe silicone, and it’s totally waterproof. So go ahead and try it out in the bath or shower, and don’t worry about getting it wet when you’re cleaning it up after using it. And kudos to the flat base. After scrubbing it clean, it dried a lot faster since I could stand it up without it tipping over. During use, don’t hesitate to press on the base to see if you can get some even deeper prostate sensations!

I definitely recommend the Backdoor Banger to anyone looking for a unique plug that offers powered stimulation without using standard vibrations. This plug is pretty perfect for those who want a smaller version of more expensive pulsators. I kind of hope Evolved will use this technology in some other designs suitable for anal pleasure. I’d love to see something with a totally smooth (i.e. non rippled) shaft that has a slight curve for targeted prostate pressure. Still, as a stand alone product, the Backdoor Banger is pretty great at what it does.

Splendid Large Dildo from Uberrime

I was going to start this review with “One of my all-time favorite dildos is the Uberrime Splendid,” but that’s not quite right. I opened the review for the Splendid with “This is my favorite dildo” and that statement still stands. So you can imagine how intrigued I was to be offered a larger version of the Splendid to review for Peepshow Toys.

The Splendid Large dildo has everything I loved about the original Splendid, it’s just been done bigger. And thicker. And chunkier. My last dildo review was for another large Uberrime piece: the Night King “Fire and Ice” fantasy dong. The Night King is long and offers a lot of texture. The Splendid Large is also pretty long (8 total inches; 7.5 insertable inches) and offers something for those who want an even thicker toy. The girth of this thing is really the reason to “go large,” so if you’re not interested (or not ready) for a toy that’s pretty thick, I’d definitely recommend the original Splendid instead. And even if the 6-inch Splendid is more than you’d like, there’s even a Small Splendid, with 5.25 insertable inches and a less thick head and shaft (1.5″ max head diameter; 1.43″ max shaft diameter).

The original has a maximum shaft diameter of 1.67 inches (the average diameter is listed as 1.6″). The large version has a head with a diameter of 2 inches and a shaft with a max diameter of 2.07″ — that might not seem like a significant difference, but if you look at the side-by-side photo of both toys, you can see how much beefier the bigger one really is.

The overall design of both is pretty similar. Both have a fairly realistic head with a rounded tip spreading into bulbous glans defined by a deep ridge that separates the tip from the shaft. This is one of the features I love about Marco’s dildos: the ridge offers such a great textural experience, you almost want to forget the thick shaft behind it and spend all your toy time popping the head in and out of your hole just to feel that ridge.

Actually, if you don’t have a lot of experience with thick toys, you might have to work your way up to the shaft. I did. Luckily, like the original version, the head of this cock seems to be softer and squishier than the rest of the toy, which makes it a little easier to work it inside tighter holes. Anyhow, one of things I loved about the original was the dual-density silicone, which gives the sensation of a softer outer layer covering a solid inner core. To me, this makes a dildo feel more like a real (hard) dick. Coupled with the way silicone easily warms to your body temperature, dual-density dongs always feel more lifelike, even more so when you’re moving them in and out. Working it all the way in to the base will leave you feeling extra full and stretched, especially if you haven’t used larger anal toys much.

Make no mistake, a thicker shaft means less experienced users will have to use more time and patience to work this large dildo in. And lots of lube, lots of lube, lots of lube. I don’t normally pre-lube my hole, but in this case I had to. Just lubing the dildo itself wasn’t going to work for me. Thankfully, my go-to water-based lubricant for anal toys — Sliquid Sassy — is thick enough to work well with this dildo. While not as textured as the Night King cock, the Splendid Large does feature some nice detailing: a beautiful thick cord that runs down the underside of the shaft, and an assortment of veins snaking up and down the length of the toy. Because of the softer outer layer and the bigger size, I didn’t feel these textural elements quite as much as I did with the Night King, but they sure do make for a sexy looking piece. With its bulbous head, deep groove, curved and veined shaft, the Splendid Large does look fairly realistic. You won’t find this in fleshtone colors; instead, Marco — the artist behind the handmade Uberrime silicone toys — has made this dildo in three different pearl shades: blue, violet and rose.

Like the original, the dildo sits atop a thick anal-safe base which doubles as a suction cup, so you can not only use it handheld style, but you can anchor it to a smooth surface (like a floor or wall) and ride it hands free. It’s also compatible with some harnesses (Peepshow Toys says 2-inch O-ring diameter). I haven’t yet worked my way up to riding this thing, but it’s nice to know I have the option of mounting it when I’m ready to go for it. As you might expect, the larger version is fairly heavy and solid, so it’s going to feel meatier than the original when you grasp it in your hand.

So while this toy’s larger size hasn’t made it possible to use it the same way I do my favorite original Splendid dildo, I’d heartily recommend it to anyone searching for a well made body-safe silicone toy that’s long, thick, and heavy. Thanks to Peepshow Toys for letting me try this one out. If you’re ready to give it a try, order the Uberrime Splendid Large dildo from Peepshow Toys by using the link below:

Snug Plug from b-Vibe

NOTE: This review was originally released on October 19, 2017

After trying out and enjoying the LA Pump Deluxe Pump Kit, Peepshow Toys asked if I would like to test and review a new butt plug: the Snug Plug from b-Vibe. I’m a big fan of b-Vibe’s Rimming Plug and their Trio Plug, so this was a new toy I was eager to try. The Snug Plug is a torpedo-shaped weighted butt plug made of silicone.

Before I even opened the Snug Plug package I was impressed. As with their vibrating plugs, everything b-Vibe seems to do is top quality, from design and manufacturing, to packaging and presentation. The Snug Plug came stylishly packaged. The plug comes nestled in a sleek clear-fronted display box. Under the insert that holds the plug is a nice collapsible zippered storage case for your plug, along with a detailed user’s guide, complete with instructions in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German and Russian, as well as helpful diagrams to aid with insertion and removal, which is a nice extra if you’re new to anal toys. If you’re an anal toy newbie, you can also read through the included b-Vibe Guide to Anal Play booklet for even more detailed information on safe anal play.

Now let’s check out the Snug Plug! The package lets you know these details: it’s made of bodysafe silicone, and the design is perfectly seamless. This might not seem important, but even a slight manufacturing seam in the material can cause discomfort when you’re using a toy anally. The silicone itself is very silky feeling and totally smooth. As with all sex toys made with silicone, there’s no offensive odor, always a plus in my book. The plug is waterproof, and it’s weighted. I was sent the Snug Plug 2, the second in their 4-plug series¹. All four have the same basic design. Snug Plug 1 is very slim and features only one weighted ball in its core. Snug Plugs 2 through 4 each contain two metallic balls, and each successive model carries more length, girth and weight than the one before it. See the chart below for how each of the Snug Plugs measure up in a side-by-side comparison. Their respective weights and product measurements are included too.

While the inner balls of Snug Plug 2 do bump against each other slightly if you shake the plug up and down, unless you’re really moving around while using the toy, you’re not going to feel too much going on with the balls. It’s more of a subtle sensation. I’m guessing their main purpose is to add weight and a solid core to what would otherwise be a soft pliable plug. In this regard, b-Vibe has created a great plug. Contrasting with the soft silicone outer layer, the inner metallic core is nice and solid and has a great heft. If you grip the plug during use, you’ll notice a slight give before feeling that hard solid core.

The Snug Plug has a torpedo-like shape, with a thin and slightly curved anal-safe base that doubles as a handle, and a more slender “neck” between. While the shape varies from the typical “cone” shaped butt plug, this design actually works wonderfully if you’re looking for something that is easily inserted, has a bit of thicker girth in the center, and then eases into a skinny neck to allow your hole to close almost all the way up. My biggest complaint about butt plugs is when they have a widely-flared lower aspect that quickly narrows into a small neck…and it seems like typically the neck is too short! This design flaw usually leaves your hole feeling like the plug is trying to push its way back out, or the base is being pulled uncomfortably against your crack. b-Vibe has designed a plug that not only sits comfortably up your butt, but whose handle rests cozily between your cheeks. “Extended wear stimulation” claims the package. With this clever design, it’s not only possible, but pleasant. I hate to say you forget you’ve got a butt plug inside you, but it’s certainly a comfortable fit for an extended session. Since the Snug Plug 2 isn’t overly large (at least for me), an extended session was a pleasure, never a pain. All I had to do to remind myself that I was enjoying this plug was to bear down with my ass muscles and feel the nice heavy girth of the toy. As comfortable as the base is, I think the extra length of the neck is the real genius of the Snug Plug. It really make a difference, at least for my own personal anatomy.

Now let’s look at some measurements. The Snug Plug I tried (model 2) has the following specs: the total insertable length is 4.3 inches (11 cm), the diameter at its widest part is 1.2 inches (3.1 cm) with a circumference of 3.8 inches (9.6 cm), the neck diameter is 0.4 inches (1 cm), and the weight of the plug is 114 grams. Consult the comparison chart near the top of the review to see how the other three Snug Plug models stack up against this one.

The package specifically states not to use silicone lubricant with this toy, so I used a high-quality water-based lube (Sliquid Naturals Sassy lubricant). Put lots of lube on your Snug Plug! The smooth texture of the toy means it has a little bit of “grab” during insertion if it’s not well lubricated. I’ve found that it’s easier to pull a toy out when you’re done if you’ve given it a little extra lube when you’re putting it in. If you’ve greased it up well, it should ease right in. The narrow rounded tip eases gently into the thicker middle. If it sticks at all or feels like it’s not gliding effortlessly, apply more lubrication. This is pretty much the most important rule of anal toy play. You’ll feel the wide portion open you up, and then a nice sensation will follow as the toy tapers off into the neck. You’ll momentarily have the feeling that the toy is being pulled out of your grasp, but the handle will come to rest against your hole, and you’ll know it’s locked into place.

As I said before, once the Snug Plug is totally inserted, you can either bear down on it and enjoy its solidness inside you, or you can let yourself go totally relaxed and enjoy feeling it nestled up your butt. I can’t remember using a more comfortable anal toy! Strangely, it’s difficult to find a plug that’s comfortable to sit on, but the Snug Plug is perfect for this. I know a lot of people like to put in a butt plug and move around. While I didn’t keep my own Snug Plug in for hours, I did keep it in for awhile and had no trouble moving around with it inside me. It stayed firmly in place and wasn’t uncomfortable at any time. I think if you wanted to put a toy up your butt while you’re “out and about,” this would be an ideal choice.

While the Snug Plug 2 wasn’t quite long enough for deep prostate massage, I did get some nice P-spot jolts while gripping my plug. I have a feeling the longer 3 or 4 model would feel even better for prostate stimulation, especially since they are thicker and heavier. Still, I think the 1 or 2 models are great choices for guys who want to try a butt plug, but want to start with something that isn’t terribly thick.

When you’re finished with your Snug Plug, use the base as a handle to slowly and carefully extract the toy from your hole. While mine was still nicely lubed, you can always add a little fresh lube while pulling the plug out, in case it’s not gliding as easily as you’d like. As with all silicone toys, you can easily clean them with some soap and hot water. Once it’s dry it fits nicely in the little included storage bag.

All in all, I can’t think of anything bad to say about this little plug. b-Vibe scores another hit with the Snug Plug. It’s well made, thoughtfully designed, goes in easy and feels great while using it. Thanks again to Peepshow Toys for letting me try it out. You can order your own Snug Plug in any of the four available sizes from Peepshow Toys using the link below:

SquarePegToys® Wiggly Butt Plug & Prostate Massager

NOTE: This review was originally released on November 11, 2020

I’m coming to you today with another one of my new favorite sex toys! I’ve reviewed several of the SquarePegToys® silicone anal toys, but the one I am reviewing today just might be my favorite. (It’s definitely my favorite!) Peepshow Toys is an online adult retailer that stocks only body-safe sex toys, so the high quality, platinum silicone goods that are handcrafted by SquarePegToys® are a perfect fit for Peepshow Toys.

This time around I’m talking about a butt plug called the Charlie Horse Wiggly. I reviewed the Charlie Horse Kidney plug with its chunky/angled appearance, which is designed to apply pressure to one’s prostate region. After that, it was the Charlie Horse Milk It, a re-imagined version of the original Charlie Horse plug with a jagged edge (don’t worry, it’s made of softer silicone) to give more of a textured massage to this sensitive spot.

Both of those plugs sport a large bulge just above the narrower neck of the toys, and this bulge helps spread willing holes open and create a great “filling” feeling once the plugs are seated. The Charlie Horse Wiggly has a very similar design on the bottom part of the plug: the same arched anal-safe base, the rounded, narrower neck that holds your hole open, and the bulging thick part of the plug that fills the area just inside your hole. But the upper aspect of this Charlie Horse is different. Waaaay different.

Check out the picture of the Wiggly and you can probably guess how it got its name. Beyond the bulge is a long, squirmy protrusion that extends nearly seven inches beyond the widest part of the plug. It twists and grows more narrow as it reaches the tip. (Or, as far as penetration goes, it gets more and more thick as the toy sinks deeper into your ass.)

I’ll tell you why I was so eager to get my hands on this piece. Many years ago, I saw the most deliciously perverse amateur (i.e. “homemade”) porn clip on one of the tube sites. A well-hung, hairy top fellow was preparing an eager bottom for an anal reaming. With the camera positioned just between the guy’s spread legs, the top began to rim the waiting hole. At first the tongue-job was soft and delicate, the tip of the top’s tongue teasing the waiting hole. As the bottom began to respond (his hole opened to welcome this talented tongue), the viewer soon realized that the top’s tongue was long and quite exceptional. Like a curved, twisty dick, the tongue went deeper into the hole, sliding in and out, forcing the hole open even more. The top seemed to be fucking the bottom’s hole with his tongue, and showed no signs of relenting. He eventually stood up and replaced his amazing tongue with his erection, but the image of that hole swallowing up that long, twisty tongue has stayed with me. And that was honestly the first image that came to mind when I saw the Charlie Horse Wiggly.

This version of the Wiggly is solid black, which is a firmer silicone than the bronze Super Soft silicone that was used in every other SquarePegToys® plug I’ve tried. I actually wanted the firmer silicone this time around, because I knew exactly how I wanted to use this plug: like a tongue that went a little deeper into my ass with every slow, deliberate thrust. Not to worry, if you prefer this plug in the softer silicone, Peepshow Toys indeed has the Super Soft Charlie Horse Wiggly! (In two different colors.)

Even though the Charlie Horse Wiggly runs a total length of 9 inches, I wasn’t really concerned with whether or not I could insert the entire usable length of the toy. The “insertable length” isn’t listed on Peepshow Toys or the SquarePegToys® website, but I measured it as approximately 8.25 inches. Yes, this is one deep tongue. I used a thick water-based lube that Peepshow Toys stocks, called Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle. It goes on nice and thick and doesn’t drip all over. It really clings nicely to the toy and provides ample lubrication to the hole and beyond. NOTE: if you’re planning to go extra deep with the Wiggly, I’d recommend adding some supplemental lubricant directly inside your hole. This firmer silicone is pretty smooth, but it can grab your tender skin if things are not well greased up.

But before I talk to much about using this plug as a plug, let me go back to how it felt as a tongue. Absolutely amazing! Once it was properly lubed, I could dart the tip of the Wiggly in and out of my hole, feeling it slightly push me open when I dared to make my “rim job” a little deeper. Of course, I wanted to go as deep as possible, so once I was suitably relaxed, I did exactly that, allowing the Wiggly to twist even deeper inside me. I loved the way the rounded tip poked around inside me as the twisty part of the plug grew thicker. I also enjoyed slowly (or not so slowly) rotating the plug, to spin the tip inside me. Some good feeling were had with this thing!

Of course, most actual tongues aren’t as long and as thick as this toy, but who says you can’t enjoy fantasizing? I loved the bends in the shaft and feeling things grow thicker the deeper I went. I confess, I had so much fun giving myself a “deep tongue-job” with this thing, I wasn’t even worried about pushing the thick part of the plug past my hole and leaving the Wiggly entrenched inside me. I was enjoying fucking my hole with it, in and out, marveling at how deep I could feel it, and how twisty it felt each time I slowly rotated it in my hole. This is definitely my favorite way to use the Wiggly, but I did try it the “regular” was as well.

Even though the bulb on this plug isn’t quite the hole stretcher as the other two Charlie Horse plugs I tried previously (the Wiggly has a max diameter of about 1.75”, compared with the Kidney’s 2″ and the Milk It’s 2.07″), it was still a bit of a push to work in that last thick bit. I think a lot of it had to do with how long and deep the twisted upper aspect was up inside me when I finally worked it in. It was definitely a strange sensation, but I still kind of enjoyed it. Just not as much as the aforementioned deep tonguing sensation. Just like the other versions of the Charlie Horse plugs, the Wiggly has a base that will keep things properly anchored, yet very comfortable, especially if you’re using this plug while seated. Adding additional pressure to the base while it’s all the way in will give you some extra internal stimulation, so give that a try!

The Charlie Horse Wiggly is one of the few SquarePegToys® that is only available in one size, so there isn’t anything longer (or smaller) to recommend if you are looking for the same design in a different size. You can definitely check out a real depth explorer in the SquarePegToys® Slink Depth Training Probe, which measures in length from just over a foot long (Small), to a eye-popping 24.5” length in the 2XL version. Many months ago, Phallophile Reviews had asked if I was interested in reviewing one of these for her site (I had previously collaborated with her on the Njoy Pure Wand Guide, as well as having contributed a Male Sex Toy Guide to her site), but I felt that even the “smallest” Slink was a little too long and thick (6.6” circumference!) for my experience level. The newer Wiggly, on the other hand, isn’t quite so long or thick, but still snakes deep enough to explore some pretty wild play, so—for me—the Wiggly was the perfect longer toy for a depth play first timer. If you’re curious about the thicker/longer Slink, Felicity found a porn star with experience in such matters to tackle the Slink; please check it out on her site.

For me, I couldn’t be happier with my Wiggly. It certainly fulfilled the deep tongue-job fantasies I’ve been harboring for years, and gave a pretty good prostate poking, too! Want to try the Charlie Horse Wiggly for yourself? Pick one up at Peepshow Toys using these links:

Your New Favorite Penis Vibrator

NOTE: This review was originally released on February 8, 2024.

Lest you think I’m giving my review in the title of this newest blog post, the name of this new toy I’m checking out is actually called Your New Favorite Penis Vibrator. It’s (big surprise) a penis vibrator from Orion and currently available from Peepshow Toys. Is it my new favorite penis vibrator? Well, let’s find out.

I’d never heard of the sex toy brand Orion before, but the vibrating penis massager looks pretty familiar. I’ve certainly tried a few of these wand-style massagers that have been designed with a head to accommodate the head and shaft of a penis. My own favorite penis vibrator is easily the Man Wand, another massager that was sent to me by Peepshow Toys back in 2019. That toy quickly became my favorite, mostly because it was so adept and making me cum: easily and effortlessly, every time. My favorite way to use the Man Wand is to keep it on a bedside table and use it to massage my cock through my underpants. The Man Wand has a powerful buzzy vibrator, so by keeping the boxer-briefs on I was able to temper the strong vibrations and enjoy the experience for a little while before the point of no return was reached and orgasm was achieved. I easily milked hundreds (and probably more) loads out of my dick with this thing, and I mention it here for context. I mean, how good can this My New Favorite Penis Vibrator be to match a toy that has worked so successfully for me for five years? Of course there were others too: the Fun Factory Manta, the Pulse Solo Lux, and the We-Vibe Wand but none of them found a place next to my bed.

The Orion massager showed up, and I unboxed it and got it charging so I could try it out. It’s as easy to charge as the Man Wand; simply use the included USB-style charger and slide the metal prong into the tiny pinhole at the back of the device. A light blinks off and on while it’s charging and turns solid when it’s ready to use. The wand itself has a nice chunky compact design, with a comfortable handle, three control buttons and a head that has the familiar “lobster claw” shape fashioned to deliver vibrations to the penis. The curved flaps on the massage head seem a bit longer than others I’ve tried, yet the space between them a bit more compact. Luckily the flaps are very flexible, so they should bend to accommodate those big thick dicks. The inside of the massage portion is gently ribbed with some lined texture. I should mention that the entire tool (save for a gold chrome embellishment on the handle) is coated in nice satiny silicone. This material is a mustard yellow color, not often seen in silicone sex toys. If nothing else, you could probably disguise sex toy by placing it around similarly-colored power tools. Its color definitely makes it easy to spot if you have a big box of silicone toys.

Once this was powered up, I do what I always do with the wand I typically use: I slid the curves of the attachment onto my bulge and turned the vibe on. This is easy to accomplish. You just press and hold the center button, which is conveniently embossed with the universal symbol for “power.” A green light comes on with the vibrator, which starts on its lowest speed. Now my usual vibrator revs to life on the highest setting, which is mainly the reason I like to keep my undergear on during sessions like these. The Orion starts low and seemed way too low for me, so I used the adjacent + button to crank up the power. I counted five different settings of steady/solid vibrations, and as you cycle up through them, this wand really starts to rumble! The entire toy vibrates, especially when the power is turned up. Even the knob-like handle was humming with vibrations, so of course I used it like a mortar and pestle, grinding the vibrating handle against my bulge. It felt nice.

I also noted that the back of the massager has an interesting crease where the two curves meet at the back. They could have designed this with a flat/smooth back, but I really like the idea of this indentation. If you’re a frenulum stimulator like I am, this little crevice can be worked over that sweet spot, and the two little ridges on the back are quite a bit more solid than the flappier flaps that make up the business end of this massager, though those tease the sweet spot nicely when it’s on a higher power. It’s nice to have some variety, at any rate. Since the whole toy hums and rumbles, be sure to come at all of your sensitive parts at different angles.

Sadly, the My New Favorite Penis Vibrator did not become my new favorite during these first few sessions. I am so used to the buzzy stimulation of my Man Wand that this Orion toy—while powerful—just wasn’t rumbly enough to push my cock to the point of nutting. It certainly felt good, but when you’re so used to something that works really well, it’s difficult to switch things up and make the same chain of events happen.

I enjoyed using this new wand to tease my cock, my balls, my nipples… honestly, try the ridge on the back of the wand if you have erect nipples that respond to stimulation. Actually, what responded mostly to the strong vibrations was my hand. After several minutes of working this thing over my bulge, my hand was quite tingly and pretty numb. I was kind of frustrated that it wouldn’t trip my trigger and make me cum, though.

On future uses I switched to the pattern vibrations, which is something I never use on the Man Wand, but there are some really solid options on this new masturbation toy. After using the + button to work through the five levels of steady vibrations, click the + again to segue into the five available patterns. Here are descriptions in the running order:

  1. Starts out as a sputter and grows steady before starting back to sputtering again
  2. An oscillating “revving” that goes from stronger to stronger
  3. Three long pulses followed by six shorter bursts
  4. A strong burst followed by faster taps
  5. A cycle of steady vibrations at two differing levels (I really like this one)
Even though the options are decent, I was ready to pack this thing away and go back to my old stand by. Until I reached for Your New Favorite Penis Vibrator when I was naked. I hadn’t even planned on using it, but when I clicked it on and touched it to my exposed cock, something unexpected happened: I immediately got rock hard and started to respond to the toy.

I am so used to wearing underwear when using the Man Wand, that I never gave it a thought when I was using the same moves with this newer gadget. Using the yellow massager directly on my cock felt wonderful, the rumbly vibes tickling the pleasure nerves. I easily achieved a decent climax with the wand, just using the steady vibes.

The next time I wanted to wank, I got naked and bypassed the five steady vibe settings and tried out the patterns (again). Without the underwear cockblocking the vibrations, everything felt so amazing! I like the fact that there’s a – button to backtrack through the ten different settings, so you can move back into a certain pulse pattern without having to shut the toy off and find it again.

And the ribbing inside the curved part of the toy feels very good when you’re actually stroking your cock, and not just the bulge. Add a little water-based lube to this part of the toy and things really start to feel good. I never use lube with my other vibrating cock toys, but slicking up this one heightens the experience. I’ve also found the Orion stroker makes me precum like crazy, so no need to use lube when the slippery stuff is leaking all over the silicone flaps. The fluttering flaps on my wet frenulum offer some great teasing when I want to ease up from the steadier stroking sensations.

I feel pretty stupid that it took me a few tries to find out how good this masturbator can feel, but I’m glad I switched things up and realized how different this toy is from my old stand by. They may look alike, but the method of delivery needs to be different (at least for me) depending on which one I’m using.

I’m not sure if this Orion massager will become as important to my jack off routine as the Man Wand is, but at least for now it’s got its own spot on the bedside table. With its squat handle that’s easy to hold, I’m looking forward to grabbing this thing the next time I give a guy head. I’ve managed to use massage wands like this to accentuate a blow job before and I’m guessing this Orion toy will make someone else feel good very soon.

Other things I want to mention: the massager holds a charge for awhile but didn’t give me much warning before it quit altogether, which is pretty common for toys like these. At least now I have more than one cock massager I can grab to finish the job if another one dies before I can cum. The Orion one charges easily in a fairly short time, so it shouldn’t be out of commission for long. Also, they bill this thing as “water resistant” (as opposed to waterproof) which means you really shouldn’t use it in the bath/shower/pool but that cleaning it up in the sink shouldn’t give you any worries. Just let it dry completely if you’re going to store it after washing up.

So yes, Orion…Your New Favorite Penis Vibrator is my new favorite. Now that I know what this thing can do, I am looking forward to many future sessions. I’m hoping if you give it a try, you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.
