Wand by We-Vibe Rechargeable Body Massager

Today I’m reviewing the Wand by We-Vibe. As you may have already guessed, the Wand is a vibrating wand massager. Peepshow Toys sent this massager to me in exchange for a review, so let’s check it out.

I haven’t reviewed a We-Vibe toy since way back in 2013, when I wrote about the Salsa, a bite-sized pointy vibe whose surprisingly intense motor worked wonders for frenulum stimulation.

The Salsa, sadly, was put into retirement years ago, which is a shame because I kinda wore mine out. The Wand is pretty much everything the Salsa is not. It’s big, it’s round, it’s heavy. While I’m not an aficionado of wand massagers (I’ve really only tried one: The Man Wand), I’ve been enjoying videos of cocks being teased by them for years. So why haven’t I used one myself, given how they are so adept at making dicks throw ropes of cum? Well…now’s my chance. First, let’s check out what’s in the box.The Salsa, sadly, was put into retirement years ago, which is a shame because I kinda wore mine out. First, let’s check out what’s in the box.

The box is big. But it’s stylish. The Wand is being sold as a luxury vibrator and if the packaging is any indication, what’s inside is going to be good. And at first glance, everything looks wonderful. The Wand itself is tucked into a thick foam cutout which protects the massager when not in use. The entire Wand is coated in body-friendly silicone and it’s a deep purple color. There’s a ring of metallic-looking lighter purple where the handle connects with the ball-shaped head, but — other than the We-Vibe logo slightly engraved on the head and some gentle texture ringing the neck — the Wand is pretty much unadorned. Nestled under the wand cutout are two included silicone attachments, also tucked into cutouts of their own: a round “Flutter” ring, and a curved “Stroke” attachment that’s designed to pair with a penis. The only other items in the box are a magnetic charging cable and a minimal instruction booklet. The box is great for storing all the pieces and making sure everything stays together. Definitely store the parts in their respective cutouts to help preserve the shape of everything and keep all the pieces organized.

For such a high-end gadget, I found the included directions a little lacking. The parts are all labeled and We-Vibe does lay out the Wand’s functions in simple diagrams, but these do little to answer questions for a Wand newbie like myself. For instance, is the “auto-start” function the only option available? And why doesn’t the Wand seem to “auto-start” when one of the attachments are in use? How do I turn it on and keep it on? And aren’t there supposed to be vibration patterns on this thing? Luckily, We-Vibe’s website had a lot more detailed instructions, so I’ll be relating those here as we take a closer look at the Wand.

Before you can use the Wand, you’ll need to fully charge it. Like many vibrating toys these days, the Wand is easily rechargeable with a magnetic charging system. Stick the USB end into an appropriate port and easily click the magnets to the pair of flat metal pins on the end of the Wand’s handle. A soft LED light pulses while the Wand’s battery powers up. Allow it to charge until the light turns solid. The Wand can run up to 2 hours on a single charge, but I learned that using the more intense settings diminishes this time by quite a bit. Still, the Wand rumbles away for quite awhile, giving you time to enjoy a nice session before it needs to be put back on the charger. The magnetic charging method means the Wand is entirely cordless when you’re ready to use the thing. If you’ve owned or used an older Wand, you probably had to figure out where to situate yourself so an electrical outlet was handy. Being cordless, the Wand will go pretty much anywhere you want it to.

Once it’s ready to operate, what do you do? The Wand’s controls are pretty straightforward, at least after you figure out how everything works. To power the Wand on, press and hold the bottom-most button on the handle. Like I mentioned, there is an “auto-start” feature which seems to be the default. We-Vibe calls it Smart Silence and this means the Wand powers up as soon as it senses it’s close to your body. It can be a fun feature, but it can also be annoying as well. It’s certainly nice to only have the Wand running exactly when you want it to, so if you’re using it to tease certain erogenous zones intermittently, you’re not going to run the battery down when the toy’s not touching your skin. If you’ve ever cursed a sex toy for getting you off before you were ready to cum, the Smart Silence setting might end up being your favorite, because it’s an easy way to stop the motor in a hurry (just remove the Wand from the hot spot and everything cools down quickly).

I found the Smart Silence feature to be kind of disappointing when using either of the Wand’s attachments. I discovered I like a delicate touch with either of these and I had to press very firmly to activate the auto-start mode when I was using either of them. Luckily, the user can switch the Smart Silence function off and use the Wand in the traditional way. Meaning “turn it on and leave it on.” To switch from the Smart Silence mode, press and hold the upper-most of the two control buttons. This button is less prominent than the Power button, but you’ll find a slight indentation under the intensity switch. This also controls the Wand’s pulse patterns, so don’t be surprised when the Wand starts pulsing away. Once the motor is on, press the patterns switch to cycle through each setting, until you reach the steady vibe. There are 10 patterns, so keep clicking. After you reach the desired vibe setting, you can easily rev it up or tone it down with the raised switch that’s just above the two control buttons. As you might expect, push the lever up to increase the intensity, or hold it down to calm things down. Once you’ve played around with the Wand for awhile, the controls become more familiar, and you can easily adjust the intensity during use. Need to shut the motor off while using it in steady mode? Just hold the intensity lever down until the vibrator cycles from its lowest setting to Off. The Wand is still “on” at this point and all you need to do to rev it up again is push up on the intensity lever. For me, this method was a lot more user-friendly than the Smart Silence mode, but I can see where other users would enjoy the easy-stop the latter offers.

So how good is the range on this thing? Pretty damn good, as it turns out. While I really enjoyed the intensity of the Man-Wand massager (which is pretty small compared to We-Vibe’s Wand; the entire Man-Wand is shorter than the We-Vibe’s handle!), it didn’t offer a lot in the way of versatility. Plus the Man-Wand’s cock teaser is built in, so there’s no way to remove it if you’re just looking to use the head only, or use an alternate attachment. The buzzy vibrations the Man-Wand puts out feel really amazing for targeted stimulation, but there isn’t a lot of variety in how it feels. In comparison, the We-Vibe Wand really has an extensive range. On the low end, you can experience a gentle sputter, or you can power the motor all the way up to nerve-jangling. On its highest setting, the Wand is just very intense! Of course, using the intensity switch you can raise or lower the vibration intensity to any spot on the available frequency. To me, this is one of the best features of the Wand; allowing it to rev away as hard as you want, then quickly lower the intensity to a lower setting.

The pulse patterns are great, too! To switch from steady vibrations to one of the various pulse patterns, click the button under the intensity lever. Since this button is used for other functions, be sure to play around with it a bit before beginning your first session to help avoid frustration that could come by inadvertently switching settings when you were trying to do something else. As much as I enjoy the steady vibrate setting (especially cranked all the way up!), I found that using one of the pulse patterns worked better for longer edging sessions, allowing the variation in vibe intensity to tease my cock repeatedly. Once you find a selection you enjoy, you can always increase or decrease the strength of the motor using the lever. I really love putting on a jockstrap and increasing the vibrator, allowing the mesh to act as a buffer between the head of the Wand and my cock and balls. However, if I place the vibrating head directly on my skin, sometimes the higher intensity is just too much, so it can be a relief to tone down the Wand to something less vigorous.

While the We-Vibe Wand is designed to work with other massage wand attachments you might have, the company actually includes two high-quality silicone attachments inside the box. In case you were wondering, the head has a diameter of just under 2.25 inches, so check your other wand strap-ons to see how well they might fit with We-Vibe’s Wand. Each of the included attachments sports a round ring that fits around the massage head fairly easily. The “Flutter” attachment is round with 360 degrees of perpendicular “ticklers” of varying lengths protruding from an inner ring. The Flutter ring tempers the strong vibrations from the wand head and allows for a more focused, less intense direct stimulation. While I enjoy focused vibrations on various erogenous zones (balls and nipples, for instance), the Wand head can be a little too intense and rumbly for certain overly-sensitive spots, so using the Flutter enables you to tone this down a little and angle the ticklers to tease just the right spot without feeling discomfort. The longer tendrils flutter more than the shorter ones do, so if you can see a distinction between the varying lengths (especially when paired with a desired vibrator intensity), the design of this attachment allows you to easily position it so the preferred section is just where you want it. Personally, I found the Flutter ring worked better on bare skin, especially on sensitive parts like my nipples. Changing the angle of the wand — even slightly — can alter the way things feel, so play around with the positioning.

The other attachment — the Stroke — is designed to accommodate a cock. With flexible silicone “wings” rising up from either side of the massage head ring, you can use this attachment whether your cock is completely flaccid or full-blown erect. Unlike totally enclosed “stroker tubes” that are often paired with wand massagers for penis stimulation, the design of this one is open ended, so pretty much anyone, regardless of length or thickness, can enjoy this silicone add-on. The wings themselves are pretty thick and sturdy and deliver some good vibrations while the wand is moving, and they’re just flexible enough to spread for larger cocks and offer some “flutter” of their own when the Wand’s vibrator is cranked up to a higher intensity.

While the inner aspect of each curve is totally smooth, those who like (or need) some texture while masturbating can rub the underside of their cock against seven raised ribs that line the bottom of this stroker sleeve. It’s not an incredible amount of texture, but it does feel nice if you enjoy stroking against something that isn’t completely smooth. To change the experience a little, add a little water-based lube to the Stroke attachment. (Both of these silicone attachments, as well as the silicone-encased wand itself, are compatible with water-based lubricants.) When I tried the Wand in the shower, I found that using lube on the Stroke piece really offered a nice variation. Yes, that’s right: the We-Vibe Wand is waterproof! So be sure to enjoy it in the shower. Just take care not to slip, especially if you’re using lubrication. And needless to say, you should never charge your Wand in or around water.

While both the Flutter and the Stroke pieces are very high quality silicone and stay in place at even the highest settings, I am not sure I’d recommend the We-Vibe Wand solely for these attachments. While both of them really worked well for me, the Wand itself is so large that it’s not as easy to position and hold at just the right angle (and this will vary from user to user, depending on where you like to place it) when using an attachment that’s strapped tightly to the head. For a winged-style massager, a toy like the hand-held (and very comfortably so) Pulse massager seems to be a more comfortable experience for me, at least when I am going for a long edging/teasing session. Even the much-more-compact Man Wand is lighter and less bulky than We-Vibe’s entry in the massage wand market. Still, the We-Vibe Wand isn’t overly uncomfortable to hold, it’s just sort of large; over 12 inches long from the bottom of the handle to the end of the massage head. The soft silicone and a curved/ergonomically-designed handle make this long massager fairly easy to grip during a long play session.

What else can I say about the Wand? Even though it’s encased in silicone, the Wand is an external-use toy. However, insert one of your favorite non-vibrating anal toys (I tried it with the Avant Pride Power Play butt plug) and press the vibrating head against the base of the toy. Nice, huh? ? The Wand also works wonderfully as an “all over” body massager. It’s not just for turning you on or getting you off (although it really does both of those things really well); use it on your shoulders, neck, back…wherever things feel tense or achy. More than once in the past couple of weeks I pulled the Wand out to relax my upper body after shoveling snow.

Let’s not forget the Wand is a good couples’ toy, too! Whether you want something for foreplay, or want to try the different options to help each other masturbate to orgasm, the Wand is completely versatile. The attachments are certainly designed with all sex organs in mind. And even if your playmate isn’t in the same room with you, a We-Vibe app allows two users to connect and control the Wand remotely. Disclosure: I didn’t test drive this feature, but I want you to know it is available if you’ve been looking for a vibrating sex toy that can be controlled by another user via an app. I did, however, pair the Wand — through Bluetooth —with the We-Connect app on my own smartphone and thought it was a handy way to control the Wand without having to fumble with the buttons. The best part about using the app during a solo session is finding and saving your favorite vibration settings and being able to activate them just by tapping your phone screen. You could also certainly hand the phone over to a playmate and allow another person to control your Wand session. This sort of technology can certainly add a new dimension to wand play and is definitely something to experiment with if you are so inclined.

The Wand is definitely a great massager for those who love wand massagers. It’s so versatile and a real powerhouse, but its intensity can easily be dialed down for those times when you want or need slow, delicate stimulation. Let’s not forget it’s covered in silicone, comes with two fun attachments, and can be taken into the shower! It’s pricey, so I’m hesitant to recommend it to a first-timer who might be on a budget and unsure of whether or not a wand massager will work well for them. But if you get off on good vibrations, enjoy intense powerful rumbling but can also get off on less vigorous teasing, you’re probably going to love the Wand from We-Vibe.

Night King Dildo from Uberrime — Fire & Ice

With Game of Thrones premiering its eighth and final season this past weekend, it seems like good timing to post a review for a beautiful silicone dildo inspired by one of its characters: The Night King. I’m doing this review for Peepshow Toys, who stocks the original Night King Dildo, as well as this exclusive “Fire and Ice” version. Both are handcrafted pieces designed by Marco from Uberrime.

I’ve been a big fan of Marco’s work for awhile. I reviewed two smaller (Essential and Splendid – both 6 inches) dildos from the collection last year, but I admit I’ve had my eye on the original Night King cock since I first saw it. It’s a thick nine-inch cock with a swollen head, curved shaft, and lots of texture. The piece itself is an eye-catching marvel, with whorls of blues and silver befitting the ice of the White Walkers’ leader.

Marco designed a second version of the Night King, adding a bold mixture of red and yellow to the original blue/silver colors. Visually, the piece looks stunning. The design alone make this piece worth having. Like all Uberrime toys, the Night King is hand-poured with platinum silicone. Since each one is done individually, the exact color patterns are all unique. In the “Fire and Ice” version, the head is bright red mixed with bright yellow. In mine, the yellow pours from the tip and runs down the underside of the shaft, almost as if the color has been ejaculated from inside the cock. The red and yellow mix, gradually incorporating with the blues and silver in beautiful swirls.

There’s another big difference between the “Fire and Ice” version and the original: they are each made with a different type of silicone. The original is made with a firmer, medium (Dragon Skin Shore 10A) silicone. While I didn’t try the original version, one of the smaller pieces I reviewed (the Uberrime Essential) is made from the same stuff. The “Fire and Ice” version of the Night King is manufactured with a medium-soft silicone (approximately 8A), which gives the toy a softer feel. You can squeeze it and feel quite a bit of give, and it’s much more bendy than the firmer 10A silicone. Since the piece is quite long compared to many of the other Uberrime dildos (9 inches, with 8 inches insertable), I was pretty happy to have been sent the softer one, since it will bend more easily as it makes its way all the way in to the base. If you prefer a stiffer/firmer dildo, you may want to try the original Night King (pictured below, right).

The length, girth and texturing are the same in both versions, since the dildos both spring from the same mold. The head has a circumference of 5.25 inches (1.67″ diameter) and the shaft’s circumference is 6 inches (1.91″ diameter at its thickest part). If you like a toy with a lot of texture, the Night King has it. Like many of the other dildos in the collection, there’s a very realistic head on this toy. Very defined curves sink into a deep ridge just under the head. I love dildos that have heads like this, because it feels so nice sliding it in and out of my hole. Even though this monster measures 9 inches, I think I had just as much fun popping the head in and out. The softer silicone makes it a little less firm if you like to bear down on it, but it still feels great. Once you push past that deep groove, the shaft rises up in a delicious firm ring that wraps around the upper portion of the shaft. This, too, is a trait seen in other Uberrime dildos and it really feels great for hole stimulation. This second ridge is the same width as the head, so you’re definitely going to feel it.

What makes the Night King a little different from the others that I have tried is the intense texturing. I’m assuming these are veins, but what do I know? They are thick and they are defined, almost like tread on metal. They give the curved shaft an almost skeletal appearance and the way it feels while thrusting the toy is just amazing. I’m typically not into overly-textured anal toys, but the thick ribs on this dildo coupled with softer silicone felt great. I still haven’t been able to do some deep thrusting with this toy, but — again — the softer silicone makes it easier to take. I know I’ll reach the base eventually. Not only does the shaft bend pretty nicely as it works more deeply inside you, but you can squeeze this thing and feel the ribs compress. As with all silicone anal toys, the material will quickly warm to your body temperature and make the dildo feel very lifelike inside you. While the colors and design of the Night King might look out of this world, it still feels like a real dick once you start moving it in and out and it starts to warm up.

The shaft has a nice curve to it and the softer silicone makes it easier (for me, at least) to take more of it. If you prefer a stiffer shaft, that’s another reason to consider the original Night King. I still haven’t managed to take all eight inches, but I’m getting there. The shaft gets thicker the deeper you go, and the root is the thickest point of all. While I enjoy popping the head and that defined ring on the upper shaft, I look forward to finally working that last bit of wide shaft into me. You don’t have to worry about losing this one, like all Uberrime toys, there’s a wide anal-safe base on it. It’s designed perfectly to allow the dildo to stand on its own, and — even though it’s flat — it works perfectly as a suction cup, so it’s pretty ideal for those who want to crouch over the toy and sit on it, or back themselves up on it while the Night King is mounted to a wall or another smooth surface.

I’m definitely recommending this toy to anyone wanting a longer/bigger silicone dildo with lots of added texture. The softer silicone gives it just the right amount of flexibility and the way the “Fire and Ice” Night King looks just blows my mind. You can find either version at Peepshow Toys using these links:

Oxballs Cock-T Cock Ring and Balls-T Ball Stretcher

NOTE: This review was originally released on July 29, 2019

When Peepshow Toys asked if I’d like to try and review a silicone cock ring they had added to their online shop, I eagerly said yes. The Oxballs Cock-T Cock Ring is a blue (it is also available in black) silicone ring for those looking for a nice chunky, soft, oversized ring with a lot of stretch, which makes it easy on/easy off.The reason I was quite eager to try this thing is because I already own the companion piece — the Balls-T Ball Stretcher from Oxballs — and have enjoyed that for a long time. I figured since Peepshow Toys is stocking both pieces, I could give you my thoughts on each of them. But let’s start with the cock ring.

Splendid Dual-Density Dildo from Uberrime

This is my favorite dildo. When I try a new sex toy, I always open a notepad document on my phone and keep it handy to jot down thoughts and comments about the toy I’m using. I just opened the file I created for the Uberrime Splendid dual-density dildo and there are five words typed on it: this is my favorite dildo.

Fun Factory is a German sex toy company that’s put out a lot of high-quality, interesting products in the past. I remember trying the original head-teasing Cobra Libre many years ago, and thought the thrusting Stronic Drei pulsating dildo – with its rippled curved shaft – was a wild invention. Peepshow Toys asked me to try one of Fun Factory’s newest toys: The Manta.

Rimming Plug Petite from b-Vibe

NOTE: This review was originally released on November 3, 2017

Just seeing the name of certain sex toys gets me excited and the b-Vibe Rimming Plug Petite was one of them. Actually, I snapped up the original Rimming Plug back in the summer of 2016. With a length of over six inches and a diameter of 1.5 inches, the plug was a little on the large size for me. Insertion was somewhat challenging, so when I tried out the slightly smaller Trio Plug from b-Vibe (it doesn’t offer the rimming sensation, instead it gives the user three distinct vibrators), the Trio became my new go-to plug when I wanted something that vibrates. Then, b-Vibe designed a smaller version of their popular Rimming Plug: The Petite. I definitely wanted to try this.

Once again, online retailer Peepshow Toys has sent me a product in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. The product: The Rimming Plug Petite from b-Vibe. Like I said, just thinking about some toys gets me going. The masturbators that promise a blowjob-like experience. A thrusting dildo that replicates a hard cock going in and out of your hole…and a vibrating butt plug that says it can simulate one of the most pleasurable sex acts you can receive: the rimjob.

(MANUFACTURER PHOTO)

Now I’ll say right off that you aren’t going to have an identical experience when you draw up a competition between a buttplug and a human tongue. For me, all human-to-human sex acts have a component that can rarely (if ever) be replicated by a toy. Call it chemistry, sexual energy, whatever. There’s something hot about knowing a tongue is teasing and probing your hole, while human hands caress and grip your ass, and you’re both moaning in pleasure. You aren’t going to get all that from a butt plug. But, I’ll also say right off that I loved this plug. Loved!

Whatever issues I had inserting the full-sized Rimming Plug, they didn’t exist with the Petite Plug. I’ve also been using Sliquid’s water-based Sassy lubricant with all my toys lately, and I’ve noticed a big difference in how easily I can get them in, especially the larger/thicker ones. Sassy lube is a bit thicker than many water-based lubes and seems to cling to the toy better than a lot of them I’ve tried. I coated the Petite Plug with a generous layer of lube and slowly and gently eased it in. Here are the measurements for the Rimming Plug Petite:

  • total length – 4.9 inches
  • insertable length – 3.9 inches
  • widest diameter – 1.4 inches
  • neck diameter – 1 inch
  • total circumference – 4.4 inches

(MANUFACTURER PHOTO)

What I typically do with vibrating butt plugs is wait until I have eased the entire toy inside to the base before I start to fiddle with added vibrations. That said, with a powerful vibrator embedded in the tip of this thing, you could easily tease your hole before penetration and I think you would find that very enjoyable. But I wanted to wait until the flared body of the plug was all the way in, the narrower neck had settled right around my hole, and the wide anal-safe base was wedged into my crack. Even without vibrations or the rimming sensation, this is a beautifully designed butt plug. When you grip it with your ass muscles you’ll note how firm and solid it is. The silicone used is soft and satiny and perfectly seamless. Like I said, use a lot of lube. For some reason, this silky silicone tends to “grab” more during insertion, and extra lube really makes the difference. You don’t want to chafe your hole…because you’re going to want to rim it! The widest part comes just before the neck. Once it’s all the way in, the wide base will come to rest between your cheeks. While the base on the Rimming Plug is wider and chunkier than that of b-Vibe’s non-powered Snug Plug, this is still an incredibly comfortable butt plug.

Once the plug slides all the way in to place and you’ve enjoyed the sensation of it being inside you, you’re going to want to start in with the vibrations. There is a strong vibrator buried in the tip of this toy which is going to really do a number on your prostate. Now every guy is going to have a slightly different anatomy. Your prostate might be slightly higher or lower than mine, so it’s impossible to predict where any given toy is going to rest. If you tend to need longer toys to reach your P-spot, you may want to opt for the regular sized Rimming Plug. All I can say is that, for me, the Rimming Plug Petite was the perfect length. Even before starting the motors, this plug was poking me in all the right places. And once I turned on the vibes? It made a great experience a fantastic one.

According to the box and the manual, the Petite Plug offers 7 different rotation (rimming) patterns and 6 vibration patterns. There are also buttons to increase or decrease the intensity, so there’s a lot of different options in one little plug. You can set it to rim only, vibrate only, or have both of them going at once. Add to that the ability to increase the intensity and you’ll understand why it’s difficult to sort out all the varying combinations. I was pretty much squirming and moaning as I was cycling through the options and the last thing on my mind was jotting down some notes.

Since this is being sold as a rimming plug, I guess you’re wondering “Does it feel like rimming?” Actually…yes! Like I mentioned earlier, I don’t think you can completely replicate analingus with a toy, but this b-Vibe plug comes pretty damn close. The toy’s rimming action works because there are rotating metal beads just under the silicone in the plug’s neck, which is the part of the plug that your hole will be wrapped around while you’re using it. Surprisingly, the movements and feel of the rimming feature do feel a lot like a tongue whirling around. You can spin it clockwise, counter-clockwise, or send it in a short spins back and forth. Or a combination of short and longer whirls. Once you add vibrations to this sensation, you’re going to lose your mind, or at least I did. Not only should your prostate get hammered, but you’ll enjoy the most tingly vibrations teasing the sensitive nerves of your hole while the rimming mechanism is doing its thing. The nice thing about the vibrator is how powerful it is, but you don’t need to have it grinding away at top speed. It feels just as good (in a different way) to enjoy a nice gentle teasing. The patterns are great, too. b-Vibe has given this vibrator some patterns I’ve never before seen in buzzy toys.

I don’t know how long you like a toy session to last, but b-Vibe claims the rechargeable battery on this thing will last an hour. I don’t think I could last an hour while this plug is up inside me doing what it does, but it’s nice to know you’re good for a long session of intense vibrations and rimming. If you do like to go longer than an hour, you might want to start out with another toy and work your way up to the Petite Plug’s tricks. You’d hate to have the thing conk out on you before you’re ready to quit. But trust me when I say you’re going to want the Petite Plug up in your hole when you cum. Got a partner who likes to have sex while using toys? Hand over the remote (it works from up to 30 feet away) and let them have their way with you.

Once you’ve driven yourself into a state of bliss, you can either use the remote to power down the plug or simply press the button on the base. Don’t forget to add some fresh lube to the toy as you (slowly) pop it out; it makes removal a lot less uncomfortable if it’s well-lubed. Clean up is super simple. Wash your Rimming Plug with hot or warm water and some antibacterial soap. The toy is splash proof, so you don’t have to worry too much about getting it wet. The thick flat base makes it easy to stand up to air dry.

Another nice thing about the b-Vibe butt plugs is they come with great storage options. Your Petite Plug comes with a hard shell zippered case that opens up to offer a storage area for your plug, plus extra storage for your plug’s remote and charger. The charger fits into any USB slot and easily connects to the base of the toy magnetically. Once the flashing light adjacent to the charging area turns solid (takes an estimated 2 hours), your plug is ready to use. The remote is controlled by an included 3V battery. Don’t forget to pull the clear plastic tab out from under the battery before your first use!

After trying the Rimming Plug Petite I think I may have met my all-time favorite anal toy. The plug is solid yet comfortable and offers an amazingly intense vibrator in the tip coupled with a wonderfully unique rimming sensation for your hole. The phrase “Pleasure Overload” keeps flashing in my head when I think about this toy. I can’t think of any negative aspects to this vibrating butt plug, but its price might be a deterrent to some sex toy buyers. Still, when you consider that it’s made of good quality silicone, comes with a powerful vibrator and a rotating mechanism that does something that no other sex toy can do, and it’s rechargeable, it’s a fair price when you realize how much use you’re going to get out of this thing. I don’t know what else b-Vibe has up its sleeve, but I know if they ever put out a Fucking Plug I’m going to be first in line to try it.

Ready to try a b-Vibe Rimming Plug Petite of your own? Head over to Peepshow Toys to pick one out. Available in teal, purple, and black.

Ass Ballz from Boneyard Toys

NOTE: This review was originally released on November 4, 2020

I’m back with another review for Peepshow Toys, and today I’m looking at another fun silicone toy from Boneyard Toys: a set of solid anal balls called Ass Ballz.

I’ve been using anal beads (and later, balls) for as long as I’ve been using sex toys. The early anal beads I tried would be considered pretty pathetic by today’s standards: hard plastic beads with rough/sharp mold lines strung up on a super-porous knit string. They were cheap, and really looked and felt like it. Still, I remember how good they felt, especially during the moment of climax, those solid beads stroking my then-barely-explored prostate as I gave the strand a slow but sure tug as I was cumming.

Thankfully, many sex toys have evolved over the years, and Boneyard Toys has really outdone themselves with this set of anal balls for the more experienced user. Their Ass Ballz come in three sizes: Medium, Large, and Extra Large. Beginners and those who prefer smaller beads can find suitable silicone options elsewhere, but these four ball strands are geared more to those who are looking for something larger.

(MANUFACTURER PHOTOS)

Peepshow Toys sent me the Medium set and even those pack quite a punch. The rope—from ball one to the pull cord—measures 16” in length. As stated, these are made from 100% medical grade silicone, so the material is totally body friendly, unlike some of those earlier anal beads/balls that were made from weird materials that smelled funny. Do something good for your hole and pick out anal toys that are made from silicone and other body-safe materials. They don’t smell weird, won’t leech strange chemicals into your body, and usually these silicone toys last a lot longer. If you’ve ever spent money on jelly/PVC/TPR butt toys and found them losing their shape, melting, tearing, staining, or damaging other toys they’re stored with, consider upgrading your collection to stuff made of silicone. It’s really better in so many ways.

The silicone used in these anal balls is soft to the touch on the surface, but has a wonderfully solid feel to it. It’s silicone to the core, not some other unknown material that’s been coated in a thin layer of silicone to save production costs. Every other anal ball strand I have is pretty squeezable, but this Bone Yard set is good and solid. I love toys I can bear down on once they’re up inside me, and the more solid a toy is, the more it grinds against my prostate.

Of course, less give means that some will have a bit more trouble inserting these, especially if you’re not used to larger anal toys. The Medium set has four balls that measure 1.6” in diameter. Just for comparison, the Large size Vixen Gemstones anal balls that I reviewed recently “only” measure 1.25” across. So the Boneyard Ballz start large and only get bigger. Want something even larger for your hole? Try the Large (2” diameter) or the Extra Large (2.4” diameter) for even more hole popping times.

Regardless of the ball size, the design of all three is basically the same. Each rope has four like-sized balls spaced on on a narrow silicone cord. Interesting fact: the gap between each of the balls is the same measurement as the ball diameter. So the Medium set has 1.6” between each ball, the Large 2” between each balls, and the Extra Large set has a 2.6” space between the balls. I love that they spaced them out a little more than usual. While tightly-packed anal balls can be fun, I enjoy pulling on mine, and the extra bit of cord allows you to tug them a little more. But the rope is totally flexible, so once you get all four inside, they’ll still bang around against each other. These balls are smooth to the touch and totally free of any mold lines. Great for hole popping!

Once again, I used the thick water-based lube Peepshow Toys sent me in an earlier order: Wicked Simply Aqua Jelle. This is a body-friendly lubricant and (unlike a lot of water-based lubes) it goes on thick and clings nicely to toys like these anal balls. It seems to last a lot longer than a lot of water-based lubes, too. I don’t like having a lube dry up when I’m using anal toys, because it can make things feel uncomfortable, especially when you’re ready to pull these out. But the Wicked lube worked really well. I also tried this set with an oil-based lube Peepshow Toys sells: The Butters. This stuff goes on thick (kind of like actual butter) and lasts and lasts. I recommend either one, but the Wicked lube was a little less messy.

Even with the larger size, these lubed balls were swallowed hungrily by my hole. One of my favorite “sex toy sensations” is the way anal beads and balls slowly push my hole open and become swallowed up. The 1.6” space between the first and second ball gave me some slack to slide the first ball around once it was beyond my hole, and things only got better from there.

Some might be disappointed that there are only four balls on these Boneyard sets, but the increased size kind of makes up for it (and I’ve seen other sets of larger anal balls with only two or three balls on the rope, so four worked out just fine for me!). Once I had all four pushed up inside me, it was a deliciously full feeling, with lots of rubbing on my prostate. Want to give your P-spot even more stimulation? Slowly (or not so slowly) tug on the cord. They’ve added a nice loop handle on the end of the set, so not only can you easily pull your balls, but it doubles as a safety feature. (It keeps the rope from getting sucked all the way into your hole.)

My favorite part of using these Ass Ballz is the orgasm. As I’d hoped, the solidness of the balls really gives the user something to bear down on, especially during climax. For another fun sensation, try pulling the balls out as your start to orgasm. This is typically difficult for me, as my ass muscles tend to clamp down hard when I cum, and they grabbed these solid balls in a bear hug when I was unloading. And unload I did! The balls were kind of stuck in place, but everything else, uh, blew loose. I can’t say for sure if everyone who uses these anal balls will squirt like crazy, but I can say each time I used them, I made a big mess.

Once I was done, I had to wait a little bit for things to calm down (i.e. for my ass muscles to relax a bit) before I tried to extract these balls. I usually don’t get too much into post-orgasm toy play, but for some reason, extracting anal balls after cumming gives such weird and interesting sensations that I actually look forward to that “post game show” activity. Even though my cock is spent at this point, the prostate game is still going strong. It’s not a bad thing.

Even though I am totally happy with the “smaller” Medium set, I really hope to work my way up to one of the larger sets some day. At this point I can only imagine what the two bigger ropes of Ass Ballz will feel like, but I like thinking about it.

I mentioned lube already, but here’s another thing you might want to consider: an enema. When using anal toys (especially larger ones, and/or toys that are designed to “go deep” like these do), it might be beneficial to clean out your hole before getting busy. I also find that an enema of warm water really helps my hole relax before I start working a toy up there. Boneyard Toys also has a really cool douche system that turns a plastic water bottle into an instant enema. Simply fill your bottle with water, screw on one of the two included bottle adapters, then attach the 4-inch Boneyard Sqwert silicone nozzle, and comfortably proceed to flush out your hole before using your favorite toys. Perfect for travel, too, so you can prep your hole on the road or even at a buddy’s house.

Speaking of which, I forgot to mention one of my favorite things to do with anal balls like these: allow a sex buddy to grease up a set of balls and use them on my hole while sucking me off. It really adds an extra element to an already-good blowjob and usually results in even more explosive fireworks in the end. Unfortunately (due to 2020 and all that’s come along with it), I haven’t been able to test drive the Boneyard Ass Ballz during partner play, but I am definitely looking forward to it!

I definitely recommend these Ass Balls to anyone ready for larger anal balls. Take a look at each set’s specs with a trio of pics that show each size rope of anal balls:

Vedo Roq Vibrating Cock Ring

NOTE: This review was originally released on April 30, 2018.

(MANUFACTURER PHOTO)

Vibrating cock rings seem to fall into two categories: the high-end silicone type with built-in rechargeable vibrators, and cheaper stretchy rings with removable battery-operated bullets. Is it possible a lower-cost ring made of silicone and sporting a 10-function vibe works as nicely as the luxury models? Today I’m reviewing the Vedo Roc to find out.

Peepshow Toys recently began stocking the Roc cock ring and asked if I’d try it out. Made by Vedo, the Roc sports an affordable price (currently about $40 USD). As a reference, most cock rings of this type retail for $80+ to $100 and more. Is it possible that guys can enjoy the same things for over half the cost? First off, let’s take a look at the features Vedo is touting for its Roc cock ring. It’s made of a silky smooth silicone and inside is contained an “extremely powerful motor” with 10 vibration modes. The ring is rechargeable and has a waterproof charging port, which makes the ring itself safe to use in water. But how does it work? Let’s take a look.

I charged the ring before use. It’s a very straightforward process; push the charging pin into the center of the metal button on the side of the ring. The other end plugs into any USB port. Once the red light turns green you’re ready to play. Even though the embedded vibrator is the selling point of this toy, I first wanted to see how it works as a cock ring. I recently reviewed the high-end Atom cock ring by Pulse and the silicone ring was too snug to wear it behind the balls as a traditional cock ring. With a hole diameter of 3.2 cm (just over 1.25 inches), I was pretty sure the Roc wasn’t going to work as a regular cock ring either, but the ring portion of the toy has quite a bit of stretch. Work it slowly and carefully and you should be able to push each of your balls through the ring and pull your cock through after. I have large nuts, so this is no easy task with most silicone rings, but with a little patience it can be done. The ring is a tight fit when worn around the base of the cock and behind the balls, so if you don’t need an overly tight cock ring and/or don’t want to fuss with getting your nuts through the hole, go ahead and wear it at the base of the shaft. Rings like these are designed primarily for sex enhancement and if your sex partner has a clitoris, she will be able to press or grind against the raised aspect of the ring while it’s vibrating.

(MY PHOTO)

The so-called “nub tip” is one of the best features of the Roq. It’s almost like a hard nipple protruding from the top of the cock ring and you’ll get some intense sensations when you press sensitive body parts against it. Designed for clitoral stimulation, it can also please any erogenous zone. Wear the ring behind your balls and let them rest on the vibrator. The nub will tease the fuck out of your nuts and drive you wild. Actually, the entire ring quivers hard when it’s running, so everything it touches gets teased. You can even use the ring as a hand-held sex toy and glide the nub over anything that needs pleasing: nipples, navels, thighs, clits, cocks, and balls. As someone who loves using vibrating cock rings for frenulum massage, I of course tried teasing my sweet spot with the nub – and even the ring portion – and was treated to some pretty delicious vibrations. This thing will get you off! Let’s talk about the vibrator now.

Obviously, when a company puts a powerful vibrator inside a cock ring it’s going to add size and bulk to the toy. If you’ve never used a cock ring of this type before, just be aware that there is some extra weight involved that isn’t seen in basic cock rings. Even cheap battery operated rings are fairly lightweight. The Roq is a little bulky, but no more so than most. Your partner is going to press against the bulbous portion of the ring, so that will help support it during use. Even without someone else pressing on it it’s still not unduly heavy, just bulkier than regular rings. Operating the embedded vibe is pretty easy. Next to the metal charging port is a tiny round button stamped in the surface of the silicone. A quick click gets things started and the vibrations rapidly come to life. The Roq’s vibrator is strong and powerful, even on the “low” setting. Want to move to one of the other settings? Just give the button another quick click. Vedo claims the Roq has 10 different settings, but it’s difficult to separate one from the next. The vibrator is such a powerhouse that even the low settings rev like crazy, and it’s nearly impossible to tell one from another. Frankly I’d love to see a vibrating ring offer some very low/gentle teasing vibrations, for those times when you want to mix it up and not have it blasting. Don’t get me wrong, thunder can be fun, but long sessions would be even more enjoyable with some delicate teasing mixed in when desired.

After the first five clicks (steady vibes), you’ll cycle through the patterns. None of these particularly stands out; again, the vibe is so intense that it’s difficult to tell what the ring is doing a lot of the time. There’s a fast and faster pattern, a steady pattern with a quick drop then back to hard and fast, a rapid oscillation pattern, hard short bursts (this one is my favorite of the patterns, and it’s also the most distinct), a fourth and fifth that offer various levels of revving at slightly different speeds. If you’re looking for unique patterns in a vibrating ring, the Roq really doesn’t offer much of that, but if you need or want powerful vibes in a cock ring, Roq definitely holds its own against rings that cost two or three times as much. Vedo touts an “extremely powerful motor” and they aren’t kidding. The ring charges quickly and lasts for long sessions, even with the vibe pounding away the entire time. Vedo claims one charge will last 45 minutes; I’m thinking most of us won’t last that long with the intense vibrations that the Roq gives off! If at any time you need to shut the motor off, just press and hold the control button until everything ceases. You’ll still feel things tingling long after the Roq has been silenced.

Being made of silicone and having a waterproof charging port, you can use the ring during playtime in the shower, bath or other wet areas. You definitely want to make sure the ring is completely dry before hooking it up to the charger, especially if your USB cable is going to be connected to an electrical outlet. Because it’s submersible, you can easily clean your Roq in hot soapy water when you’re through. As with putting it on, take your time stretching the ring and pulling your cock and balls back through it when you take it off.

All in all, the Vedo Roc vibrating cock ring is a nice choice for guys who want to upgrade to a luxury ring but who aren’t ready to pay a hundred bucks or better for a rechargeable silicone ring. You’ll probably get more variety in vibrations with the higher priced models, but for the price the Roc offers lots of powerful vibration embedded in a sleek silicone package. Neo Elite Silicone Cock and Balls from Blush Novelties

NOTE: This review was originally released on April 1, 2020

Another new favorite dildo to report on, and until recently I’d never even heard of it. It’s the Neo Elite Silicone Cock and Balls from Blush Novelties. The specific one I tried—there are four designs—is the 7.5 inch dildo, available from Peepshow Toys in neon orange and neon pink. I’ll touch on all four of the available neon cocks, but let’s take a closer look at the one I tested.

(MANUFACTURER PHOTO)

The 7.5 is realistic in shape and design, but its bright color keeps it from looking too realistic. While not usually a fan of bright neon sex toys, I actually like the orange in this one. It’s kind of a “safety orange,” like a traffic cone or the color of a vest worn by someone working on the highway. Every dick in this collection is bright, so you’ll have an easy time laying your hands on them if you’re piling all of your silicone cocks together in the same bin or drawer.

The silicone used in this toy is body-safe and dual density, which means the Neo Elite has a firm inner core with a softer, squishier outer layer, so it not only has the exact shape of a real dick, but it pretty much feels like an actual erection as well. The cock head is very realistic and totally smooth, with a defined ridge. The shaft is lifelike and very vascular, adding a bunch of texture. The balls are also realistic and make an ideal anal-safe base, so you can take it as deep as you like without having to worry about the cock getting lost up inside you.

Just beyond the balls is a thick, round suction cup. I’ve used Blush toys with suction cups before, and these are always well executed. The cup on this dong is totally firm, so you can grip it easily in your hand while using the dildo, using it to rotate the cock in your hole for some extra-interesting sensations, or moving it in and out of you at whatever speed you desire. The suction cup affixes to any smooth surface and holds firm if you like to ride, and this dildo is wonderful for riding!

What makes this dildo so great—at least for me—is the fact that it’s not exceptionally thick. True, the length is over 7 inches (Blush touts the “insertable length” as 5.5 inches), but with a 1.5″ diameter, it’s not a real hole stretcher. Which, for me is a welcome switch from some of the bigger dildos I’ve been using to invade my ass lately.

The shaft juts out exactly like a “flagpole cock” and is pretty straight, and is snaked with a bunch of veins, which not only gives the Neo Elite a more realistic look, but offers the user some extra texture, especially if you’re fucking yourself with this. The head is totally realistic and might just be my favorite part of this dildo. It’s smooth, curvy, and has the perfect helmet shape. It feels just great as it eases your hole open, before the slightly thicker shaft opens you up even more.

The balls are cute, too. Not too big, but plenty to grip or squeeze while you’re playing with your new toy. If you enjoy the sensation of nuts slapping against your hole during a fucking, you’ll enjoy going balls-deep with this one. Just grip the suction cup and push the dildo in and out at whatever speed drives you wild.

The Neo Elite is a decent firmness for prostate massage, and the dick is just flexible enough for it to curve to your own anatomy. It might give a more intense P-spot stroking if the dildo was made entirely of firm silicone, but if you position the Neo right where you want it and use your ass muscles to clench down, you’ll soon feel that solid inner layer as you grip. It’s definitely recommended for those who prefer a gentler prostate massage.

While the 7.5 model is pretty much perfect for me, I want to point out some of the features of the other three dongs in this collection. The other 7.5 incher—the one without balls—has a more tapered shaft, growing thicker the deeper you send it. The shaft has a sweet curve, which many appreciate for targeted prostate massage. Without the balls, this 7.5 allows 7 full inches to slide deep up your ass. The suction cup keeps the dildo safely anchored.

Prefer something smaller? Take a look at Blush’s 6 inch Neo Elite. It’s got an insertable length of 4.5″ and slightly-more-slender girth of 1.4 inches. The shaft is straight up and down on this one and the appearance is a little smoother than the other, but still has some nice realistic details, including a perky set of balls.

If girth is what you’re after, check out the 7-inch Neo Elite. It might not be quite as long, but it’s got a thicker shaft (1.75″) which sports a beautiful downward curve, which reminds me a lot of the cock swinging between Jeff Stryker’s legs (albeit not as long; Jeff’s dick runs a whopping 10 inches). If the Jeff Stryker dildo has always appealed to you visually, but the size as just too damn big, why not give this dick a try? Not only is it a more manageable size, but—unlike the Styker cock—it’s made of silicone, so it’s body-friendly, odor free, and built to last for years.

One of the best things about these silicone neon cocks from Blush Novelties is they are all pretty affordably priced, as silicone dildos go, so you could pick up more than one if you want to try a few of them. I’m definitely recommending the one I tried to those who want something realistically shaped and that feels real, in a slightly smaller size for easier penetration, a hot thrusting session, or just working it in to the balls so you have something that feels extra-dicklike to bear down on while you’re stroking your own cock. Into pegging? These Neo Elites work with many harnesses, as well, so strap one on!
